"This place was excellent value for money, -- spotlessly clean, very easy, and the most spacious and best-appointed room we had during our weeklong visit to Iceland, staying in different accommodation every night. Staff were very pleasant, the included breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and our room was the biggest one we had. Highly recommend this hotel/hostel."
"The room was spotless. While official check-in was at 2 PM, I was able to get into my room an hour early at 1 PM after a quick chat with the staff. One of the hotel's standout features is its fantastic location, being just an 8-minute walk from the airport. Super convenient!"
"Clean but very small room. Window was rusted and could not be fully closed. Would be nice to have a few more shelves/racks. Excellent early breakfast for early flights."
"Only 5min from airport by car. Hence, location wise, perfect for travellers who are departing on very early morning flights. Hotel has free shuttle to airport between 04:30-10:30, but no shuttle service from airport to hotel,. There are no shops or restsurants nearby, only rental companies. Buffet breakfadt is really good, at the Tokio Restaurant."
"The hotel is relatively close to the airport, so location itself is convenient. The room was spacious and with comfortable beds, though with fairly minimal amenities. Based on the room alone, it is acceptable for a short 1-night stay without much to ask for.
On the negatives, there is currently a renovation of the hotel entrance is ongoing. No information was provided to us in advance nor is it mentioned in their website, which is misleading since an informed opinion cannot be made (given the ensuing issues on noise etc). Also due to the renovation, the reception area is rather stuffy and dark, since there is limited air circulation and natural light in the current temporary “reception” area.
Finally, the area immediately around the hotel up until the entrance is badly maintained, if at all, with garbage all over the place (from food containers to used condoms)."
"Room hygiene is OK, domestic quality, breakfast is average, there are few things, but tea, coffee and hot water are available all day, which is still very convenient. The location is 6 kilometers away from the airport and 20 kilometers away from the blue lake, which is very convenient After traveling around the island, take a break and leave by plane. When the hotel goes out, turn right and there is a Thai meal, which makes it more comfortable to eat. The room is not big, and the water for bathing and showering is relatively large. Easy parking. The hotel can sign up for various tourism projects and signed up for the Aurora Group. I was very lucky to see the 8-level Aurora, a small group, and a full-size SUV to pick up and drop off the store, which is very convenient and comfortable."
"The room is relatively large and has its own characteristics. There is almost no service. I booked this hotel because I saw that there is an airport shuttle bus. I mistakenly thought that the hotel has this service. I started calling after booking the hotel, but no one answered. Later, Ctrip customer service helped me contact the hotel, and they said there was no airport pick-up, only airport drop-off. After checking in, I found out that the shuttle bus is bus No. 55, which runs once an hour. It takes 13 minutes to walk to the hotel after getting off the bus. The hotel has a terrace hot spring, which is clean and empty. And you can see the erupting volcano while taking a bath."
"Location close to the airport, good value for money. The room is big and there is no problem with hygiene. There is parking space. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs. Overall, it can be ordered again. "
"Service was great! Checked in at midnight and receptionist waited for us! However room was slightly small for 3 pax. Didn’t go for breakfast as it was pricey and don’t have much variety"
"We stayed our last night and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice atmosphere, with a good breakfast. Upon our arrival we were able to relax in the outdoor jacuzzi and enjoyed a very pleasant conversation with Cristina who welcomed us and made us feel at home. We would not hesitate to stay again"

XXUEOriginally, I only switched to Iceland in order to catch up with the storm and cancel the flight. People at the airport queued at the airport counter to book the hotel. I feel that if I go down this way, I am afraid I have to play at the airport. So decisively on the Ctrip query, watching the surrounding areas of the airport less and less, I almost did not seriously compare, set the four-bed family suite in seconds. When the taxi came to me in the middle of the night, my heart was still very embarrassing, and I felt that I was driving to a remote village. The morning storm stopped, the curtains were opened, and the coast dam was actually seen. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but the room has a simple kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, tableware. I walked in less than ten minutes and there is a 24-hour small supermarket, buy some milk, bread, cheese, ham, plus a travel companion. Instant noodles, children can eat very well! Did not drive, so did not ask the waiter whether there is a parking lot. I like the public leisure area here, the high frosted transparent roof, very bright! Not far from the airport, it is very comfortable to stay temporarily.
GGuest UserThis hotel is very clean, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. It is situated on a little harbour and we had a nice room with a harbour view. There is a restaurant attached and the food was excellent. My only issue is that it is about a 10 min drive from the airport and the taxi ride one way was 42 euros which translated to $136 Canadian dollars round trip, that was a bit of a sticker shock for a 10 min ride (20 min total).
CChun yuen ChanThis hotel is the best I have ever stayed at! Service was excellent, staff friendly and professional. The room is very luxurious and comfortable, with all facilities. The food was of extremely high quality and every dish was stunning. The massage service at the spa completely relaxed me. The hotel is in a great location with stunning views. The entire stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel as an ideal choice whether traveling for business or leisure. I will definitely stay again!
GGuest UserThe room has a shared bathroom and pantry area.
- Room and bed ok The room is a bit small but sleeps comfortably. (but got to sleep for a short while because I had to get up quickly to catch the morning flight)
- When cooking, I tend to be considerate of other people. Because it also has a living area. Don't dare to cook food with strong smells.
- Shared bathrooms are few, but it's not a problem.
- The best part is being able to see the Northern Lights from the accommodation.
- Shuttle service to and from the airport is at 4500ISK/trip/1-4 people (information as of 22/9/2023)
GGuest UserBooked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.
