"I accidentally booked this hotel, and it was all a surprise. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, and it was especially quiet at night. Breakfast was actually a la carte, with both Chinese and Western food. It was delicious and the girl at the front desk was very attentive. I will definitely go there again if I have the chance."
"Transportation: Travel is very convenient, taxi will soon have a master to pick you up.
Facilities: The hotel is getting better and better now. Her house can drink tea or coffee. It is very Pu'er 👍
Environment: The overall atmosphere is relatively large, the indoor disinfection work is done very well, clean and tidy.
Service: The waiter was very good, and took the initiative to help us with our luggage and patiently answered my questions.
Surrounding: There is a place to eat opposite the downstairs, next to the hospital 🏥, it is very convenient to buy things."
"Although this manor is in the mountains, you should pay attention to the mountain road when driving, but the road is still well repaired, and everyone who comes to the car will be polite. When you arrive at the manor, you completely feel that these journeys are very worthwhile. The air is fresh and natural after the pleasant scenery. Originally thought the child would be overwhelmed, but he soon fell in love with the space, nature and freedom. The owner also greeted thoughtfully, eating delicious and healthy! The owner also taught us to make tea and taste tea. The tea here is grown in the tea garden, fried, sun, to make cakes is also responsible for this village!
Next time we will bring friends!"

"A happy date with my bestie. We came down from Jingmai Mountain and took a rest in Jinghong for one night. We arrived late, but it did not affect the service provided by the hotel at all. We were directly upgraded to a room type for free. The room was clean and tidy, with a clothes organizer, which was very convenient for bringing children. The toiletries used were also good. The housekeeper was very considerate and sent us a dessert of brown sugar lotus seed soup in the evening. There were two choices for breakfast. My bestie and I each chose one. The taste was good and the quantity was sufficient. The first floor of the hotel has a good sense of design. I did not take photos because of the bad weather. Being able to stay in this hotel here brought a touch of comfort to our travel. I recommend it."
"The villa is located on the hillside of Pu'er Tea Mountain. The terrace is picturesque. Surrounding it are Pu'er Five Lakes Wetland Park, Meizihu Park, a first-class drinking water source, and Pu'er Tea Town... The catering services provided by the villa are all pollution-free vegetables grown by the villa and free-range chickens. The proprietress is hospitable, diligent and efficient, and is responsible for the hygiene and catering of the villa inside and outside. The owner designed, built and decorated the villa all by himself, and paid much attention to many details. Complete facilities, clean and tidy, reasonable prices, and home-cooked meals. Suitable for long-term stay in the north during winter. In short, I like it very much and it is a very happy stay!"
"The room was much bigger than expected, and it was so clean that you could roll around on the floor. It was made of straw mats and was very quiet. At first glance, the boss loves cleanliness and pays attention to hygiene. The entire house, the living room and the garden are kept spotless. It's a pity that we only arranged one day's itinerary in Pu'er, otherwise I really wanted to stay longer. I plan to come to Yunnan again around the Chinese New Year and stay here for a few more days to fully appreciate the beauty of this house!
Another note: I really like these cute little things in the boss’s garden. I feel better after reading them!"
"When I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made.
The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car.
When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff.
The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion.
This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time!
One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay.
Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again."

Excellent
GGuest UserFacilities: Complete, the check-in experience is great.
Hygiene: Clean and comfortable, the restaurant dishes are delicious and hygienic.
Environment: Next to the Party School in Simao District, the environment is very good, the transportation is convenient, and it is relatively quiet at night near the road.
Service: I have to praise the service. I didn't expect to enjoy such high-quality service in Pu'er, a small city. The service staff is very enthusiastic. There are free fruits, snacks, afternoon tea, drinking water, and popsicles in the lobby. I arrived at noon and went to the restaurant for dinner. I wanted to drink Pu'er vinegar. The staff said that this was only available for breakfast, but if I wanted to drink it, he could go to the kitchen and pour me a cup. I was very touched by this little detail👍👍. I checked out on the morning of the 20th. The front desk staff said that the weather was getting colder these days and gave me two bottles of warm drinking water. It made me feel warm in my heart. It was great. I will recommend friends to stay at Deting in the future. 👍👍
SShenjiongjiongLocation: Although it is not in the central city, it is only more than ten minutes by car. It is very convenient~
Room: The twin room I booked has a lot of space and the bedding is also very good! The toilet is separated into dry and wet areas~ The TV is also very large~ Xiaodu voice control is very good
Breakfast: On the second floor, the rice noodles are delicious!
Laundry: The elevator is on the 8th floor. Go one floor to the 9th floor to wash clothes. There are three washing machines with lifting hangers! Don't worry if there is no drying function. Pu'er is quite dry. Wash it at night and it will be dry in the morning! The layout of this floor of the laundry building is very good!
Service: The sisters at the front desk are very enthusiastic. As soon as they arrived, they started to help with the luggage! They smiled very sweetly! And there is a WeChat customer service function. If you need anything, you can say it on WeChat and respond quickly! Very good! After adding the service account, there are travel tips! The recommended food and travel routes are all on it! It is very helpful for us who have a bad memory!
The only shortcoming: Our room faces the opposite No. 6 Middle School. The morning exercises are a bit early, and we are passively woken up~ For those who wake up early, you can completely ignore it. Friends who want to sleep in are better to have a room that is not facing the road~
SShuangyeMy self-driving friend in Pu'er, Yunnan, introduced me to a hotel I booked online. Pu'er Xinpu Smart Hotel did not disappoint me. It's really good. The beauty at the front desk provided good service. The room was clean and tidy. The floor attendants worked carefully and the room was kept spotless. The hotel waiters met I will take the initiative to say hello to you! The hotel has its own parking lot in the backyard, as well as an underground parking lot. I didn't go underground, so I parked on the ground every day when I came back. The breakfast room is large and bright. There are many kinds of meals, and they are different every day. It can be seen that they are thoughtful. I stayed in the hotel for two days and felt very good. It was a satisfactory stay. High praise! If you are going to Pu'er, Yunnan, you can stay here with confidence.
GGuest UserOriginally, i booked only 1 night, with the intention of going onwards to Laos the next day. But i stayed a 2nd night because the room was spacious and the view out of the window was so restful.
About the room, I like it that there is a desk i could work from. And that the shower and WC areas are divided by a screen.
For the 2nd day, my room was refreshed with used toiletries replenished and towels changed. I wish the guesthouse would implement a system where guests are able to indicate if they wish to use the same towels. I am pro-environment, so if i don't change my towels everyday at home, i don't see the need to do so when i am away.
I also like the location as it was easy for me to catch Bus Route 3 to a nearby shopping area (i had KFC breakfast there), cross the road to take Bus Route 8 to Meizi Lake Park. I spent about 3 hours there, including enjoying coffee and cake in the cafe near the entrance to the park. (My biggest regard was i did not get to drink even 1 cup of Pu'er tea while in Pu'er :))
After that I back tracked on Bus Route 8 to change to Bus Route 3 to visit the Tea Horse Ancient City. Then after, I took Bus Route 3 to the shopping centre, had dinner and shopped at Walmart, before catching Bus Route 3 back to the guesthouse.
There is a walking/running track just across the road from the guesthouse. Forget about going the full length of the track. Once you see a slope on the right side, walk up there. You will get a nice viewpoint and there is a nice cafe there. If the weather is right, you get to see sunrise too! I went in the morning, the cafe was closed, so did not patronise the place. Had I known about this cafe, i would have gone there on the 1st day. Perhaps the guesthouse operator could do up a map with information of easily assessible places of interest. This could result in longer stays for free and easy travellers.
Pu'er is a well planned town/city. I like it and will recommend others to spend some time there. Most importantly, do stay at this guesthouse. The surrounding tea plantations will recharge you!
VVeraForeign friends: don't stay here. The worst experience I've ever had trying to check in - and I've travelled to many remote places in Yunnan over the past six years.
Staff has no clue about rules and regulations, even though I showed them the most up to date rules for foreigners travelling in China.
They tried to stop me from leaving the hotel because they couldn't figure out how to check me in, even though I was very hungry and tired and wanted to eat and go to bed early.
They came to my room at 10pm but still couldn't figure out how to check me in.
And here is the worst: at 8am the manager opened the door of my room and walked in without knocking. There was no inside lock or chain. Luckily I wasn't in the shower.
Awful place that made me feel extremely unwelcome as a foreigner. They made me feel like a criminal because of their incompetence and stupid actions. Very different from most places where staff is helpful even if it's a bit more complicated.
MMiaojiebadaohengNavigation is to, underground parking lot, elevator directly to the floor
There will be staff to pick up the phone and help with luggage 🧳
And parking is free
The room is large and very clean
The bed is also very comfortable
We stayed for another day.
Watch the staff clean and change the bedding in one room
And with 84 disinfection, the smell can be smelled
Live at ease
Because in the commercial district
Downstairs is the night market
There was an activity downstairs when we came
A little noisy
But it's quiet after it's done.
Eating is very convenient and not very expensive
But unfortunately, I met the ”neighbor” with the nerve strip upstairs.
I don't know if I move the bed or pull the chair at three or four in the middle of the night.
We woke up the couple.
Don't be too upset
Then reacted to the store
We changed the room when we continued our stay
Still very good
Very good value for money
GGuest UserThanks to the boss and his wife for their warm hospitality! Absolutely underestimated inn, one of the best locations in Jingmai Mountain to see the sea of clouds. Parking in the courtyard is convenient, unlike the village of Tenggan and Wengji cars. The room is large and the facilities are good. The boss and his wife are very real, the breakfast rice noodles are delicious, and the tea is delicious. Personal experience, the most amazing landscape of Jingmai Mountain is the sea of clouds. On the contrary, the ancient village feels ordinary when you see more, and the cherry blossoms on the road are not bad. Living in Sakamoto to see the sea of clouds is a good choice. It is really beautiful to go to the ancient village to check in during the day. The sea of clouds is really beautiful. It is worth visiting once. I get up for two consecutive days to watch the sunrise of the sea of clouds. It is as beautiful as a fairyland. It is absolutely shocking.
HHaraldThis hotel is well suited to provide you with a quite relaxing weekend. It is perfect to experience the cases of clouds in the fall/winter. Unfortunately it is a bit outside of town which requires some efforts to get a taxi but it is not impossible. The small cottages are well designed and very clean. Being located in a tea plantation gives some extract nice experience. On the downside being out of the town pushes you to depend very much on the services provided by the hotel. Breakfast is to expensive given the food diversity and quality provided. The same applies to the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The hotel has been equipped with a very nice setup bar but this one is only open in the afternoon but not in the evening. In general the staff are well trained and friendly. In short i recommend the place for a short relaxation weekend
EEnglish RoseHuanongli Hotel (also known as Pastoral Hotel in English) is a beautiful little oasis in the bustling city of Pu’er! Remarkably situated on the rooftop of a historic warehouse or market building, it has been thoughtfully and tastefully designed - and is a lovely place to stay. The hotel is only a stone’s throw from the fascinating Daijia Alley, where some of the oldest buildings in Pu’er can be found - and is also within walking distance of the Tea Celebrities Garden and other landmarks. You can easily take a taxi to the Ancient Tea Horse Road. Our room was really delightful and included a pretty waterside decking area with outdoor furniture. Staff were extremely polite and helpful and breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would HIGHLY recommend this hotel if you are planning to stay in Pu’er.
GGuest UserIf you're a coffee lover and looking for a cozy, clean and atmospheric hotel with interesting tours to coffee and tea plantations, then this hotel is a perfect match for you.
From the moment you walk in, the coffee thematic is immediately apparent, with coffee beans and coffee-related artwork tastefully integrated into the decor. The atmosphere is amazing, with a warm and welcoming vibe that instantly puts you at ease. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions you may have.
The rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber.
But what really sets this hotel apart are the tours to the coffee and tea plantations. These tours provide a unique opportunity to learn about the history and production of coffee and tea, as well as to taste some of the best blends in the world. The tours are led by knowledgeable guides who are passionate about their craft and eager to share their knowledge with guests.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who loves coffee, wants to learn more about the production process, or simply wants to relax in a clean and cozy environment with a great atmosphere.
