I plan to stay two nights near Mount Fuji. I filtered accommodations by positive reviews and found this newly opened lodge. Almost all reviews were good, with not a single negative comment, and when I saw it was run by a Chinese owner, I booked it immediately. The location is super convenient, just a three to five-minute walk from the station. The entire lodge is brand new and spotless, with lots of Chinese calligraphy hanging inside, which made it feel very welcoming. The dining area is quite spacious, equipped with an ice maker, microwave, and instant noodles for purchase. A 7-Eleven is about a ten-minute walk away. The scenery is incredible. I just checked in tonight and I'm really looking forward to seeing Mount Fuji's snowscape tomorrow morning. I'll share photos then. The lighting design throughout the lodge is also very thoughtful, creating a great ambiance. The owner is from Zhejiang, and he's incredibly reliable. When traveling abroad, it's common to lose signal on your phone, so you can only communicate via messages. The owner's replies were quick and his information was accurate, which is truly rare when staying away from home. The room is very spacious and immaculately clean, and the furniture like tables and chairs is still new. But I have to emphasize this! In all my time in Japan, this is the first time I've encountered such a spacious bathroom; I absolutely love it! The kettle, and all bathroom amenities are fully provided, making for a comfortable stay. The lodge also offers vehicle rentals: electric scooters and electric bikes for 2000 yen a day, and regular bicycles for 1000 yen a day, which is excellent value for money! Most outside rentals require scanning QR codes for registration, which is a complicated process and hard to manage. Here, you can rent directly at the front desk, which saves so much hassle. This is a huge plus! This was a self-funded stay, with no cooperation or advertising fees; these are my genuine, heartfelt feelings. If you're a Chinese friend reading this, please give it a like! The hotel offers a free shuttle service from 8 AM to 10 AM, round-trip to Platform 10 of Kawaguchiko Station (at 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM) and Fujikyu Highland Bus Stop (at 2:15 PM, 5:00 PM). The hotel service was excellent and the facilities were comprehensive. The breakfast quality was high. Although there are trees in front of the hotel, blocking the view of Mount Fuji from the room, you can walk to Oishi Park in less than ten minutes to see it. Transportation is also quite convenient, and the room is very spacious. The only downside might be a few small insects.

The room with the view of Mount Fuji was amazing; just looking at it made me feel so much more peaceful. The hotel offered complimentary snacks and drinks, and the dinner was also very good. The service was thoughtful and attentive. They provide a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station. When you need a pickup, you can go to the nearby tourist information center and ask staff to call the hotel. After confirming your booking name and nationality, a car will be sent over very quickly. P.S. Make sure to keep your key safe! There's a 10,000 JPY fine if you lose it at checkout.

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

When the weather is clear, you can see Mount Fuji directly from the window, and drawing open the curtains in the morning was truly worth it. The location is also convenient for getting around Lake Yamanaka, and there are self-service electric-assist bicycles at the hotel entrance, with Chinese language support, which is very handy. Communication with the front desk was smooth, and the check-in process was hassle-free. It's perfect for those who want to quietly admire Mount Fuji.

Excellent hotel with a view of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room is quite spacious, and the staff is very welcoming. The hotel has an onsen, which is essentially a sauna and a hot spring pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of cycling. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner included, both served buffet style. For those not used to eating fish, rice, and other Japanese cuisine in the morning, there are also European croissants, jams, and coffee available. For dinner, the buffet features unlimited crab, but you'll have to contend with the Japanese guests for the crab claws – it seemed to me they choose this hotel specifically for that reason! The cable car is just 30 meters from the hotel, which will take you up a small mountain with a great view of Mount Fuji. It's also quite close to the bus station, about a 10-12 minute walk.
