"The photo that promotes this hotel on trip.com features a lake and raft houses on the lake. This is not the reality for this hotel, although it does provide tours that visit this lake, and so initial expectations were not met.
However if you want my review of the actual hotel, here goes. The family run hotel provides a cool place to stay for physically fit guests and people who do not suffer too badly with vertigo. All the rooms are tree houses, reached by narrow walkways through the subforest at different levels. The rooms vary in size and height to suit everyone, from 4m to 15m up in the trees. Central to the complex is a nice outdoor pool. I loved it, but remember in humid tropical locations infrastructure does not last long, so don't get upset if a table collapsed or a handrail comes adrift, there is a guy who fixes everything. Food available all day, home cooked and reasonably priced. The hotel.is only 2km from the park gates so location, location, location.
But definitely no lake!"

"Tiny house with huge scenery. Good for travellers with own transport. It worths to stay here at least for one night and enjoy Thai countryside.

"Nice, cozy hotel, good breakfast, and fruits and omelette, and greens, and small desserts, coffee, tea, and some hearty.
Keep in mind that you still need to get to Cheow Lan Lake, either on your own (taxi/car/bike), or with an excursion, it is more profitable, of course, to rent a car and yourself, but it is better to cooperate, a company and a car and a boat, everything will be more profitable. Nearby is Khao Sok Park, there is a street with cafes, rafting on the dam, massage, currency exchange (the rate is not very good, but if necessary, there is a place to change money).
So the hotel grounds are quiet, calm. If you are here and see a cat, please feed her)
You will understand, she will come up and ask)"

"Very liked. I can't judge by location, on the car kilometer there, kilometer here does not play a big role. Parking is. Staff responsive. Original design of houses. Clean, comfortable, thoughtful. Water in abundance. Very important is the shower. In the previous place, it didn't even cause the desire to come in, but here it was clean. There was one minus - the bats, then how they were eating for quite a long time at sunset. But as dark, it became quiet. And, well, not very successful location of the air conditioner. I had to sleep with open doors, but from the livelihood from the street on the doors of the special net.
Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant near the hotel. Not a special gurman, I prefer home food. There was no special delight in the food, but everything was edible and relatively delicious.
I will conclude: even though, like a small minus, if we are still in these regions we will still stay in this hotel."

"Very beautiful place in the middle of nature. Need to hire a driver or rent a car to get here...not much around the place so if you go there, you might just stay at the hotel or go on a little adventure around the surrounding area, but don't expect many food options around the area. Would stay here again."

"We stayed at earth house. It was clean room except frog in the toilet :) but bcs its in the jungle thats normal.we had night safari and lake tour. Enjoyed a lot. Breakfast and lunch were good. We only had problem to get there from Phuket. And i think you should stay there for 2 or 3 nights to get more fun."

GGuest UserThe atmosphere is a place to stay on a not very high mountain. The reservation was for a family home, the entire house was reserved, but the upper and lower floors were separated and could not be seen through each other. The path up the mountain is quite steep with stairs. If elderly people find it difficult to walk into the room because they have to use a fairly high ground staircase.
Inside the room is well organized. The surrounding atmosphere is surrounded by mountains. The weather is good. The food is delicious. The restaurant staff provide good service.

GGuest UserWhat an absolutely amazing accommodation! The scenery that surrounds the place is breathtaking and really gives you the feeling of being away from the world.
The staff are so kind and attentive, nothing was ever too much for them (even sorting getting our bags to us when we had last minute changes to travel plans). They also helped us arrange some tours and travel arrangements easily, which really helped us unwind after a long journey to the accommodation.
Having a breakfast watching the monkeys swing from the treetops really made the stay that extra bit special, plus the food was delicious!
Rooms had a lovely rustic feeling with everything you’d need for a comfortable couple of days (or longer). As a heads up the beds are firm but I didn’t mind at all!
Highly recommend to anyone for a unique experience which really captivates Khao Sok as soon as you get there.

DDonna Burns116This place is amazing! We booked the 4 day/3night grand jungle and lake package directly with the hotel and then booked an extra night through trip.com. We didn’t want to leave! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, everything so well organised. Lots of activities to choose from e.g canoe trip, night safari, half day hike, cooking class, Thai massage, all picked up and dropped back to the hotel. The accommodation is surrounded by rainforest, you can hear and see monkeys at breakfast, monitor lizards climbing in the tree. Rooms very clean and comfortable and food very good. Book this place and go to the lake as part of your trip. You will not be disappointed! AMAZING!!

AAngele19The location was amazing, close to a little town with restaurants,bars, massage areas. The room was in the middle of a jungle pretty much so the view was gorgeous. The staff was great, very helpful and nice. And food was also amazing, must try the Tom yum. There was no air conditioning but they provided fans and the weather cools down at night so it was good enough. There were also nets around the bed to keep the bugs away, just make sure to keep it closed tightly. There’s a little swimming hole next to the hotel restaurant where you can also watch monkeys swim! Would definitely recommend staying here if you love to be immersed into nature.

GGuest UserHighly recommended! We had a room by the pool and it was simple but clean and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and incredibly friendly! The whole complex has a nice atmosphere, visited by monkeys, large, with quiet air conditioning and good location! Good breakfast selection and great help with organizing excursions. Thank you!
The only thing would be - the bathroom needs a good cleaning with a strong chemical.

GGuest UserWe came to the national park for a few days and booked an inexpensive but cozy room and it was the only budget hotel where you can stay with pets that we had, but upon arrival we were very surprised! Everything turned out to be much better than we expected! Great staff, cozy clean houses, amazing nature and a garden from which we were treated to flower lemonade, too delicious! We are very happy and will only come back here!
