"I always stay at this hotel. Located near the airport, perfect if you have a layover on your trip. The pool is amazing and the service is good. I always go shopping on the different outlet malls. I will for sure book this hotel next time I come to Bangkok."

"We loved it here so much. The view from the pool is nice as well as from the gym. I wish we would have stayed longer. The breakfast buffet is tasty and they give you 2 waters per day. Loved the big smart tv, the water pressure and cleanliness of the room. We went to lifestyle mall close by, took a grab to chinatown, visited iconsiam and 2 temples while staying here. It's lovely and relaxing after a long day out and the pool bar makes good drinks too. Thank you for the kindness, we hope to come back soon"

"I have to say, this hotel was really great, and the price-performance ratio was excellent 😊 Although there's some construction going on in the area right now, making transportation a bit inconvenient, the location is king 😎 The best part is that hotels usually charge guests a deposit (either cash or credit card, which is refunded upon check-out). But what surprised me was that they only recorded your credit card payment and didn't charge you anything, so we didn't have to worry about any follow-up on refunds 👍 This is so awesome 👏 I was originally planning to pay cash (6000 🐷) 🥲 and thought, ”Another 6000 less for shopping!” 😅 Now I'm so happy 🥳 Okay, next, let me introduce this hotel 🏨 First: 1) The hotel is above a shopping mall ☝️ (You need to take the elevator from the 1st floor to the hotel lobby on the 7th floor) 2) Hotel lobby There's a massage shop right next door. I initially thought those in hotels would be expensive 😅, but the prices were about the same as outside, so convenient! 👍 (If you don't mind what others think, you can even go for a massage in your pajamas, since the massage shop is right outside the elevator.) 3) Next, there's McDonald's and Starbucks downstairs, selling snacks 😃😃, which is a big plus 😜 4) Pratunam Mall, December, Central World, 7-Eleven, morning/night market, and the famous pork leg rice are all just a few minutes' walk away 👍 So convenient! Finally, the hotel room is spacious and the soundproofing is excellent 👏 You can't hear any road construction noise outside at all 👍 A little anecdote (from my daughter comment): ”Mom, this mini-fridge is really cold!” 😂 (Because I always complain that the hotel fridge isn't cold, hahaha) 😄 This little girl really knows her mom so well 😅"

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, right at the exit of Chong Nonsi BTS station. The views of Bangkok's tallest skyscraper are incredible, especially the breathtaking sky pool on the rooftop. Waking up to a lovely breakfast on the 5th-floor restaurant, with views of the MahaNakhon building and the BTS station, is such a chill experience."

"Stayed at AETAS Lumpini during my recent trip to Bangkok and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel’s biggest strength is its location. Situated near MRT Lumpini and directly opposite One Bangkok, getting around the city is extremely convenient. Whether you’re heading to Sukhumvit, Silom, or Chinatown, public transport is easily accessible. The front desk staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the concierge team was always helpful whenever I needed assistance or directions. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I particularly appreciated the generous room size, which felt larger than many hotels in a similar price range. The bed was comfortable, housekeeping was efficient, and everything was well maintained. What impressed me most was the value for money. Considering the location, room size, and level of service provided, I felt I received excellent value for what I paid. Overall, AETAS Lumpini is a solid choice for both business and leisure travellers looking for a comfortable stay in a convenient part of Bangkok."

During my recent stay, I was immediately struck by the hotel’s minimalist yet warm aesthetic. Nestled in a quiet alley just a 7-10 minute walk from the Ratchathewi BTS Station, it offers a peaceful retreat while keeping the bustling energy of Siam and Pratunam within easy reach. Comfortable Rooms & Exceptional Sleep The highlight of the room was undoubtedly the sleep quality. The mattress and pillows are exceptionally plush—often cited by guests as some of the most comfortable in Bangkok. My room was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed with: • Smart TV for easy streaming. • Reliable, high-speed WiFi. • Daily housekeeping that maintained a high standard of hygiene. Seamless Service & Thoughtful Amenities The hospitality here feels genuine. The staff are incredibly accommodating, and the free electric tuk-tuk shuttle to the BTS station is a lifesaver in the Bangkok heat. Other appreciated touches included the 24/7 complimentary coffee/tea station in the lobby and the convenient luggage-weighing scale—perfect for those planning a shopping spree at nearby MBK or Platinum Fashion Mall. Location & Local Vibe While the hotel is in a ”slower” part of the district, stepping around the corner reveals a vibrant local scene. There are multiple 7-Elevens nearby and an abundance of affordable street food stalls and massage shops that provide a much more authentic experience than the typical tourist traps. Minor Considerations • Space: Like many boutique hotels in central Bangkok, the rooms (especially the Smart King) are cozy. If you have large suitcases, you might find it a bit tight. • Sound: Soundproofing could be improved, as noise from the hallway can occasionally drift into the room. Overall Verdict: With its stylish design, superb breakfast buffet, and top-tier service, VELA be Bangkok Ratchathewi offers incredible value for money. It is an ideal choice for travelers who want to be near the city center without sacrificing the quiet, local feel of a traditional neighborhood. I would certainly return for those pillows alone!"

"Beautiful hotel, convenient location. Walking distance to the main shopping area, 7/11 right next door for my amenities or snacks. Lobby bar and dining area. Pool and jacuzzi was amazing, used them 2 of the full days I had there, very relaxing. Taxi services always waiting on front if you don't want to walk, I recommend walking. Would recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Bangkok"

"The atmosphere was good and fun. I liked that the hotel was close to 7-Eleven, but it's far from the city center. However, if that's not a big deal for you, it's fine. There were no issues with the water, only the door barely closed, and the power went out a couple of times, but those are minor things. It was comfortable, and the pool was also good for swimming. The only issue was at checkout, they tried to shortchange me, or at least gave me 200 baht instead of 300 baht. 😐"

"This is an old hotel in the midst of Chinatown. The rooms are well furnished (even if without windows) and the breakfast is quite ok with Thai rice dishes, eggs & ham/sausages, fruits and breads/croissants and beverages. There's a nice 25m rooftop pool. This hotel is within 150m of a blue line metro station (2 stops from grand palace), and a small lotus supermarket with a KFC within 250m. There's LOTS of street food in front of the hotel at night, and street/alley shopping a block opposite. Our only issue is with the bad odour that enters the hotel lobby from the road which itself stinks (probably due to very poor drainage)."
