I took my whole family of 12 to Florence Italy and stayed at the Villa La Massa. It is close to the city and and located on the river Arno. The facilities are amazing and they have recently added a fantastic new pool and adjacent Bistro. They have facilities for all ages. The restaurants are fabulous and the staff very attentive. The chef visited our table and can prepare special meals upon request. The views of the countryside and the river while you enjoy your meal is breathtaking. We partook in cooking classes and Spa treatments which I highly recommend. We also did guided tours of Florence including visits to the Ufizzi and Academia to se the famous statue of David. All of our activities were arranged by Tamar Trambusti at the Villa La Massa including transportation, tours, Spa treatments, cooking classes, museum tickets, dinner reservations at the Villa and in town. Tamara Trambusti did a fantastic job of making our visit to the Villa La Massa a trip of a lifetime. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and centrally located. The external cafe bar was a lovely way to end a long day’s sightseeing. It would have been perfect if it stayed open later than 7.30. Staff were friendly and helpful in particular, Maria Angelina. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The wine was delicious and typically a high standard one would expect in the Chianti area. All in all a very pleasant introduction to Tuscany and the Chianti route.

I love this hotel in Prato - can take 20 mins train to Firenze SMN station. All facilities are new, provide slippers and flippers! Breakfast can pre-order with discount! All hams and cheese are super, with fresh orange juice. Big room and nice shower place. I will stay with B&B chain hotel next trip. I saw one in Firenze most convenient place to visit the museum and churches.

I arrived with my septuagenarian parents on April 27 for a week-long stay. The hotel provided us with the right room classification on arrival, but I was concerned that the suite was single bathroom instead of two and the closet space was not optimal for our needs. Annamaria, Victoria and Samuele stand out as front office staff who listened and acted swiftly to help address our request for help and resolved the issue the next day. That was the first wow moment of our stay. I also recommend the breakfast (came with our reservation package) and you should take advantage of the Rooftop Bar, the view of the Duomo and across the city 360 degress is suberb. After 10+ visits to Florence, this hotel has become my new preferred location and I anticipate returning here in the years to come.

We visited Hu Camping because it had the services we wanted whilst being really close to Florence. Check In could not have gone any easier. Really polite staff. We asked to upgrade our mobile home but there were none available until the end of the week. So we didn't bother. We drive to our home and noticed it was clean and well maintained. There were people gardening, cleaning all the time. Got to the mobile home and things were not ideal, utensils missing and a ladder to the bunk bed. We went to reception to ask about the missing things and the majority of what we needed was sent to us within an hour with huge apologies. It was an older mobile home but it was clean and ready for us to put our feet up. Having two bathrooms was really good with a family of 5. It was 37°C outside and the air conditioning worked well. We took a fan with us so it moved the air around a bit more. But we left it on during the day, with the interior doors open and the rooms were nice and cool. We used the restaurant, the service was really good and they were busy. It's a good idea to book. We had booked for 9pm and a couple were ahead of us in the queue when we arrived, they asked for a table and were told they'd have to wait 45 minutes. The food was tasty and fresh. Not overly expensive, considering some places nearby or other European cities. We used both pools, the kids one was a little cold but my boys (8, 13, 15) didn't care. Around the pool was clean and well maintained, there was enough shade if needed and a lovely olive grove section away from the pool for lots of shade. The pool bar was well equipped and the staff were friendly. The main pool was busy but people still had space to throw a ball or jump in. It's not there for doing lengths. The onsite shop was fine, it's not big, so we used it when we had to, otherwise there was a decent sized Coop not too far from the site (driving distance). The other bits were good, bike hire (although get there early), laundry services were great, the volleyball/football pitch needs updating but it was fine. The location is just outside the city. There was a bus to the centre from the campsite but we didn't use it. We drove and parked in underground parking in the city. All very easy. I had preconceptions about how it was going to be but I was really surprised with how good it was. And the staff were really polite and helpful. I would happily go back to visit it again.

The reception Staff were particularly good. The room was OK. We decided to eat in the `Restaurant`. The Waitress was not really interested. We waited and waited for just the menu to arrive. We ordered our food which came relatively quickly, the soup that was listed did not resemble any soup we have ever experienced. The ice cream which I could not eat was disgusting. The Waitress had disappeared we could not discus this issue at all. Having travelled nearly 600 kilometers that day in the heat, we could not wait because we were so tired. In the morning when we went to settle the bill, we found it had already been taken and the Receptionist did not want to understand and offered us two beers, small compensation.

We recently stayed here as part of a group tour. Nico and his staff were all so welcoming and the grounds were just amazing. I felt like I was living a dream. The food and the accommodations were excellent. We were able to have our dinners under the Tuscan sky and it included a live band. We were also treated to a cooking lesson by the hotel restaurant chef. I can only hope to go back there again someday.

The location is excellent I walked everywhere I wanted to go. The Uffizi Gallery, the Florence Cathedral, and the Leonardo da Vinci museum were not very far. There was also an excellent gelato place just across the river. Other than the location there was nothing amazing, and they charge for everything, from even checking in there to storing bags. Breakfast was free, but it was small and only served for an hour from 9:30-10:30. I like to get out around 8 before things get too busy, so this was not ideal. I ended up doing something early and coming back for a later breakfast. This hostel is fine, a little expensive, but not horrible.
