The hotel is located in the city center, close to St. Isaac's Cathedral. The location is very good. It is also very close to the Hermitage and has convenient transportation. The accommodation conditions are also very good, the room is clean and spacious. The lady at the front desk is enthusiastic and speaks good English. Reminder: When leaving the hotel, you need to pay the Immigration Bureau registration fee of 350 rubles per person, and you need cash.

Overall, a decent option in terms of price/quality ratio. The positives are definitely the location and breakfast. Of the minuses, the reception staff is not very flexible in terms of decisions, and also the gym, it is disgraceful for the A's. The rooms are as expected.

We stayed one night in St. Petersburg on our way back from Murmansk and I chose the Renaissance because I wanted to use points for what would be an abbreviated stay. I wasn't expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The check-in process was fine and we were upgraded to a really nice suite. The hotel is quiet and seems to be recently renovated. The fitness center was pretty good, but not all of the equipment worked. With that said, there are a lot of weights - my son was impressed. The staff was friendly, although a bit overworked/understaffed. The location was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. Fresh omelettes, fish, great baked goods, drinks, etc. I am not much of a breakfast person, but that day I was.

We were pleasantly greeted at the reception, and while we were checking in we offered to drink champagne 🥂 We told about the hotel and restaurant. We had the most ordinary Deluxe standard room, we were pleasantly surprised by the design of the room, it was a pleasure to be in it. In the evening we went to a themed dinner with live music (saxophone). We had breakfast in the morning, pleasant atmosphere. I advise

We vacationed with our family in August, stayed for 5 nights, took a family room, everything was excellent, from the location to the staff. The only negative is the mattresses were already sagging and the sound insulation was not very good. Breakfast is excellent, staff is friendly.

Good location. Large rooms. Nice bed linen and towels. More or less modern style of the rooms. Terrible breakfasts. Fatty, tasteless, uninteresting food, just some kind of canteen. The waiters don't bring drinks. Strange room cleaning. The dishes are dirty, with food leftovers. Not worth the money at all.

Beautiful large room with a view of St. Isaac's, large comfortable bed, small shower room, quiet air conditioning, excellent breakfast. Overall the impression is very positive. Minor drawbacks - they didn’t congratulate you on your 60th birthday, on the day of departure they decided to extend the room until 15.00 (the night before they announced 8000 rubles, in the morning the price increased to 11000 rubles). A huge drawback - the cook on the summer veranda needs to be replaced with a beautiful view of the cathedral, this is good, but the view is necessary delicious cuisine. We celebrated our 60th anniversary there, salads more or less, but when they brought the main dish of chicken tabaka (a huge half of an uncooked chicken) it was clear that the cook didn’t have the slightest idea what tabaka is) Just go in and have a snack while admiring Isaac’s yes, but like a restaurant in a hotel no five stars.

The most wonderful hotel with excellent service. Delicious breakfasts (Be sure to try the cheesecakes) with Italian sparkling wine. The entire staff is very attentive, warm and simply excellent. Be sure to try coffee in a chic coffee shop

Or to cheap restaurants where there is a “Reserve” sign to show that all the seats are occupied, or to a cheap Turkish beach where visitors leave towels so that no one takes this place? We have visited this hotel several times and have a favorite breakfast spot behind a beautiful curtain. Today we came for breakfast and saw that such tables were reserved. We turned to administrator Andrey for an explanation. He said that the reservation is his initiative for large companies or families with children. At that time, all the large tables in the common room were not reserved. When asked to comment on the situation, the response was received in an irritated manner that was not very appropriate for an employee. It's a pity, of course, that the hotel is falling so quickly. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this level.
