"Hotel location is a bit biased. We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit our customers. The environment is OK, parking is very convenient. Breakfast is not very rich, but the price is more affordable."
"Great location. Good service from the staff. I wish the studio is closer and easier way to get to it. We had to walk along the firedoor and parking lot.
But overall all were good. The facilities are excellent"
"We were there Friday and Saturday night just for Rick Stein restaurant didn’t do a lot of with the hotel
Cheeky Dog was ok for Friday night till 23:00
Cold breakfast was ok very standard any hot food extra charge
Level 3 room 301 has the view of the water the king room is large and comfortable
Bathroom is spotless
Comfortable but can feel my partner turning etc. but ok"
"Our stay at Oaks Port Stephens was a stop over on our way home from holidays. Everything about the accommodation was perfect! We were even blessed with a room upgrade with a pool view. The room was clean, comfy and well set out. We rate it 10/10"
"Great experience overall for a long weekend stay around Nelson Bay. Walking distance to the shops and harbour area. Rooms are huge although outdated and could use some deep clean on some areas, but all appliances and equipment inside the room are functioning well."
"A bit disappointed that Trip.com didn’t give you the option to claim NSW vouchers.
Landmark Resort provide excellent customer service, best I had ever experienced. Sam was amazing on our arrival and very helpful. Floors were sticky from soap residue, she came up within 10 minutes to wipe over tiles with clean water. Later that evening, she came up again to help me with the turning on the stove.
Apartment was immaculate and well designed for a small 1 bedroom. Comfortable and modern. Lots of double PowerPoints to plug in your own devices. Beautiful view off the balcony. Excellent fast wifi. Great pool and games room (air hockey with ability to team up with a partner - 4 players, plus other games).
Negatives:
1. Kitchen - No oven. Could add scissors, wooden spoon and smaller sized pan. Strange to have a huge fry pan to cook for 2 people, and on a small stove top. Also would recommend replacing Tefal type plans as they can become a health hazard when old.
Bathroom - Shower head could do with an upgrade to handheld as the fixed one is small, and only wets just below shoulders, plus splashes everywhere. We made good use of the spa bath. Square toilet seats aren’t comfortable.
Iron is very cheap and old. Dirt was coming out of the holes underneath and water kept spilling out of it."
"great little motel close to restaurant and shops, the in house restaurant is great if you don want to walk to town,,,great food....extra parking if needed and grounds are very tidy. the rooms are quite warm at night (winter) so no need for the air con.....the restaurant stopped doing breakfast through winter so youll have to go down town,,,great cafe on the river."
"A hotel right next to the Newcastle Airport. A good choice if you have a car and don't want to stay too close to the Newcastle city centre or Port Stephens. Take approximately 15 - 20 mins drive to those areas. Staff are friendly and the rooms are large. Would have been better if there were optional amenities offered in the rooms, like toothbrush and slippers."
"It is a nice hotel and is very near to the port where the whale watching cruises are. The reception is also nice enough to let us park the car after we checked out so that we join the cruise."

Amazing
GGuest UserWe were very unhappy with the room alocated to us.
We booked a partial sea view room.
There was no sea view unless you stood up and were tall.
The view was blocked by a white permanent stand.
We went to reception to discuss this and were shown a smaller room with a view if you stood in the corner of the room.
We were told the place was fully occupied so they couldn't help us any more.
This wasn't correct as there were still vacancies on the website.
This all left us very disappointed.
On another note the breakfast staff were just lovely offering suggestions to us and other people about what to do locally.
No one at the front desk made any suggestions
Also at the front of our room where you could sit if you wanted to look at a white partition was overgrown with weeds as was some other parts of the resort
AAnonymous UserStaffs are nice & friendly.
Warm water provided everywhere including the outdoor bbq area, which makes cleaning relatively easy.
Heater was on when check in. This is really nice in this cold weather.
The dish rack is rusty, so i didnt use it. Other than that r all great
GGuest UserIt has been an amazing stay for us this past week. So many things we can do onsite, the indoor pool, the bowling alley, the playground, the indoor kiddie play area and more.
The room was clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is great, close to a lot of beaches.
Kids loved it.
It’s just so perfect. Will definitely go back 😊😊
LLenksChampagne lifestyle on a beer budget! Absolutely beautiful newly renovated hotel. Stylish room decoration and fittings have a very luxurious feel, everything is brand new. Gorgeous comfy big bed, stunning water views. 10/10 shower. Fancy day beds by the pool. Hotel reception bar offers a selection of drinks, including nice wine and premixed cocktails. Lots of local information and recommendation available upon scanning the QR code in our room. Plenty of parking, and within easy walking distance to everything the town has to offer.
GGuest UserClean and convenient, friendly staff, perfect for bigger family. The only issue is why use the tranpancy curtain in the bedroom? It wakes us up too early in summer morning.
GGuest UserI don't recommend it for small families(who have young kids).. i booked 2 bedrooms appartment and when i got there i got shoked for the bedroom how far were from each other , one bedroom upstairs and one down stairs , i don't understand how they do something like that, my kids had to sleep on the sofa bed because i won't leave them sleep that far from me.
When i booked it i didn't know that and when i asked them if they can change the room for me they said that's only what we have we don't have 1 bedroom appartment only 2 , i don't understand how come hotel like this hotel only have 2 bedrooms apparment , how come if couples want to book a 1 bedroom apparmtent ??
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Check in was a bit odd, had to go into the pub to get my key, but the room was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and modern, absolutely loved it!!
Checking out was easy, just locked the door and popped the key in the checking out box.
Car park has limited spaces so can be a bit difficult.
But overall we were very happy with the accommodation.
KKW BarryGreat location! Close to beach and restaurants.
Cant believe the reception is only open on Sat morning during the weekend with full of customer.
I did late check in since we went there after school time from Sydney. I was not able to have towels for the night.
GGuest UserActually this is a good apartment..i booked the 2 bedrooms apartment..but the problem is they didn't make it clear on the description for how many people can stay in this 2 bedrooms apartment..how can they wrote it only for 2 person while they have 4 beds?? But overall this is a good place..
MMarkusBeautiful campsite by the water and on the beach.
Lots of families camp here and we had a very well-equipped bungalow with our own Teppanyaki grill.
Unfortunately a bit isolated on a headland but pure relaxation.
There is no breakfast as it is more of a campsite, but the nearest large supermarket is just a few minutes away by car.
