Lovely little place very near to the airport. Staff were friendly and accommodated breakfast before our early checkout. The pool was a great little place to relax. The courtyard was beautiful. Room fixtures were a bit dated but functional. Would come again!
Wow, this place is truly magical. We really enjoyed every single moment of our journey here. We actually stayed at this resort for 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. Staff were always super helpful, kind and very polite from the very beginning. The food and drinks here are amazing. The view from our room was super beautiful. Do not hesitate to book at this resort. You won’t regret it at all. It’s completely worth it.
It was absolutely worth booking this hotel again for my family. We stayed in Villa 102, which had a stunning ocean view that made the experience even more special. The resort also has its own waterpark, where my family ended up spending most of our time. It was a fun and relaxing getaway, perfect for both kids and adults. Highly recommend this resort for families!

We wanted to experience the beauty of nature and be close to the underground river tour so we booked this place. This place is absolutely beautiful and everything here is organic. The breakfast is served on time in your villa and everything is freshly harvested and cooked for you. If you want peace, tranquility and the sound of nature then this is the perfect place for you and your loved ones. This place is 1.5 hours away from the airport but 7 minutes away from the underground river tour. It was well worth our stay and we will be back. The staff was absolutely helpful and did everything they could to accommodate us as our check in time was 2am. Thank you Sheridan Organic Farm
The food is great and the lounge area is quite awesome. But the hotel doesn't have a spacious parking area and is a little bit far from the city proper.
The treasure hotel overlooked by the domestic website, the scenery is very beautiful, google map is high rating, fortunately stayed for one night, few tourists, good service, big room, I want a big bed, there is actually a small bed. The small balcony faces the sea. The restaurant can enjoy the scenery while eating at the top, and you can also go to the covered bridge to take pictures. Very cost-effective.
Good base for short stays in puerto princesa. Fairly new, clean rooms, good shower bathrooms. Comfortable bed. 15 min tuk tuk from puerto princesa seafront. 10 min walk to modern robinson mall
Pros: checked in early, early in the morning. Great location, 5m to the shopping center, 10 minutes walk, 20 minutes from the airport. Cons: the bed linen before my check-in, it seems, was not changed, there is hair on the sheet and pillow, the towel is brown. There is no soap in the bathroom, only lukewarm water comes out of the tap. The single room is very small, it is impossible to sleep with the air conditioner on, it blows directly on the bed. There is no reception as such, I did not find anyone to voice all my questions to

GGuest UserThe experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there. The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)
YYuanweidie⚜️First of all: I am not very satisfied with this differential treatment. Before booking, I saw that it was free pick-up and drop-off, and I also saw that it was free pick-up and drop-off in the comments. I want to book the airport drop-off service in the morning! It is said that it will cost 800 pesos. Here, the airport is about two kilometers away from the hotel. I have lived in Manila for more than ten years, and the fare for two kilometers is less than 200 pesos. This is what I don’t like. I have stayed in many five-star hotels and four-star hotels on many islands, and there is no such charge. So in the end, I took the local tuk-tuk by myself! 150 pesos to the airport, within ten minutes.
The hotel is in a deep alley, and there is not much food around! The restaurant in the hotel charges a high fee, and you will get tired of it after two days. The swimming pool is very dirty, so there is no entertainment in the hotel. It is very boring. It is said that the hotel is by the sea, but the sea water cannot be played. It is simply a stinky ditch. Stand by and take a look!
The service is very good, and snacks are delivered every night! The water in the hotel is very unpalatable. I started to get sick on the day I went there, and I got better after I came back, but the thoughtful hotel waiter helped me find medicine!
There are not many types of breakfast. It looks hygienic and tastes good, but it's basically cold. Anyway, it fills your stomach!
Let's evaluate the entire Palawan Island! This is the worst place in the Philippines among the many islands I have visited. It is greedy and the consumption level is extremely high, even higher than Manila City. The hotel called a car for me and charged 750 pesos within 10 kilometers. I returned to Manila Airport today and it was 265 pesos within 10 kilometers. The commercialization is too serious and annoying. I never want to go to this place again. It's a serious rip-off! There is nothing fun!
JJiro YuanOur overnight stay at Citystate Asturias Hotel proved to be a delightful introduction to Puerto Princesa, offering a warm welcome and impeccable service from start to finish.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel after a long flight, we were greeted by an exceptional team of staff who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Despite the numerous bags we had in tow, every member of the staff, from the guard to the receptionist, eagerly assisted us, making us feel truly valued as guests. A special mention must be made for Henry at the Front Desk, whose hospitality and professionalism stood out during our stay. From arranging our airport transfer to facilitating our check-in and check-out, Henry's dedication to ensuring our needs were met was evident at every turn, making him a true asset to the hotel.
Entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by its cozy charm. While it may not boast the sleek modernity of newer establishments, the room offered everything we needed and more. The comfortable furnishings, coupled with thoughtful amenities, provided a relaxing haven after a day of travel.
One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary buffet breakfast offered at Citystate Asturias Hotel. With a wide array of options to choose from, ranging from local delicacies to international favorites, the breakfast spread exceeded our expectations in both variety and taste. It was a delightful start to our day, setting the tone for a memorable stay in Puerto Princesa.
Overall, our experience at Citystate Asturias Hotel was marked by exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delectable dining options. For anyone seeking a welcoming retreat in Puerto Princesa, this hotel comes highly recommended, thanks to its attentive staff, cozy rooms, and sumptuous breakfast offerings.
GGuest UserWe absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were very accommodating especially the receptionist. The room was very clean, spacious and provided everything we needed. Thank you so much. We will definitely be staying here again.
KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!
GGuest UserIt’s a great experience! We had a wonderful room and great service. We really enjoy the atmosphere and the villa type Field. The sunshine and the staff are wonderful! I’ll give this Hotel five 🌟 !!! we can’t wait to go back here
CCHESTER JAMES CHAN ONGService are just so-so , cause of airport transfer to hotel let us wait very long time but the staff are nice and good . Facilities are nice and good , but noisy at morning cause of under renovation . Food are standard , good and fair price we enjoy , the breakfast buffet are nice and good , but some waiter are quite lack of training to assist customers at buffet area and Italian resto .
CCarpe Diem JayMy stay here was okay. The location could be better, need 100-150 trike ride to get to stores, restaurants, etc instead of anything being in walking distance. Disappointing a place this big didn't offer food or dining. Probably the best part is the friendly staff at the front, ready and willing to help with anything and check on your well-being. And they do laundry at reasonable rates. The room bring advertised as ”pool view” was a bit misleading. It's just facing a bunch of plants, shrubs and trees and behind all that is the pool.
I cannot overstate this. The key is WAY too big. It's cartoonishly, inconveniently, ridiculously oversized. Hard to carry, hold, even use in the door if your hands are full. There's absolutely no reason for it to be this big. They say it's so people don't lose it but they ask you to leave the key with them when you leave anyways so...?? Y'all need to change that lol
TLDR Friendly staff, freakishly humongous annoying key
GGuest UserThere was something wrong with the water heater. Even at the lowest setting, the water was still very, very hot. I told the management, but he couldn't do anything.
There were spiders on the ceiling, spider webs on the curtains, ants on the table, and a piece of soap in the bathroom that was not cleaned up by the previous guest.
There is a swimming pool and garden outside, and the environment is pretty good. You get what you pay for.
Mmajgatz**Review of Microtel Hotel**
We recently stayed at Microtel Hotel, booking two rooms, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
The rooms were outdated, with dim lighting that made it hard to see. The shower controls were rusted, and even the tissue holders showed significant wear. We were surprised to find that there’s no in-house restaurant, and the breakfast offered was not worth the price.
Despite having a small number of guests, the breakfast options were limited to eggs, sausage, tocino, bread, rice, fruit slices, coffee, and juice. It took a long time for the staff to refill these items, and they weren’t even heated properly. To add to our frustration, my nephew, who is in grade 5, was charged as an adult because they don’t have a child rate.
The towels were also outdated, which contributed to the overall feeling of neglect in terms of maintenance.
On a positive note, the staff were welcoming and friendly, which was appreciated. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful, but it wasn't enough to make up for the lack of proper amenities and upkeep.
Overall, we left feeling that Microtel Hotel needs significant improvements to meet basic hospitality standards.
