"We were driving to Hainan with our two kids and chose Yangshuo as a stopover. We booked this highly-rated hotel last minute, and it was such a pleasant surprise! We immediately extended our stay for another night! The hotel is right opposite the entrance to West Street, which is incredibly convenient for food and shopping. We also had a fantastic dinner on the ninth floor – the restaurant's food was excellent! A special thank you to the young lady at the front desk; she was so kind and responsible. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Yangshuo!"

"This place offers great view of the ten mile gallery. Breakfast & high tea provided with night deserts daily. It would be great if the menu are different daily. Transfer is provided within the 5km but only selected place designated by the hotel only it would be great if they provide transfer to and from hotel as they have many cars available. Unfortunately, they were shot of drivers. Within the radius of their amenities, e-bikes are easily rented. Last but not least, free photoshoot by their professional photographer Jia Jia was nice. Thank you."

"The room offers a fantastic view; you just open the curtains to an unbeatable mountain panorama. It's perfect for families traveling with children. The hotel has a large outdoor pool in its courtyard. While the kids swam, we adults enjoyed coffee and the view nearby—truly a relaxed way to entertain the kids. There are also plenty of picturesque spots around the hotel; every photo turns out stunning. The room also features smart home controls, and my child quickly learned to use them to open/close the curtains and adjust the AC. The bedding was very clean, and every corner of the room was spotless, making for a comfortable and peaceful stay. The hotel is located within the Ten-Mile Gallery scenic area; it's just a 700-meter walk from the hotel. The bamboo rafting pier is about a ten-minute bike ride away. The hotel also provides a car service to West Street. So, not only is the hotel conveniently located, but the service is exceptionally thoughtful. Upon check-in, we received complimentary welcome fruits and afternoon tea. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave!"

"Staying at this hotel was a fantastic experience. The room was spacious and bright, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were warm and attentive, always quick to resolve any issues I encountered. The breakfast spread was rich and varied, satisfying all my culinary preferences. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation and plenty of amenities nearby. "After browsing dozens of guesthouses on the platform, we finally settled on ShanShui BieYuan Guesthouse. I read a lot of reviews before making a decision, and while there were good and bad ones, I can confirm it's truly worth it! Our family trip found this place to be excellent value for money. There's so much for kids to do: they can try 'Touhu' (pitch-pot game), make lacquer fans – my child was so proud of their handmade fan! The calligraphy experience, writing blessings, was also a nice touch. They also offer Hanfu, Qipao, and Guangxi Zhuang ethnic costume experiences. The room size was just right for us, feeling very cozy and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean, every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail truly showed they care for their guests. From the front desk manager to the auntie who cooks breakfast, everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us and asking how we were. The courtyard is super photogenic, and there's a small boat you can paddle. You can spend a whole day just feeding and catching fish in the courtyard. We relaxed on the tea table on the second floor, letting the kids play freely – it was so relaxing! Just sipping tea and reading a book made for a perfect holiday. The day we checked in, there was even a teacher hired to teach many foreigners traditional Chinese crafts, which was very cool and authentic. Both older guests like us and the foreigners really enjoyed the traditional Chinese style. The hotel has a very large parking lot, complete with charging stations. Next to the parking lot is a lawn where you can play, swing on a swing, or even camp. It's super convenient for sightseeing: a 15-minute drive to Qian Gu Qing Scenic Area and the Liu Sanjie performance theater, and only 20 minutes to Ruyi Peak Scenic Area and Silver Rock Cave. Didi (ride-hailing) cars are readily available and pick you up right at the entrance. The hotel is also just 170 meters from the Qing'e Ferry Pier rafting point. Electric bikes are available for rent at the hotel entrance – 30 yuan a day in low season, 50 yuan for half a day in high season. Renting one lets you cycle to the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River Scenic Area in just 5 minutes. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were delicious and chewy, very clean and hygienic – I had two bowls! They also had dumplings, congee, corn, sweet potatoes, soy milk, steamed buns, and some pickled vegetables. I was incredibly satisfied and full! We'll definitely come back next time; my child had such a memorable time they didn't want to leave. "Our stay at Fadai was simply wonderful and one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to China. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful settings for photography, surrounded by stunning mountains and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are extremely spacious and feature a huge bathtub facing the views, allowing you to relax while enjoying the magnificent scenery. It was truly unforgettable. What made our stay even more special was the incredible staff. Everyone was exceptionally kind and always willing to help. They even went out of their way at 10:00 p.m. to find vegetarian food for us, making sure we had dinner despite the late hour. The staff also helped us organize our visit to the local show and made sure we arrived on time. In my opinion, it was the best show I have ever seen in my life. One of the most unique experiences offered by the hotel is the traditional Chinese photo session. The hotel provides three complimentary photos and has several beautiful settings within the property where guests can dress as women from ancient China. The staff help with the traditional costumes, makeup, and poses to ensure the photos turn out beautifully. The results are absolutely stunning. The mountain scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop and leaves you with incredible memories. Our experience at Fadai was truly exceptional, and we recommend this hotel 100%. The location is breathtaking, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the staff are genuinely warm and caring. "I chose Yangshuo Manyun Hotel based on my research, and my experience far exceeded expectations. The location is right next to the Yulong River Shui'erdi pier, so you can walk to take a bamboo raft, which makes sightseeing incredibly convenient. The Chinese courtyard is serene and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the karst mountains. A bath in the mountain-view tub was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The infinity pool is perfect for stunning photos with the mountain scenery in the background. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic and came with plenty of toppings. The butler was attentive and reliable, proactively helping with luggage and planning routes to avoid crowds. They also assisted with car rentals and ticket bookings. The attention to detail was impressive, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Yangshuo."

"Traveling to Yangshuo with my child, I compared many hotels before finally settling on this Rice Field Hotel, and I truly felt I made the right choice! The distance from West Street actually became an advantage. It's quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all, offering great privacy. Looking out, all you see are rice fields and small mountains – the view is incredibly soothing. The room has a large floor-to-ceiling window, so you can enjoy the mountain and river views right from your bed. I absolutely loved the scenic bathtub in the bathroom; a bath at night with a gentle breeze was so relaxing. The cleanliness was impeccable; there wasn't a speck of dust on the floor or in the corners of the bed. The bed was super soft, ensuring both adults and children slept soundly. Families with kids, just go for it! The hotel has an infinity pool with a shallow area, and my child splashed around there all afternoon and didn't want to leave. There's also a mirrored observation deck on the rooftop, perfect for spontaneous, picture-perfect family photos. Just a few steps outside are vast rice fields and a charming old-fashioned miniature train. Taking the kids to walk along the field paths and look at the greenery, getting close to nature, was much more enjoyable than visiting crowded tourist spots. The butler was very helpful and responsive; they'd come right away if we needed anything. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were authentic and delicious. Overall, our entire stay was comfortable and worry-free. No need to rush around or deal with travel hassles. If you want a quiet and relaxing vacation with your child, this place is a no-brainer! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yangshuo."

"This villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier. I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience! And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!"

"This hotel is very nice in terms of amenities (comfy beds, huge shower, big bathtub, AC, mini fridge). Room is very clean and aesthetically pleasing and the hotel is facing a smaller private road so it’s quieter. Still, I wish I opted for a room on the higher floors since at night some mopeds or pedestrians can be quite loud and wake you up if you’re a light sleeper. There is also some sort of construction work ongoing on the buildings on that road but we only heard some occasional sounds in the day. The tea provided was very good and the location was very convenient, close to convenience stores and many restaurants - we got Didis to important touristic spots then rented bikes. The owner was very attentive and even gave us a free breakfast on their 6th floor, which was pretty diverse! Him and his team also helped us with our laundry even though they didn’t have an official laundry room and gave us water for our onwards journey!"
