I very enjoyed staying here and feel bad that I booked only 1 night, I should have booked longer than 1 night The hotel concept is like farm stay, we have many activities to do such as feeding animals here (sheeps, deers, donkey, horse and dogs) Very suitable for who would like to relaxed at the hotel, this hotel make me dont want to go out to do anything except staying here. Very fun and good experiences here Also, the food at the hotel restaurants is very delicious. Dogs here very cute and huggable I would like to come back again during winter, it would be so fun and enjoyable

Room exceeded our expectation. Bed was so comfortable that i slept throughout the 2nights stay. washroom and bathroom was seperated. with a total of 2 washroom and 2 bathroom for our room configuration. this helped save a lot of time for a family of 3 travellers. condition wise, i will give it 10/10 as we are very particular about hygiene in washroom. hotel staff was so friendly and regrettable that i didnt got her name to mention her here. Thank you for helping in luggages during checkin and checkout and making our stay a pleasant one.

My husband and I had such a relaxing stay at this hotel. It’s outside the city, which was perfect for us—quiet, serene, and away from the hustle. But heads up: if you’re planning to shop often in Dukezong, this might be a bit far for you. For us though, the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed! Wish we had more time in Shangrila. One of the highlights: Bonfire nights with marshmallows! We missed the fireworks, but sitting around the fire, singing with other guests was so much fun. Such a unique and heartwarming experience! Shoutout to the driver and butler — they were super responsive, from pickups to making sure everything ran smoothly. Breakfast was delicious, great way to start the day. The hotel animals were adorable! I’ve never been this close to a deer before—such a cool little surprise. Will definitely come back here again.

Stay was made memorable with the service - their little touches go a long way; the design of the hotel - combines culture & experience; the room - well maintained & clean with thoughtful amenities. Glad I chose this hotel (besides the convenient location), is the best part of my trip!

The service staff was really detailed and helpful in every way. They added us on WeChat upon arrival, carried our luggages into the room before we knew it. They delivered fresh fruits to the room that were really sweet and good, and the goodnight milk was a nice touch to end the night. They also took good care of our luggages after we checked out for the day until we left for the airport. They arranged our transport to the airport as well. Top notched service and hospitality that made the stay really enjoyable and we wished we had stayed here for longer. The rooms were nicely renovated and clean. The smart features were a really nice touch, especially the automatic water closet that opens when you enter. Amazing stay.

The picture is of the hotel bar at 20.00. Totally closed. The rooms are quite modern and clean, no problems at all there. The location is a decent walk into the old town. Fine if you have a car, but there are probably better options if you're visiting the touristic locations. The biggest annoyance was when I arrived on crutches having hurt my ankle a couple of days before they just watched my struggle with my bags. After check-in, the small female receptionist did try to take my large bag, but couldn't lift. All while a larger male colleague just watched on. Breakfast was alright, not great. The worst overall mark of any of the hotels in China for me, by quite a distance.

Although I have stayed in many hotels and B&Bs before, this is my first time staying in a high altitude area. I have a lot to say, not only want to write a good review for the B&B, but also want to write a thank you letter to the B&B. I booked the B&B about a month before the trip. We had very good expectations for Shangri-La's Old Classmates Travel & Hotel, but I didn't expect that it would be very touching even before our high-speed rail arrived at the station, which was far beyond imagination. The boss is a very kind uncle with a good temper and even no temper. He will wait for us at the high-speed rail station half an hour before we arrive. After we arrive, there are other sisters who will help us take all the luggage to the B&B to check in. A sister who is like a housekeeper took us to visit the reserved room and carefully introduced all the features and facilities inside. She even taught us how to use the shower in detail several times. What's more unimaginable is that she also wears shoe covers. The sister who helped us with the luggage took my heavy suitcase and waved to me to go up the stairs first, and she followed behind. This is really ”Japanese service”! During the visit, the housekeeper also helped us turn on the purple light of the smart toilet, the electronic fireplace, the oxygen supply device, etc., even if I had some small problems late at night, they were patient enough to answer our questions. Several of us love to shop and often go in and out, but every time! They saw us before we entered the store, and then stood up and waved to us with a smile. They also asked us if we wanted to eat rice noodles or porridge for breakfast. One of my classmates was not in good health and could not eat too much oil. They would also adjust according to our situation. There was also butter tea in breakfast, which was obviously a reduced-oil version specially prepared to adapt to the taste and physical condition of us outsiders. The breakfast was also very rich. Several sisters could even accurately report who lived in which room and when we came back. Not long after we came back to rest, a sister came to give us afternoon tea, and it was available every day. The medicine bag for foot bath was also updated every day! ! ! Especially when I suddenly fell ill one night, the boss drove us to the hospital late at night. He was very emotional and told me, ”The hospital is almost there, it's okay, just breathe oxygen and get an injection and you'll be fine.” We left the high-speed train very early that day, and the boss came to see us off very early. The sister in the homestay also helped us prepare breakfast and souvenirs for the next day the night before. It was very rich and delicious. Thank you very much for your careful care these days. This is my first time in Tibet. I was moved by the simple folk customs here. Everyone is so gentle, kind and humble. There is no class flavor. They live their slow life quietly. Even in the ancient city with serious traffic jams, all drivers can wait patiently. There is no horn sound, no quarrel, only laughter and the smell of food coming from the store. I like the city of Shangri-La very much, the people here, the food here, the attractions here, and the animals here. I hope I can have a chance to come next time! The homestay is very clean and comfortable to live in! The hotel is located next to the east gate of the ancient city. It is very convenient to go to the ancient city or take the direct bus to the East Gate Scenic Area. The hotel is surrounded by the Shangri-La Tax Bureau, the court and the customs, so security is not a problem. The hotel has just opened, and the hardware facilities and the service awareness of the employees are very good. The restaurant downstairs is not bad either. A portion of rice noodles for 32 yuan is quite large, and there are also yak beef buns, which are very large in portion and definitely not the type of steamed buns you get in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. You must be mentally prepared before ordering, otherwise it will be a bit scary when a large portion comes up. If I must give a suggestion, it would be whether a humidifier could be provided. When I checked in on the first day, the floor heating was on and it was too dry, so I bought a small humidifier from outside. Overall, it's a very good hotel and I highly recommend staying here! Moreover, the hotel provides oxygen. This didn’t seem to be displayed when I booked the room. I was still wondering whether I should change to another hotel. This was beyond my expectations.
