New couches and a spa pool were installed May 2022.This is the upper level to the Whale Bay Surf Bach (seperate listing). A outdoor shower is provided perfect for a wash off after the surf. The entire property is fully fenced making it the perfect place for kids. A trampoline is also onsite. Carparking: 1 carpark provided with plenty of street parking also.Whale Bay Surf House is the upper floor which sleeps up to 5 guests. Whale Bay Surf Bach is the ground floor which also can sleep up to 5 guests (seperate airbnb listing). There is no internal access between the floors. As the two floors are both airbnbs there will be a strict no noise policy after 10pm. The Moana Apartment at Koru Lodge is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment tucked by gorgeous native New Zealand bush, while just a few minutes walk to the surf. The apartment is part of Koru Lodge, a complex of 4 two bedroom apartments. It has two bedrooms, the downstairs bedroom has 2 singles, and the upstairs bedroom has a queen (and sea views!). It has a spacious open plan kitchen lounge area that opens up onto a private deck with bush views. You can walk to Whale Bay/Indicator surf breaks in about 6 minutes. The Whenua Apartment at Koru Lodge is a spacious, two-level apartment. The unit has a private deck with a spa pool and space for lounging, with views of the Tasman Sea. The layout of the first level has a beautiful open-living plan, with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. There's a queen size bedroom that opens up on to the deck, and a fully bathroom with a double head shower. The second level is made up of the second bedroom, also with a queen bed.The kitchen/dining/lounge area opens up onto the deck with bi-folding doors so you can really bring the outside in.The unit has a heat pump to keep you warm on the cool wintery nights and a smart TV so you can connect to your favourite streaming platforms.You can walk to Whale Bay in 6 minutes to get your surf fix, and the drive to Raglan town is about 12 minutes. We are also surrounded by gorgeous native bush, and if you have a wonder around the property you might get lucky and find some trees fruiting.The Rua apartment is one of 4 apartments part of the same complex, all with similar layouts, but have private decks so it does feel like you have your own rental home. If you have more than 4 people, let us know and we can try to organise renting more than one of the apartments for your group.The owners, Bethany and Jaco, live on-site so if you need anything you can get in touch with them during your stay, but they also respect your privacy and can leave you to it.
