"Awesome family homestay, there are three rooms, each room has a separate parking space. There is a living room, a kitchen, and you can barbecue. Near the water, you can watch the sunset under the tree by the sea. The landlord Simon is very enthusiastic."

"Quirky place. Our room was very nice but looks like it has recently been renovated with new furniture and tiling in the bathroom but just a few old surfaces still left that detracts from what could be a beautiful room. Only 1 bedside table is a strange thing to have in a queen room. The bed rolls away if you sit up against the bed head. But, I had a fantastic sleep with what feels like new bed, bedding and pillows. I felt it was strange that the bed did not have the top sheet, just a quilt. The food at the pub is typical pub food and very nice but in my opinion expensive. $30 for a chicken schnitzel, tiny salad that can really only be called garnish and a small amount of hot chips. But it was ver nice. Saying that, so far I am finding Tasmania is expensive which says a lot considering I live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney."

"We fell in love with our Peninsula cabin at this well maintained holiday park. It was perfect for us as we had the accessible access cabin with a ramp and no stairs. It also had a fabulous big safety bathroom. We had a balcony with a great little bbq grill. We cooked both nights. Just outside our cabin at dusk there were little wallabies. Also lots of birds including gorgeous green rosellas. There was a wonderful bush track down to Stewart's Bay beach. We loved the Tasman Peninsula for all the natural features and the historical Port Arthur. Book here!"

"What we got was the largest of the six, which really faced the sea and the spring blossomed. The service was warm and taught us how to feed the kangaroos who came back at night. Bisheno's own restaurants are also far better than other nearby towns, and the home of the little blue penguins is also very interesting. The whole trip to Tasmania ranked first, five-star praise!"

"The location was so close to Port Arthur Historic Site. We had an early night after having dinner there as they have a bar and restaurant on site. Dinner was good, service was great. Food came within 30 to 45 minutes wait time. We needed to use the laundry service onsite, and the cost of 4 x $1 coin to operate washer and same price for tumble dryer. There was not enough site parking near our room so we had to go right to the end and park at overflow parking. Internet wifi was available but very slow. The shower was a very tight space with a shower curtain enclosure. Toiletries like hair shampoo, soap bar, body wash and conditioner were supplied. Beds and towels were all clean and up to standards. Great for a one night stay for family."

"Flotsam is well furnished property with a good view of the sea. All you need for a good night's rest. Location is slightly out of the way but a short drive 5 minute from Dunalley. A small kitchen is available if you need to cook."
