"Everything from the accomodation to the view, the service and the food were excellent! Would say that Liangsu Shewang Honglvpai Hotel (Yangshuo Shili Gallery Yulong River Branch) exceeds 5 star hotels in certain aspects. The service team is so helpful, delivering takeouts straight to our room, and even booked a DiDi for us when we were facing an issue with the app. Our photographer Xiao Mo took some really lovely photos of me and my fiancee (not shown here, but the photos you see online are true to it!) Would highly recommend spending a night or 2 here when you are in Yangshuo. For the level of service and quality, they are actually really value for money!"

"A truly amazing stay! Living here felt like stepping into a painting - the location offers a fantastic view in the midst of the Karst mountains and is right next to 遇龙河. It was very convenient to go rafting down the river and a short driver away from 西街. The amenities are fantastic - everyday there's complement noodle breakfast and the option between afternoon tea and cocktails at the bar at night. The host is also amicable and has fantastic local hiking spot and food recommendations! There's also a pool and free laundry😃"

"Honestly! This guesthouse in Yangshuo truly captured my heart 🌾. It's nestled deep within the rice fields of the Ten-Mile Gallery, surrounded by mountains, making for an incredibly peaceful environment. Away from the bustling crowds of the city, with endless pastoral landscapes and mountains, it's incredibly relaxing and destressing. The infinity pool offers breathtaking views directly overlooking the rice paddies and mountains, perfect for amazing photos. The overall decor is simple and comfortable, and the rooms have large floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views, so you can enjoy the mountains and rice fields right from your bed. The service is also very attentive, and the overall stay experience was excellent. "After browsing dozens of guesthouses on the platform, we finally settled on ShanShui BieYuan Guesthouse. I read a lot of reviews before making a decision, and while there were good and bad ones, I can confirm it's truly worth it! Our family trip found this place to be excellent value for money. There's so much for kids to do: they can try 'Touhu' (pitch-pot game), make lacquer fans – my child was so proud of their handmade fan! The calligraphy experience, writing blessings, was also a nice touch. They also offer Hanfu, Qipao, and Guangxi Zhuang ethnic costume experiences. The room size was just right for us, feeling very cozy and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean, every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail truly showed they care for their guests. From the front desk manager to the auntie who cooks breakfast, everyone was incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us and asking how we were. The courtyard is super photogenic, and there's a small boat you can paddle. You can spend a whole day just feeding and catching fish in the courtyard. We relaxed on the tea table on the second floor, letting the kids play freely – it was so relaxing! Just sipping tea and reading a book made for a perfect holiday. The day we checked in, there was even a teacher hired to teach many foreigners traditional Chinese crafts, which was very cool and authentic. Both older guests like us and the foreigners really enjoyed the traditional Chinese style. The hotel has a very large parking lot, complete with charging stations. Next to the parking lot is a lawn where you can play, swing on a swing, or even camp. It's super convenient for sightseeing: a 15-minute drive to Qian Gu Qing Scenic Area and the Liu Sanjie performance theater, and only 20 minutes to Ruyi Peak Scenic Area and Silver Rock Cave. Didi (ride-hailing) cars are readily available and pick you up right at the entrance. The hotel is also just 170 meters from the Qing'e Ferry Pier rafting point. Electric bikes are available for rent at the hotel entrance – 30 yuan a day in low season, 50 yuan for half a day in high season. Renting one lets you cycle to the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River Scenic Area in just 5 minutes. The Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were delicious and chewy, very clean and hygienic – I had two bowls! They also had dumplings, congee, corn, sweet potatoes, soy milk, steamed buns, and some pickled vegetables. I was incredibly satisfied and full! We'll definitely come back next time; my child had such a memorable time they didn't want to leave. "This was the best hotel we stayed in yet! They were very nice and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. They even upgraded our room for free and provided us with lots of amenities. Toilets were also very futuristic 😮💨🔥. Bed was very comfortable and the curtains were remote control."

"Came here specifically for the Instagram-worthy white pool, and it truly is beautiful and great for photos! If you're bringing kids, I recommend the family castle room; my little one absolutely loved it! The room decor is super cozy, and a bath in the room at night was so relaxing. There's even a slide inside, so the kids can play while I enjoy afternoon tea. It's conveniently located near West Street and the Yulong River. In the evening, they thoughtfully prepared a self-service selection of bedtime desserts and mung bean porridge – perfect for families with kids like us! Oh, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles – absolutely amazing!"

"Our family usually opts for high-end luxury hotels when traveling, so we're quite particular about accommodations. Choosing a B&B in a scenic area can often be a headache, but our stay at 'Fadai Hotel' this time felt completely worth it. Its great location, elegant environment, excellent facilities, and attentive service thoroughly changed my preconceived notions about B&Bs. I was a bit worried after seeing some negative reviews on Trip.com, but the actual experience far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the scenic area, making getting around incredibly convenient. While it might not directly compare to international five-star luxury brands, the grounds, amenities, and maintenance are outstanding. The design is exquisite, the views are beautiful, and the comfort level more than justifies the price. The rooms are clean and tidy; rooms on the second floor and above offer better views and ample light, with comfortable bedding and complete amenities. The ground floor can be a bit damp, so I recommend choosing a higher floor if possible. Overall, by my standards for travel accommodations, this place is definitely above my acceptable benchmark and is highly recommended."

"This was the first hotel we stayed at in Yangshuo. While it's not in the most bustling area, the surroundings are wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The hotel's design and decor are excellent, and the overall environment is fantastic. The room layout was great, and the space was very generous. It even came with amenities like a washing machine, and the bathroom and sink area had a convenient wet/dry separation. Plus, there's a lovely little balcony, which was a nice touch. The hotel service was also very good, and they offered a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service. To top it off, we enjoyed breakfast and afternoon tea the next morning, which was a real bonus."

"I booked the Alina room type for two nights in advance for the May Day holiday. After checking into the Marshmallow Hotel, I entered the room and immediately noticed a strong smoke smell. I was traveling with my child, and a smoky room was completely uninhabitable and bad for kids. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a different room of the same type, but the hotel said they didn't have any available. Normally, in such a situation, they would offer a free upgrade. Ultimately, the hotel suggested an upgrade with an additional charge. Considering it was a May Day holiday and rooms were scarce, a paid upgrade was understandable, so I agreed. We were then upgraded to the 'Urunsemu Cave Secret King Suite,' and for this, I must commend the hotel! The room was incredibly spacious, allowing my child to run around and play freely, with plenty of room to move. It was very comfortable. The only drawback was on the night of May 2nd, Yangshuo experienced a heavy downpour, and the drainage pipe in the room made a very loud noise all night long, indicating that the hotel's soundproofing was a bit lacking. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the upgraded room type. Aside from the smoke smell and minor soundproofing issues, everything else was fine, and the overall experience of staying with a child was decent."

"The hotel is located in the mountains, and the upside is that opening the window to a mountain view is very healing. However, the downside is that transportation is quite inconvenient. It's about 3 kilometers to town for meals, and you either have to take a taxi or rent an electric scooter for 30 yuan a day. The breakfast at this price point was the worst I've ever had – pitifully few options, not even any meat... The sliced bread didn't even come with butter... And the coffee was terrible (they claimed to offer various coffees all day, but in the afternoon there was no milk, so essentially only Americano was available 😅). It's worse than an economy hotel like Home Inn, what a mess! 😓 The butler service via WeChat was decent, but the housekeeping... On the first day, they completely missed cleaning the room, even though we had requested it. What's even crazier is that I saw staff enter the room before we left, and it turned out to be maintenance changing a socket (why wasn't this done before check-in, and without any heads-up? 😅)."
