Had gone to Patna about a decade ago. Maurya is still the most loved hotel by city's elite and possibly only 5 star facility. The staff is courteous and make you feel comfortable. The Executive Director Sh DB Singh is possibly one of the most sought after professional in the hospitality industry. And he personally takes care of the guests. However, the hotel needs competition now. The lobby looks a bit cramped for space. We were there when a VIP wedding was happening and hence every corner in the hotel had people. It possibly needs complete renovation so that a good coffee shop is built befitting its legacy.

The rooms are foreign standard. Best ***aged hotel. But location is right on a busy road. No parking. You've to walk to 1st floor to check in. Of course, the staff is helping to fetch your baggage. Sleep quality is good. Very centrally located. Offices, museums, landmarks, food places - local Street as well restaurants-are just around. Recommended.
