These are apar**ents in an old residential building within walking distance of the Vatican. There is an unpleasant smell in the corridor, something is wrong with the ventilation. Water from the sewer began to flow into the bathroom. I rushed to call all the phones, wrote in messenger, submitted photos and videos. For 1.5 hours, not only did no one come to help, but they simply didn’t even read my pleas for help. Water flowed from the bathtub into the room, soaking the suitcases packed for the trip. The child and the suitcase and I climbed onto the bed and called for help. There is no one at the entrance, neither the concierge nor the administrator. I ran around ringing the doorbell on the next floor, on the staircase, on the floor below, but no one opened it for me. Everywhere there were tourists like me, and they didn’t know anything and didn’t want to interfere. If it weren’t for the disgusting food smell at the entrance and the sewer blockage incident, life would have been normal. As a result, the administrator came to us, wiped the floor, and moved us to another room. Tomorrow it will be served on the roof. Everything is simple, but tasty and quite romantic. Wi-Fi drops out periodically. The bed linen is clean. The room is cleaned daily

The host of the hotel is very kind and enthusiastic. When we arrived at the hotel, he gave us a detailed introduction to the local attractions and recommended restaurants. The room is very bright and spacious. The overall layout feels like a vacation, and the facilities are complete. The only flaw is that there is a small stain on the sheet, but it is not a big problem. The whole is clean. There is also a kitchen in the hotel where people can make tea. The most surprising thing is the breakfast provided by the hotel. There is a rich breakfast, which is delicious and filling. Before leaving for the solar eclipse breakfast, the hotel staff also asked us if we would like her to take a photo with her. The service attitude is very good, and I would like to come again

We booked this hotel after reading reviews. The hotel is within walking distance of the Vatican. The room is spacious and clean, and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace is rich and delicious. The hotel owner and his wife were very friendly, attentive and helped us a lot. I will definitely choose it again next time I visit the Vatican!

Great place in Rome. This b&b has only 10 rooms, and offers an unique personalized experience. The host greats you every day for breakfast and helps you get the most out of your stay. It feels like a home away from home. The rooms are comfortable. The location is superb, just by the metro station but in an area that offers great restaurants that are better priced than at the other side of the river. Also very close on the Vatican. A great rooftop terrace where you get a great breakfast. This is nothing like a big hotel or resort but a small facility where you get a personal experience

Comfortable accommodation run by a friendly team. It is located on the top floor of a multi-purpose building which has an old-fashioned charm, as does the cosy lift that takes you up. Gianluca is very hospitable and helpful and clearly wants guests to get the best out of their stay. He arranged our transport from the airport which was waiting for us when we arrived. Our room was large and bright with a good sized bathroom. Everything seemed clean and shower supplies were well-stocked. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and set us up nicely for the day. Quodlibet is handily situated for the Vatican and the metro station is only a few minutes` walk away for travel further afield. We very much enjoyed our stay and I would definitely recommend Quodlibet as a base for a trip to Rome.

An excellent guesthouse in the Prati area of Rome. The owner sent us an email before our stay to let us know that booking tickets in advance was a must for a few of the sights in Rome. We purchased tickets already, but it was nice to have a pre-arrival reminder to ensure we saw the famous sights without having to wait on long lines. We check in and he provided us map and some walking routes to take. He highlighted some restaurants based on our preferences. All were great and representative of the local cuisine in Rome. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were excellent. This is a great guesthouse.

Wow where do I start, I don’t usually do reviews but this is a must! We stayed as a family of 4, two adults & two teens. Our room was lovely and clean with a private bathroom, safe and coffee machine and a fully stocked shared kitchen if needed. We had plenty of space in the room for all of us without feeling cramped, The breakfast on the terrace is a pure gem a lovely selection of food and freshly cooked eggs in any variety you wanted. having the terrace and that outside space really made downtime really calming. The owner Gianluca was amazing (as was his team!) his attention to detail and helpful nature put you at ease from the very beginning, before we had arrived we had received an email advising us of the best tours/times and online ticket purchasing links (there are so many online!) As well as transfer options. Being the typical English tourists we knew what we wanted to see but hadn’t ‘planned’ our routes. Gianluca took the time to show us several routes to walk which would incorporate the sites as well as hidden gems and plotted these on a map we could keep. He gave excellent advice on which restaurants would suit us and he was 100% right. On check out our flight wasn’t until late afternoon this wasn’t a problem at all Gianluca arranged for our bags to be stored in a safe place at the guest house and provided us with a set of keys so that we could spend the day sightseeing and then return later that day to collect our bags and travel to the airport. It’s these little touches that are so thoughtful and make the place so special x The Guest house itself is in a lovely location, quiet but only a 5-7 minute walk to the Vatican and at peters square where it is a bit livelier if you wanted this. The metro is a two minute walk and easy link to the colosseum which we used but the walk back is no more that 30 minutes and you see so much more that’s not listed in the tour guides! I would 100% recommend this guest house to everyone and have even suggested to my eldest child to stay there with his partner when they travel to Rome.

Fantastic Guesthouse located a few minutes walk from the Vatican. Very clean large family room, we are a family of 4 and we had a large double bed and 2 singles which suited us very well. The host is brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a highlight, bacon and eggs, yoghurt, toast, croissants etc etc. I would definitely stay again next time in Rome.

Wow!! What a wonderful experience. We were picked up on time at the airport by pre-arranged chauffeur . The manager Gianluca, gave us a brief, but very informative map tour of the sites which we were able to walk to. The roof top breakfast was exceptional. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Gianluca helped us extend our trip for an extra day. The location is central to the main attractions, collesium, forum, trevi fountain etc. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Nice HOT water. We highly recommend Quodlibet (whatever in Latin) for families or Lovers like us, you will not be disappointed

Beautiful quaint B&B within walking distance of everything. From even before we travelled Gianluca and his team were so helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean, cool and quiet once window was closed. Breakfast was yummy and plentiful and was served up on the roof - beautiful views. We walked everywhere from here but if you prefer public transport the Metro is 2 mins walk away. Gorgeous little bakery literally underneath the building - visited everyday to sample their treats. Gelato/coffee shop at top of street, LemonGrass - highly recommend their gelatos. Overall would recommend Quodlibet to anyone looking for a lovely friendly comfortable stay in Rome.

Spent 7 days there this November as a second visit. It's just perfect, Gianluca and his team make Quodlibet the perfect retreat in Rome. It is a small community who come together for the excellent breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace conservatory. Or you could say that it's like staying with friends who have a sizeable house in a great location - ten minutes walk from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican. Gianluca prepares a tailor-made map for all of his guests that is done to exactly meet each person's needs and requests, with sight seeing and tried and tested restaurants in each area. Help with anything at all is always available and each of his team are completely focused on making your stay perfect. We have still more to see and do in Rome so we will return next year without doubt.

The stay aft QuodLibet / Casa Martini was excellent. I selected this accommodation after a thorough search. What I look for in a stay is good personal service and location above all. Judging by reviews many people were staying here for the second, third or fourth time and after my stay I understand why. Gianluca really tried to understand what we wanted to do while in Rome, what kinds of activities and food we like and made great suggestions for things to see, do and places to eat. Every morning the staff cooked eggs, made toast to order and they also had fresh fruit, coffee and yoghurt. Breakfast is served in a cozy area on the rooftop. The location is excellent as there is a metro stop a few steps away and the Vatican museums only around a 10 minute walk. Near the metro stop there is a really good coffee shop / gelateria called Lemongrass perfect for a quick espresso before heading out to see the sights. Of the places we ate in the neighbourhood there was one place I can't recommend enough and that's Pizzeria Giacomelli. We had dinner there three times in our 6 days in Rome. The roman style four cheese pizza and the Amatriciana (think carbonara ingredients + tomatoes) were our favorites as well as the tiramisu desert.
