"It feels like a rather tasteless hotel. Compared to the above, the price is not much more cost-effective, and compared to the below, the service is not as good as that of Surin and Racha in terms of details. I communicated by email in advance to confirm that there would be anniversary decorations, but there were none. The staff at the front desk who checked in did not even want to do the most basic hotel introduction. After collecting the deposit and sending it to the door of the room, they just left. The sloppiness was shocking. The swimming pool in the room is not heated. When the weather is around 30 degrees, the water is quite cold. It is basically a decoration. The Thai restaurant costs more than 700 yuan per person for a casual meal, and the taste and appearance are quite bland😅 The breakfast menu is OK, the all-day restaurant has good products, and the beach staff are very enthusiastic. Thanks to the guys at the pool bar and the water sports center, so that the overall stay experience is not too bad."

"The high price is justified. Each room is a standalone villa. The room was very clean, and right past the entrance was my infinity pool, with an endless ocean view outside 🌊. The breakfast was perfect for taking photos – very Instagrammable! The vanity and bathtub in the bedroom were also great for photos, I won't post them, but you know what I mean – they were just beautiful~. Service: The rooms are located on a hill with a steep incline. The hotel has a dedicated shuttle that takes us to Kata Beach and can also bring us back to our room. It was quite thrilling and exciting with those ups and downs~. Hygiene: Very clean. My skin is sensitive, and I woke up without feeling itchy all over, which was great~. Facilities: The hotel offers many facilities, but unfortunately, I only stayed one day and didn't get to experience them before leaving, boo hoo. Next time I visit, I'll definitely make sure to try them all!"

"Our experience at Anantara was nothing short of amazing. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable mattresses and fresh linens. The beach was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The service was top-notch, and the pool was fantastic. We also enjoyed the hotel’s restaurants—the food was excellent. Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended!"

"Aside from being pricey, this hotel is flawless. The service is exceptional, and I had a very comfortable stay. The staff's attitude and work quality are top-notch. However, the on-site dining options are just average and also quite expensive. This hotel offers great privacy and discretion, especially compared to more mainstream hotels. It's very quiet and not overly crowded, making it an excellent choice for a getaway. The only downside is that dining options are limited nearby, so I'd recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here, as it would make eating out much more convenient."

"I want to complain about the Anantara hotel. First off, for such an expensive two-night stay, costing us nearly 5000 RMB, the minibar wasn't even complimentary! As soon as we arrived, they started giving us a lot of information, but we were just tired from the journey and weren't in the mood to listen. Our butler, Nina, despite clearly hearing us say our English wasn't very good, still rattled off the room's features in fast English and didn't even bother to ask if we understood. We also mentioned on the first day that we had an early flight and would need a packed breakfast or to eat early, and she confirmed that a packed breakfast was possible. However, on the day we checked out, not only was the minibar not free, but the prices were also significantly higher than at the 7-Eleven outside! And there was no packed breakfast, not even a cup of coffee! The entire experience was terrible. On top of that, on the night we checked in, we found a huge, enormous cockroach in the bathroom! The hotel staff just said 'sorry' and then helped deal with it. Compared to the Andaz Pattaya, which we visited in May this year, this hotel is unbelievably bad. At the Andaz, the minibar was free, and they even came to apologize and offered two bottles of champagne and a room rate reduction just because of a minor air-conditioning leak! We only realized there was no breakfast right before we left. During the check-out process, they didn't even ask if we needed breakfast; instead, they were frantically calling housekeeping to ask what drinks we had taken. In the end, because they didn't provide a packed breakfast, they gave us two wooden bookmarks as compensation! What an insincere hotel! Furthermore, while out shopping, I noticed people promoting their timeshare presentations (known as 'tingke fang'). I looked it up on Xiaohongshu and found that these presentations can offer much cheaper stays, but there's a high chance of being subjected to one-on-one sales pitches to join their membership program. I honestly feel this hotel isn't focusing on improving its internal service quality but rather on developing its membership base! They don't take their customers seriously. Even if someone has money, who would want to become a member of a hotel like this?"

"Perfect in every way, quiet, relaxing, facilities, everything is impeccable, polite staff, attentive, very good service, delicious food, a happy stay. Very beyond words I feel that you are going to another very relaxing world, great."

"Regarding this hotel, my review is that it's an absolute champion for value for money! It's super popular, and you can catch stunning sunsets almost every day. It's perfect for those who love to just relax at the hotel when visiting Thailand. (If you're looking for a lot of nightlife, this might not be the best fit.) This hotel is quite similar to The Racha among Phuket hotels, as both require a speedboat to get to the island. The Racha has an island vibe with bluer waters, while this place has a tropical rainforest feel, which is uniquely charming. I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights, enjoyed delicious food, and had a great time with activities. Overall, it was a very happy experience. The beachside massage was also exceptionally good. It will definitely be a trip I'll fondly remember. However, a crucial tip: when you leave your room at night, always remember to turn off the lights!!! Otherwise, you'll find a lot of flying ants and bugs (which is understandable since the hotel is built amidst the forest). Remember this, seriously!"

"Cleanliness: Very good. I even saw the cleaning staff take off their shoes before entering to clean the room. Service: Mostly okay. It was during a marathon, so there were a lot of guests, but the basic services were met. The front desk seemed to have some new staff members; there was a mix-up with unlocking my door, which led me to run up and down four times. They could definitely use more training and shouldn't be distracted while serving guests. Environment: This is a large hotel within the Laguna complex. It offers great value for money, which explains why it's so popular. The hotel has its own pool, and transportation within the community is very convenient. Facilities: Decent. The bed was too soft for my liking, not very comfortable to sleep on. However, for the price, the value is excellent, and the lake view room is absolutely stunning – highly recommended! The hotel also recommended a very affordable massage place, conveniently located within the Laguna community."
