One in advance, the image currently used by Trip.com shows another hotel. The Hotel Skoga has a dark rooftop and is now quite awaiting. This is, together with the price, also the biggest criticism point. To offer an old house with small rooms for this price is simply unshameful, even for Icelandic conditions. In addition to the state of the building, the small rooms and the price there was nothing to expose, cleanliness and breakfast were okay. For €50 less per night it might even be worth a recommendation, but not under these circumstances.

The room number and password were not sent before check-in, and the person in charge could not be contacted on the spot. The staff used their personal mobile phones to help contact. After about half an hour of twists and turns and waiting, the check-in went smoothly.
The soundproofing of the hut is not good, and the wind is annoying when I sleep at night, like the volume of a typhoon.

The view is excellent, at the foot of a mountain, it should be a cabin to see the aurora, but unfortunately we did not see the aurora in summer.
The location is not far from Scoga Falls, Seriyaran Falls and Vic Black Beach, these three attractions can choose from here.
The house facilities are very new, the heating is turned on in advance, the Icelanders really don't know how to advertise, and the good house is like a rough house. The housekeeper's English is not good, but the communication is still clear. Other comments are helpful, you can call the password until they answer the phone, if you can't, you can also take a chance on the spot, and you will see the women who clean up the house working nearby.

Overall good, it is very unexpected to have such a beautiful farmhouse in such a village. It is completely hotel-style management and the breakfast is great! The room is a bit small, but the window looks out and the view is invincible. It is only a 10-minute drive from Skoga Falls and Solhaima Glacier. Close to the wreckage, you can reach it on foot. The location is very good. The service is very good, the front desk gives a lot of information, very in place, like it here!
