"A good hotel, very large room, shower and jacuzzi, bring water, coffee, give a roast adapter. The vent was overwhelmed with insulation, right. The bathroom was both shampoo and air conditioner, still a bath foam. But there were no slippers, coats. Towels are small for some reason, they are small, but in general enough, every day changed.
Their restaurant (in the hotel) I don't recommend: pizza even more or less, and soup and pasta at all didn't like, and bad after it was. It is better to look at the nearest institution with a good rating and go there. Breakfast will go, not the most diverse, but you will not stay hungry."

"On the first day of check-in, I was a little disappointed that the front desk staff had a general attitude towards the room facilities. I was going to change the hotel the next day, but it was surprising that the front desk manager and the staff on duty that day reflected the pick-up fee for the hotel arrangement I mentioned earlier and gave a solution, which made me change the idea of changing the hotel. These were impressive."

"The place is very good, it feels very dangerous at night, the front desk is good, there is hair on the bed when you enter the door, it feels not very clean, there is a tramp at the door, the city is terrible after 7 pm, because I travel alone, so I changed places the next day."

OOliver LaoShadian Airport is very close. It only takes 5 minutes. The bus departs every 20 minutes. It is very convenient and fast. The driver is very diligent and helps carry luggage. However, it is very slow to check in at the hotel. It takes 20 minutes to queue to get into the room. I am very tired from flying. , and I’m hungry, so it’s really not good to wait too long. But the massage was very good! 👍The food is also good! 👍

CCarmyBreakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

GGuest UserThere was a leak in my bathroom that almost ruined my personal cleaning items. The room they gave me was in front of the stairs and it was always noisy with people talking loud. The bottom of the toilet was disgusting. The person that welcomed me was the only one I cold day was efficient. I left the hotel this morning when I was supposed to leave tomorrow. That is how bad I felt there.

That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

OoyaaaPaid airport shuttle per trip but they put someone else on difference flight/time together and let us wait/late 15mins without telling why. This is wrong. This problem should be fix easily by telling the day before and ask if we ok to wait another person. If pp miss the flight, i dont see this place will responsible for the air tickets and other costs. What if pp on biz class flight and miss the plane? Would hotel pay thousands dollars for customer?
Think about it and be Professional! Just use the Google translate and explain to customer before the day!!
Hot water got problem, half an hour to fixed.
