The lobby is well laid out and modern. The rooms were clean. But the list of annoying things in this hotel were baffling. A $30 charge to park your own car outdoors, a “free” WiFi that would clock at 4.7 MBPS, unless you paid $15/day to go up to 60 MBPS, still too slow for business. The free WiFi buffered for 65 minutes just to download two large Word files I needed. The towels were would not quite dry. The “Blackout” curtains left a large gap letting outside light in. And perhaps worst of all, a front desk attendant (Rebecca) who would not lend me a basic chair with back support to replace a worn-out chair that gave me lower back pain the night before. Knowing my discomfort, she could not care less to help a guest with such a basic request, even though I was very kind and courteous in my request. On checkout, Daniel, a very professional front desk staff, heard about my plight and offered to remove the parking charges. The manager, Brad, called apologetically shortly after, saying he would get back to me. He did not. I texted him the next day and he said he would get back to me. Again, he did not. He did say he will use my feedback for training purposes, but did not care to address the issues I raised. Overall, a negative experience for this Gold Star class world traveler. This is not a restful place if food, comfort and above all helpful service matter to you.
