Hotels Near Banana Beach in Phuket

I stayed for a week in a hotel in a room with access to the pool. Cleaning is poor, you have to wash the cups yourself before using them. The hotel is very small. The room, the pool and the place to have breakfast that's all. I missed cozy places in the open air, but it was not critical. Breakfast from early morning until 10 am. Always eggs in different preparations, vegetables for salad, sausages, bacon, some Thai food, tea, a coffee machine are available. There are pastries, but I liked only the classic croissant. The location is convenient for those who have their own transport or like to use taxis. You can see several beaches at once. Very close to 7/11, a pharmacy, a small fruit shop. You can always buy mango, pineapples, passion fruit and vegetables. I found several excellent cafes within walking distance of 7-20 minutes from the hotel. Very close to the hotel there is a yellow cafe. Very nice hostess, you can rent a bike from her. The room is small but cozy. I missed hooks in the bathroom and a place to dry wet clothes. There is also no knife, plates. If you want to eat fruit on the terrace in the evening, you need to buy disposable tableware. There are no sun loungers in the room with access to the pool. You can sunbathe on the common sun loungers, but there are 3 of them for everyone. Even rooms are always in the shade. Odd rooms face the east side, the sun is in the morning. The hotel itself is in a quiet place, quiet and birds are singing. It took 25 minutes to get to the beach. In the morning before 9 o'clock it is pleasant, and returning at 13 is quite difficult in the heat. This hotel is suitable for those who are going to travel a lot outside the hotel. For those who wanted to relax only in the hotel, it is not suitable. It takes 1-2 hours by taxi to get to the sights of the island. It is better to choose another hotel to explore the southern part of the island. And if you are interested in seeing the northern part. An excellent option.

Beautiful property, beachfront resort that keep up to the 5 stars level. Staffs were helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. Even though it is a 30+ yrs old resorts, the maintenance was excellent. Extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommended. Our room was facing the beach and we had the most beautiful sunset view here.

The hotel is heavily tired. It probably was good once it has been built but now it doesn't look as good as shown in the photos. Our first room (1-3 photos) was a disaster. It had a door to the next room and there was a strong kind-of-sigarette smell coming through the door gap. It was impossible to stay there. And it also had hair all over the floor and the dirty spots almost everywhere. I had to ask for another room (4-9 photos). It didn't have that smell and was a little cleaner but not perfect as you can see on the photos. I also disliked both of the rooftop pools despite the fact that I am totally a pool guy and in some hotels I was the only one spending the whole time in a pool. They doesn't look that beautiful in real life with dirty tiles. Anyway the employees are kind and helpfull. The location is perfect if you don't mind walking - it takes 10-15 minutes to reach the beach or 5-10 minutes to reach the shopping area. The breakfast is 8/10 and lacked of plain and simple proteins like sausages in a few days. As a result, don't expect too much from the hotel. Maybe it used to be premium quality but now it's 6/10 at max.

This time during the Chinese New Year, I saw direct flights and decisively chose Phuket. Since I only booked two nights, the hotel did not provide airport transfers. According to the guide, it seemed that three nights would be available. Waiting for the bus on the road, the traffic jam somewhat affected my mood, but when I arrived at the hotel, I saw the front desk staff welcoming me with smiles on their faces, and the bad mood was swept away. Aman's service decision was the ceiling. When I arrived in the room, I was very moved when I saw the layout of the room (I informed Ctrip in advance that it was an anniversary and I hoped to get the layout). Everywhere you go in the hotel, there will be staff greeting you with a smile, and they will find out any of your needs in a timely manner. There are no service staff who can speak Chinese in the hotel. It is a bit laborious to order in English, but it does not affect communication at all. The hotel has its own beach with very fine sand. We borrowed the hotel's snorkeling tools and boats to have fun. When you are tired, you can read and relax on the beach. There is also a special kidsclub for children. Just put your children there (over four years old), and the staff inside will be very patient and play with them. It is really a standard holiday feature.

Amazing place to stay - 5 star luxury with great service. Breakfast and pool were both amazing! They also have shuttles down to their beachfront restaurants and beach club. The pool is open 24/7 which is really awesome. Every room opens up to the pool and feels like a mini Villa. Good gym. Great value for quality spa too - make sure to book in advance as it’s not the biggest spa with only 3 masseuses.

The hotel is located in a very quiet place. I woke up to the birds chirping, but even if I wanted to hear even this, I had to open the balcony door. It’s not close to the beach though, around 5-6 km to the Nai Thon Beach and approximately the same distance to the Mai Khao Beach. It’s fast and convenient to get there by bike. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I got the map of the island at the reception and used it. The nearest shops and restaurants are around 15 minutes away from the hotel on foot. I enjoyed my stay at Nai Yang Place and would recommend it to those who like peace and quiet.

Second time here at Intercontinental Phuket and I’m still in awe. The resort is spacious, clean and filled with amenities and deserves the luxurious status. During our stay this time, we had some issues with the room but received exceptional hospitality. The manager on duty was prompt in communication and personally attended to our queries and provided us with a very fair solution. Can’t praise the hospitality and service enough at Intercontinental. The breakfast buffett and in-room dining are exceptional too. Will visit again.

Great place right next to the beach, the balcony overlooks the sea. The beach, unfortunately, is not very clean, but they clean it further away. The room was clean, all the towels and linen were changed the next day. Everyone is very friendly. There is a restaurant right at the exit, kittens are walking around. The shower, unfortunately, is very weak, but there was a foot shower with good pressure, you can quickly wash yourself with it. Slippers would be nice. Nearby there are many shops, restaurants, massage parlors, seven trees with a food area. I really liked it, it's a pity that we didn't stay here long.

The Villa is amazing! The location might not be ideal but they provide free shuttle to the Kamala beach. Indeed to anywhere nearby provided on availability. Hotel staff are great. Prompt in the service and the cleaniness is 5/5! Recommend for families. The space is fantastic. Take note pool is deep for children. Advice to take the 2 bedroom villa with children pool for those with children.

The hotel is owned by a Chinese boss. It is located right next to Patong Beach. Turn left and there is a 711, which is super convenient. The rooms are all single-family villas with balconies. The privacy is very good. The rooms are very new and beautiful. The hardware facilities are arranged according to the habits of Chinese people. It is very good. The Chinese boss is also very nice. Because we decided to come to Phuket at the last minute and did not make a guide, he recommended us a lot of fun and delicious places, and also helped to set up a sea trip and the number one Thai massage in Phuket. I will stay here next time I come to Phuket.
