Scenic Hotels in Naha

"Hotel is quite new, service was excellent and good location, around 8-10mins walk from main shopping street: Several paid parking around 1300-1400 yen near hotel. We had club access and the daily 5-7pm complimentary entry to lounge with light bites and nice sparkling alcohol was nice. The service was excellent there too. Main drawback was the fact that they do not have blackout curtains hence you naturally wake up at 6plus, and the thread count of the bedsheets can be improved. Also limited pillow options ( buckwheat or regular polyester.. hence either too hard or too soft). Also limited bottled water available."

"We enjoyed our stay at the The Royal Iconic Naha Hotel. It's a modern and clean hotel close to the popular Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping street as well as the monorail station being directly across the road. Heaps of restaurants and shopping options nearby. The one negative aspect staying here was the parking facility. It's not your traditional parking space that's provided instead the hotel has a parking mechanical tower (like a large vending machine) that parks your car and collects it for you. The process of collecting your car could take a while due to the number of guests needing to collect their car as well. Its one at a time basis. Also there's not enough parking spots so when we arrived back from our day trips in the evening, we were advised that the car park is full an were directed to find alternative parking elsewhere. I found was really inconvenient as the days were hot and humid and everybody was tired. I ended up circling around the area for an hour looking for parking and trying to figure out how to park using those plate locks. Then I had to lug alot of things from my car as well as my 3 yr old back to the hotel. I haven't ever came across this issue before at other hotels I've stayed in. The pool isn't large but was nice enough to relax for a quick dip. There was also a spa as well which was nice. Would be good though if the pool was opened until later (it closes early at 8pm). Also, there weren't any towels provided at the pool and only 2 towels provided in our hotel room which we had to use. This was inconvenient as we then had to bring back our wet towels to our room. Overall our stay was okay."

"The staff were really nice. Even though there was a language barrier with the lady downstairs, she was very patient and used a translation app to communicate with us. However, the app wasn't very accurate. When we went upstairs to check in, it turned out there was a ********* person at the front desk, which was great. Still, we had to wait quite a while to check in, even though there was no one else at the desk at the time. The room was pretty spacious, and everything else was fine. The location is also quite convenient, and the restaurant downstairs is good. After checking in, it was past 3 PM, so we went downstairs to eat. The server asked if we wanted the restaurant or cafe. When she gave us the menu, we realized we only had about five or six minutes before lunch orders closed, but they still took our order! The set meal and the beef rice bowl were both really delicious. Definitely worth trying if you're staying here."

"This hotel is nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised on Trip.com and is, at best, a 3-star property. The facility hours are very limited, especially for a hotel claiming to be luxury. The rooftop bar closes at 9 pm, which is far too early, and we were also told at check-in that access to the infinity pool costs extra at around JPY 1,100 per adult. Charges like this should be made clear upfront, not casually mentioned on arrival. Breakfast was decent enough, with an adequate selection, but the process was unnecessarily frustrating. Guests had to register in advance for a roughly 45-minute timeslot, and during our visit we were asked to provide a QR code. It felt overly complicated and poorly managed when they could simply have checked our room number and names instead. The only real positive was the reception staff, who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our requests. Unfortunately, good staff alone cannot make up for the limited facilities, extra charges, and inconvenient procedures. Overall, this hotel does not deliver a 5-star experience and feels misleadingly advertised."

"The hotel has a small swimming pool upstairs with purple-red neon lights at night. It seems to host mostly European and American guests. Overall, it's nothing spectacular. I booked it last minute because I had to stay an extra night due to a typhoon. The room is a bit small but acceptable, just a little dated. The air conditioning vent had some dust. Everything else was fine, nothing memorable, but the price was quite cheap. Facilities: 4/5 Hygiene: 4/5 Environment: 4/5 Service: 4/5"

"I spent very good time here. Compared to its price, this hotel gives you soo much satisfaction. I was really satisfied. Compared to other hotels in Japan, the room was very wide and so clean. You can use bathtub and relax, too. I liked that I can see all Naha city view from this hotel. Also I enjoyed the time in Infinity pool on the 3rd floor. Even though I had no chance to look around 15th floor panoramic view.(I forgot to go up 😅) please go up to 15th floor and check the panoramic view. Even though the weather was very bad (whole day it rained 🥲 )during my visiting Okinawa, staying this hotel made me feel good. Thank you."

"Location is great. Next to monorail Tsubogawa station. Near the airport and walking distance so Kokouri Dori. There are two konbinis nearby, and there's a Donki on the next block. Room is also quite spacious. There's a bathtub. And I was happy I was able to watch youtube/netflix on the TV. Staff are friendly, too. They made a ”towel cake” for my birthday. 😁"

"The location is very convenient, especially if you are arriving from the airport by train or bus. The breakfast is typical Japanese style, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the matcha latte. The rooftop bar offers a great view of Okinawa at night. I also appreciated the laundry facilities, which were very convenient for travelers."

"This hotel is not new but is well maintained in my opinion, we had a comfortable 5 nights stay. Located at a quiet corner in Naha city, Naha port with unblock port view. Pleasant experience with the reception though require a little guessing work when the carpark uncle tries to redirect us to the alternate open air hotel carpark, we managed with the given map, a short walk away. Basement parking at the hotel building has very limited lots, often full after sunset. Ice making machine available on our level lobby and notice microwave too at other floor. A short drive from the airport. A bakery, 7-11 and souvenir shop on ground level, complimentary hot spring bath, coin laundry... There is also a supermarket less than 5 minute walk away."

"The hotel's location is excellent. Even though I only stayed one night, after checking in in the afternoon, I walked to DFS and 3A Department Store, which was super convenient. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, a drugstore next door, and the art museum is just a few steps away. The Flip-A-Doo toy store is also very close. There's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant upstairs that tasted great, costing around 200 RMB per person, and it was still busy at 8 PM. On Sunday night, even at past 9 PM, Starbucks in 3A Department Store was full, as was Ippudo Ramen. The mall was mostly frequented by locals, which I thought made it feel more authentic than Kokusai Street. Definitely worth a stay. It's also not far from the airport, and both buses and taxis are easily accessible."
