Amazing
GGuest UserLovely little Hotel in Aharen Village. If you want to stay a few nights on the island, instead of only having a day trip, this is an amazing option.
Really delicious meals, nice room, amazing service.
Plus we could book a snorkling tour via the Hotel and rent gear on the other days.
All in all, we had a great time here!

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at Oceana Portvillage Zamami and are grateful to the staff members for their hospitality and assistance. Good location, transfer to/from the port and the beaches, delicious breakfasts and scrupulous approach to cleanliness created a strong positive impression. We are especially grateful for helping us to find an alternative way of getting back to Naha port when the boat we had been planning to return with was cancelled. The staff found another option and booked it for us. We always felt their readiness to assist and make our stay comfortable.

GGuest UserThe location is perfect, with direct access to beautiful Eef beach and to the little village where one can found lots of cute little eateries and a FamilyMart open until late. Very nice staff. I had a sea view room which was just dreamy and I slept every night with the window open, soft breeze and sound of waves. I appreciated that the room was not overly furnished and that all the colors were light which is very suitable for a beach environment. I noticed some reviews mention the place could use a little renovation - true, but this didn’t affect my appreciation at all. Breakfast also good with plenty of choice. If there is some room for improvement I would mention that Wi-Fi was strong only in common areas but in the room it kept logging off. And it would help to have English translation for the breakfast items!

The corner room on the 5 floor can see the Asahi and the beautiful sea from the window
My son was impressed.
The room was clean and it was very nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the room.
It was good to have supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants nearby.
The Wi-Fi connection was bad and I was in trouble, but the staff responded immediately.
I would like to use it again.
The only thing I was worried about was the smell of mold in the entrance and elevator.

Dinner is next level and is amazing best in Japan. Near Port shuttle service is very convenient. Just come and relax as soon as you get to okinawa.

TTravelingAsiaI recently stayed at Sea Friend on Tokashiki Island and I would definitely book here again! We had a room with a private bathroom—nothing fancy, but it was very clean and had a cozy feeling. Plus, breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus!
The location is just steps away from a beautiful beach where you can snorkel and swim, making it perfect for beach lovers like us.
Here are a few tips that might help future guests:
- Free Bus Service: Sea Friend offers a free bus service that takes you from the ferry port to the hotel. Just look for the Sea Friend bus!
- Payment Options: You can pay with Visa or Mastercard, which made things convenient.
- Water Temperature:*The water can be quite chilly, so be prepared for that. As a Sea Friend guest, you can rent equipment at a special rate, including wetsuits, snorkeling gear, and beach umbrellas and chairs.
Overall, this was a perfect choice for us as a traveling couple. It’s modest yet feels like a very good option. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe villa is a bit old, but the whole beach in front of the hotel is very nice, the buffet is also very good, there is a free shuttle bus from the port to the hotel, but remember to call in advance to inform the boat. I like it and will come again next time

RRCSSThe room is fully equipped and clean. The most frustrating thing is the self-service check-in system, which can be confusing for first-time users. The hotel did not provide a check-in password or QR code, but the automatic check-in system asked for it. I called the hotel immediately but there was no response. Finally, luckily, I met a guest who had already checked in to help. After a series of check-in procedures, such as requiring the guest to take recent photos, take IDs, fill in information, etc., the problem was successfully solved. This guest also complained that he was also crazy when checking in.
In addition, this self-service check-in system also has other problems, such as the Chinese and English versions are different, and the system response is also very slow.
Other aspects are still OK. The room is large, well-equipped, convenient store nearby, and there are many restaurants nearby.

SScottymeffI needed to cancel my booking here due to a big typhoon that had cancelled all boats to Tokashiki island.
Turns out it was non-refund booking. The hotel manager went above and beyond in dealing with my booking agent to get me a refund when she could have just pointed to the no refund sign.
This is the type of person I wish to support so I will be staying here next year when I return to Okinawa.
