"One of My Best Stay Experiences—Authentic & Unforgettable This was one of my most memorable hotel stays, and I’ve stayed at many top-tier, five-star hotels around the world. While this may not be the most luxurious in terms of facilities, it more than makes up for it with its genuine charm and warmth. The owner was incredibly friendly, making us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home rather than a hotel. This welcoming vibe perfectly complements the enchanting atmosphere of this beautiful ancient city.   The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially from our top-floor room. The owner went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience, offering a spectacular panorama of the old town and surrounding mountains. The location is ideal—perched on a small hill, it provides an elevated vantage point for those stunning views, though the short uphill walk may be a slight effort due to the altitude. But trust me, it’s worth it.   If you’re visiting Lijiang to immerse yourself in its relaxed beauty and rich culture, there’s no better place to stay. I originally booked for three nights but quickly realized I’d need more time—next visit, I’m planning a full week to truly unwind and soak it all in. This isn’t a place to rush; it’s a place to slow down, savor the moment, and let the magic of Lijiang embrace you.   I can’t wait to return."

"I absolutely loved the guesthouse's overall decor and ambiance, especially their charming little garden. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit there and sip tea. As for cleanliness, the 'Ayi' (cleaning lady) tidied up every day. The rooms even came with a humidifier and an air purifier – such thoughtful touches! Big thumbs up 👍🏻. Xiao Lu and Long Ge were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They not only assisted us in planning our itinerary but also recommended amazing local eateries. They even enthusiastically invited us to a bar to hang out – so much fun! 😂 And last but certainly not least, out of all my past accommodation experiences, their breakfast was hands down the best I've ever had! Seriously, my main motivation to wake up early every morning was to enjoy the delicious rice noodles prepared by the 'Ayi'! I stayed for several days and happily ate it every single morning, haha. Oh, and their pickled radishes are also incredibly tasty! The breakfast is clearly made with so much care and offers a great variety. If you're visiting, you absolutely *must* try their breakfast."

"A belated review. This hotel is located near Shuhe Ancient Town, about a ten-minute walk away. It's next to the Pullman Hotel and offers a very quiet and peaceful environment. As for the hotel facilities, I personally think the owner is quite thoughtful and is striving to emulate the tastes of first-tier brands. Therefore, the hotel is unlike many newer hotels these days. However, times change, and it seems that the high-cost amenities of international brands are being surpassed by the latest domestic alternatives (which are still new, just not as high-tech as many hotels today). This may have been unexpected at first. I still admire the hotel's design. The courtyard is stunning. Cleanliness and comfort are quite acceptable. The service is also very pleasant. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who seek a quiet retreat after a busy day. Waking up in the morning and quietly sipping tea in the courtyard is such a delight."

"Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our Yunnan trip, thanks to the incredible staff. We were warmly welcomed with afternoon snacks and genuine care. The scenery from our hotel room was spectacular! The service was truly thoughtful as well. The staff asked about our itinerary and offered excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. When they found out we were going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge, they went the extra mile and prepared a bag of snacks for us to help prevent altitude sickness. This kind of personal attention is rare and so appreciated. It's a wonderful place to stay where you will definitely feel the warmth and hospitality. We felt completely at home and would recommend it to anyone!"

"The B&B environment is very good, very distinctive, clean and sanitary. It is located in the ancient city, but it is quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle and your sleep will not be affected. The boss was very friendly and personally came to the door to help us with our luggage. We stayed for three nights and when we left at around 5 in the morning, the boss sent us to the door. What a very good boss! The room is very unique, with Naxi style, and the children like it very much. The boss also helped us upgrade the room, which was great and the experience was particularly good. You can book with confidence and choose here next time."

"There are many inns in Lijiang, and it took me a long time to choose this one because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. First of all, this place is located on the outskirts of Lijiang Old Town. It is a bit far away from the core area of ​​the ancient city, but it can be reached quickly on foot. The transportation is very convenient. You can also take a taxi not far from home, and the car can be parked at the door. It is also convenient to eat in the surrounding area. Lijiang A must-choice place to enjoy slow life. Secondly, the overall decoration of the room is combined with local characteristics. It is both ethnic and modern. The sound insulation effect is okay. The bedding is of high quality and feels good to the touch. It is comfortable to lie down and sleep well. It is quite suitable for insomniacs like me. friendly. In addition, the viewing platform on the top floor is very large and equipped with all kinds of photo props. It is the first choice for those who like to take photos. It is very good for filming! You can also have afternoon tea here and enjoy the slow life in Lijiang. The small courtyard with blue sky and white clouds is beautiful! Overall, I am very satisfied with this inn. The only drawback is that I have to drag my luggage for a while from the intersection. The unique stone road in the ancient city is really a test for the trolley suitcases. It makes people feel distressed. If the hotel can provide a shuttle bus, Picked up at the intersection, that would be great. I hope the store will consider it. "Pros: the garden and grounds were photogenic. The area was located near the top of the hilly ancient city. The hotel had amazing service, helping us book an affordable shared bus ride to Dali. Clean bedsheets. Cons: although the hotel looks good in photos, it is old and shabby and not taken care of. Lots of peeling paint and mold growing in the bathroom. There was a small desk, but in the corner and on the floor. Everything is trying to be Japanese style, but it’s not comfortable for someone like me who is tall and used to western and Chinese style. Also, I don’t need a sink in the entry way. A table or chair would make a lot more sense. I stayed in July and it really does need air conditioning because the morning sun and thin walls make the room incredibly hot in the morning and daytime. There were fans but I only used one because the other was covered in dust. It’s a shame I have to write a bad review because the place is cute on the outside and has potential to be much better."

"A beautiful home away from home, with owners who are kind and truly care. I was blown away by the beauty and service here. We stayed with our family with two children. The gardens are so well maintained and you can also see lots of goldfish swimming which is very peaceful. They clean every day for you and have laundry services available. The owners are around and are very friendly. Comfortable beds and very well laid out rooms. We stayed in multiple room options as we upgraded for the second half of our stay."

"It’s a nice hotel that provides quite spacious and comfortable rooms. There was a round bed in my room and I really enjoyed this experience. The room was clean and fresh. The shower room was large and the there was everything I needed in the room, like a kettle, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer, bathrobe and the like. There’s no tee or coffee in the room so you can bring it with you. I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers and couples. It’s very nice. The staff is also friendly and helpful."

"This homestay is located approx 8 mins walk from the Lijiang 古镇, though a little far but the service and the staff at the homestay made it an excellent choice to stay in. They had a rooftop level for enjoying breakfast, afternoon tea and evening snack while facing the snow mountain. Service is impeccable and you really feel warmth and care throughout the stay. View from my room was superb too! When they know I had to go out early the next day and can't have breakfast, they even made sure to pack some food for me to have on my day tour out. I left the place with my heart full and feeling so cared for. I'll definitely come back to stay at this homestay if I'm back in Lijiang!"
