"Great service . They are always friendly and helpful.
Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels .
And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money.
Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel.
But for sure I will go back there"
"Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable.
The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day.
We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better:
1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in.
2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient.
3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together.
4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. We’ll definitely be recommending your resort to our family and friends — 100% love and appreciation from us to all of you!"
"Our stay at Badladz Beach and dive resort was amazing. From the moment we arrived till our departure. We stayed there for 5 wonderful days.
We had initially booked a room and when we got there decided to upgrade to a fully furnished condo. Which was excellent choice, the staff was really helpful and assisted us with all our requests. The cleanliness of the resort and rooms was satisfactory, the food was well prepared and delicious Kudos to the Chef, we did eat outside however i personally did not find the food a enjoyable as at the resort. They gave us great tips about where to go for activities such as Jet Ski, parasailing and snorkeling. People on the island are friendly and helpful. The tricycle rides are 50 pesos, they have fix rates for rides and activities at Minolo Port. One of the things i liked is the water was more clear and less dep at Badladz Resort compared to White Beach. For kids is better and more fun. We recommend this resort for friends, family and for hosting events, It is the right place to enjoy your stay while in Puerto Galera."
"The hotel is located halfway up the mountain. Every time I go back to get something, I have to climb up a lot of hills and stairs. It's a kind of exercise! But the scenery above is good, and you can see the fireworks on the beach without any cover during New Year's Eve!
The service staff are very friendly and will proactively ask you about your needs. The meals are also pretty good! However, although it has been repainted, the facilities are still a bit old..."
"We stayed in this hotel for a week. Since we got into a typhoon and couldn't get on the day of the booking, we had to come later. The Eva administrator had no problems with the dates. All told what to do on the island and what places we can visit. Always been on contact and answered any questions.
If you are looking for a budget hotel with a sea view, it is just that option."
"This is a newly renovated hotel. The first floor is the 711 supermarket, which is very convenient. The second floor is the hotel's KTV and bar counter, and the third floor is the hotel's guest rooms. Sabang is very small, and the hotel is close to both the dock and the dive shop. After each dive, you can return to the hotel to freshen up and rest. The hotel is equipped with security and surveillance, and there is a safe in the room, which provides security for every customer, especially when you need to keep valuable items such as cash in the safe, which will be very safe. The hotel staff have a good service attitude and will help guests solve any problems. PG is a diving paradise, I will come here again next time.

GGuest UserNew hotel with quality services
Charming and very helpful staff
Belle piscine
Bathroom towels and free shuttle service for the beach
Less than 10 minutes walk from the seaside restaurants and the white beach
I strongly recommend this hotel
GGuest UserAbsolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly. They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue.
Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs.

GGuest UserIn a bay, quiet, with just the right amount of waves.
There is a private beach, quiet, children can play all day.
Snorkeling is available as soon as you enter the water, the water is clear, and there are many colorful fish.
The boss's cooking skills are amazing, and the coconut chicken soup is endless.
Bring your friends and come on a vacation, it's really fun.
MMateja BokanThis is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!
HHera SzExcellent facilities if you book à ocean view room. Room is spacious and comfortable and the view is stunning .
Negative point is the other customers arriving drunk at midnight with their “comforts” screaming and making lots of noise in the balcony and corridor .
During Check-in the staff had a bit of trouble as we canceled the previous reservation of standard room and upgraded to Ocean View and we had to insist and show the voucher that we had an Ocean View . Shower box was missing a door and because of that the Water would go all over the toilet .
***** Bring your own toiletries .
Staff was kind and friendly and the swimming pool is very nice .
I didn’t try breakfast but lunch was good at the restaurant attached to the hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel was built very interestingly, like a medieval castle. There is a swimming pool on site, and sometimes in the evenings there is live music playing around it. The rooms have natural wood furniture and luxurious four-poster beds. The air conditioner worked properly. The restaurant has delicious food and a 20% discount for hotel guests. The hotel is not located on the shore, but close, in a convenient location in the center. Among the shortcomings: there was not always hot water, the safe in the room did not work. Some rooms are located high up, it is difficult to climb the stairs to them, there is no elevator. A very good option for your money.
LLunate sigmaHonest Review
Pros:
- The lady who was in charge (We think she's the manager) is really nice and helpful.
- Distance: THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE DEAL. Hotel is near the beach and most of the local restaurants so we didn't experience any problem. (I recommend the cafe and 'Terminal' near the beach 😊)
- AC and the room was perfect. It was really hot outside and the temp plus the room felt really homey and comfy
- The hotel was really pretty or what we call aesthetic. My baby really liked the designs
- Free breakfast and coffee was a good deal, but don't expect too much.
- How much we got the reservation for 3d2n. Great offer from this app :)
- Staff are nice especially the ones in the restaurant. Wasn't able to ask her name but she was a waiter there and also served our food (afternoon) and the guy who was at the front desk when we checked out
Cons:
- Service fee. I do understand that this is necessary to support the staff, but if you are on a tight budget it might be better to eat outside (sorry...)
- Food was too expensive for the quality and the quantity... I recommend the chicken inasal since it had a big portion.
- Room service and cleanliness - Manager said we could ask for a room service and we could just call them of we need one. We called them on our second day and we waited until our stay ended but no onr came to clean 😅 The girl who answered the phone was kinda masungit or maybe it was the tone of her voice. She told me that they are quiet busy at the moment and told me to just wait - I do understand if they're short staffed or something? But the dirt was kinda bothering us already so we just tried to clean the room on our own
- Cockroaches and ants. So in connection to my previous review... Yes, there are cockroaches in the room especially the bathroom. It doesn't help that they don't clean the rooms daily.
- Breakfast is not a room service. You have to go down to the restaurant and eat it there.
- Room view. Our room was in the corner of the hotel. Our view was okay because we are can view the pool... And our neighbors ac unit lmao. On the plus side since the units were emitting hot air, it was easier for us to dry our towels 😂 It was really different from the picture.
- Pool was kinda dirty
- Overpriced goods. They have a mini store in the hotel but it would be better to pack up snacks or drinks before coming here.
- OUTSIDE FOOD ARE NOT ALLOWED. Better be careful when bringing meals in the hotel.
Even after listing this, we would still love to come back and stay here. I do hope they give us a better room next time 😅
AaldenZhaoCost-effective, cheap during the May Day holiday. Internal hygiene is good, towels and other supplies are dehaired, toothpaste, toothbrush and shampoo are charged, it is best to bring your own. Very close to the beach, 3 minutes walk, there are many diving clubs next to it. Surrounding dining is also OK, Korean restaurants are not bad.
