"What an amazing stay. Everything was spotless, comfortable and a lot of thought put into what we would need as travellers. Food was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. Best meals I’ve had in a long time. The issue we had was difficulty with check in. There is not a ‘person’ there to help with anything. We will definitely be back again!"

"A very quiet, clean and well run hotel. Very close to Parliament House and a 15 minute bus ride from Canberra CBD (No. 59). There is a local shopping centre with lots of restaurants, cafes and a Coles supermarket only 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of off street parking if you have a car. "I recently stayed at Rydges Canberra and, overall, found the experience to be quite average. The hotel didn’t quite live up to my expectations — while it wasn’t bad, it also wasn’t particularly memorable. The room itself was clean but pretty basic and somewhat dated, lacking the comfort or extra touches you'd hope for at this price point. One thing that stood out as a bit off-putting was the parking fee — $25 per night seemed steep, especially considering the overall value of the stay. On a more positive note, the breakfast was definitely the highlight. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and offered a good variety — a great way to start the day. In summary, Rydges Canberra was okay for a short stay, but it didn’t impress. I’d consider other options next time unless the breakfast alone is enough to bring me back."

"TV had hardly any free to air channels working, o Netflix and no YouTube. Smart TV was not programmed. All table tops and bench tops were grimy with streak marks. Bathroom floor was never cleaned before we arrived or during our stay. The small fitness area was never cleaned in the 4 days we used it. Someone left a can of Sprite and chewing gum on the bench as soon as you walk in and it was there for 4 days. Things only get done if you complain to front desk."
