3-Star Hotels in Helsinki

Highly recommended! Self check-in was very convenient, and the location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Viking Line ferry terminal and tram stop #4, so it was wonderful to be able to return to my room and rest within minutes after a long boat trip. There's an ocean nearby and a supermarket. Most major landmarks are within walking distance, and you can even walk to the central station (if you're sending postcards, you can go to the Posti main post office next to the central station; the Moomin postcards sold at the K Supermarket connected to Posti are cheaper than souvenir shops, though not tax-refundable; Posti also sells Moomin stamps and offers mailing services). The room was comfortable and incredibly well-equipped: a dishwasher, various cutlery, pots and pans, a refrigerator, an electric oven (not sure what it's specifically called, but it can microwave, which was super convenient and saved money for heating up food bought from the supermarket), and laundry detergent pods... Hairdryers, irons, and other items can be borrowed from the service station on each floor. There are free washing machines and dryers on the first floor; just sign up for a slot by writing down your room number (it's a good idea to sign up in advance as they're quite popular). There's a sauna on the seventh floor – you can wear a swimsuit and bring a towel. It has lockers, a hairdryer, and restrooms. Definitely worth trying out! The first floor actually has many free facilities, such as a kitchen, a game room (I ended up taking photos here instead of my room 😂), an office, and meeting rooms. Next door, there's a large gym that guests can use for free, but I didn't have time to try it out this trip. Also, if you buy drinks, you can save the bottles and cans to recycle at the nearby K Supermarket. There's a recycling machine in the corner of the supermarket where you can get back the container deposit charged for drinks!

The location is extremely convenient; the train station for the airport and city center is just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a bus stop nearby too. It's a self check-in hotel. Make sure to remember the main door code before you arrive to enter the building. The room was clean and tidy. My only complaint is that our room was right next to the elevator, which was very noisy. We couldn't get in touch with staff, so we just had to put up with it.

The hotel looks fairly new, and the room has everything you need. You can get a hairdryer from the closet on the floor using your key card. The washing machine right in the room is very convenient. On the downside, the hotel is located far from the city center, and due to railway maintenance, I couldn't use the nearest station; I had to take a bus to get there. I also reduced rating due to cleanliness: there was trash in my room from the previous guest (inside kitchen zone shelves), and the balcony was very dusty, so I had to use a towel to fix it.

The free shuttle bus from the airport runs every 30 minutes, which is very convenient. I booked the shuttle bus to the airport for the next day when I checked in, and they kindly arranged a bus for me even though it was in the afternoon. The room is small, so it's difficult to open a large suitcase. Overall, it was a clean hotel.

Me and my mom needed an apartment to be able to visit family member who was in hospital. We needed a kitchen and a washing machine. The room had both and no problem with those. I suspected kitchen knife would be dull and it was, but I brought a knife sharpener and got it sharp. Otherwise everything in kitchen was okay but stove wasn't that powerful. The building's main door's lock wasn't functioning and we informed about it and it was fixed but only after about a week. Our apartment's lock worked all the time without problem. Also one lamp was broken. Mom said it was cold there and it wasn't exactly warm there, good enough for me and blankets were really thick. I complained about coldness and a serviceman came there to do something to radiators but it didn't really change anything. We were there in very early spring. It was 0C outside at night and 5-10C at daytime. There was some communication errors but nothing major and I was able to get hold of someone quickly and easily with the online chat. It was quite clean there except if you take bedclothes off you might enjoy the sight on pillow and blanket. All and all I was quite pleased of the room and stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-25 minute walk from the central station. It's incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, and Oodi Central Library, all within a 20-25 minute stroll. Large shopping malls such as Stockmann, Citymarket, Forum, and Kamppi are also nearby, making it ideal for shopping. The only downside is that the bathroom's ventilation system needs improvement; the air doesn't circulate well, leading to an odor. Additionally, there's no separate shower area, which leaves the floor wet and slippery after a shower. Due to its ideal location and price, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Helsinki.

There's nothing else to complain about, just that it's a bit far. It's a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and it was a bit tough dragging luggage up the slope. This is an older apartment, but all the facilities are complete. There's a fridge, an iron, a microwave, and a kettle. Overall, it's considered clean, even though it's genuinely old.

Very beautiful hotel and the staff was friendly with a smile. The room I entered was not cleaned and I changed the room immediately when I told him. It was a quick and nice response. The cleaning was kind to call me if I was in trouble. The facility itself is very beautiful! The sauna was also the best Amenities such as toothbrush were not attached. Also, it is high to stay alone, so it is recommended to stay 2 ~ (^^)

I love this place! If i ever come back to Finland i will definitely stay here again. It’s right in the city centre and walking distance to the main city’s attractions . You can even walk to Senate Square!! The place itself is very clean, very complete with kitchen appliances which and also Muslim friendly as it got bidet… it is easy to check in with the code as well!!

The location is excellent, and the room is spacious and very clean overall. What sets this place apart—especially for a European hotel—is the amenities. It has a fridge, microwave, and a kettle. It has even a bidet sprayer (bum gun), which is a fantastic and highly appreciated touch for Middle Eastern travelers. It was my first time staying at a hotel with no physical reception (everything is accessed via key codes), which felt a little unusual at first, but it worked perfectly. A great choice for a short stay!
