A neighbor woke me up in the morning while checking out of the hotel. The staff was very polite, helpful, and attentive to my complaints."

"Wonderful hotel we booked on a trip.com deal. For a 1 - 3 night stay the hotel is perfect, very elegant entrance and clean throughout. The beds were comfortable, the washroom was modern, and the room even had a tiny kitchenette. I have to say the room was slightly smaller than I was expecting but for a couple + a toddler on a short stay, it suit us quite comfortably. The breakfast was rich in variety too. Hightly recommend, would stay again! One side note, the hotel pool/sauna was only open until 10AM in the morning, closed during the day, then open again after 5PM, not a deal breaker but it's nice to know ahead of time. Enjoy!"

"Room was clean and with all the necessities needed. Good breakfast options. We asked the reception to borrow some slippers to use in the Pool area but they said those were only for certain rooms. We could not use the chromecast (tv went black as soon as we entered chromecasting and no options to connect appeared), asked reception about this and they rebooted the system but we could still not use it. There were no other apps to use so without this feature the tv had limited options. When we wanted to call down to the reception about this, the phone in the room didn't work. Overall, clean and good room but definitely lacking in service."

"Executive room: The semi-deluxe room is larger and faces the street (it is really not recommended to stay on weekends. There is the hottest bar in the city downstairs. It is really exciting on weekends. It is like living next to a KTV, listening to loud music and singing to sleep) Of course, jet lag may make you sleepy, but it does not affect your sleep, but the executive rooms along the street are really not recommended on weekends! The deluxe room is a patio interior view room. I personally think it is quieter and more suitable for sleeping! Needless to say, the breakfast was very good! There are many varieties in Northern Europe, and there are many homemade delicacies in the hotel! Highly recommend having hotel breakfast! The executive lounge is on the second floor, and the upper lounge opens on the right. From 2:00 to 6:00 every afternoon, there are some snacks, afternoon tea, fruit cookies, chocolates, etc. You can order a variety of wine, coffee, and drinks. Last order at 5:30pm. They are all free, the only ones that charge are those listed on the list. Others are free to use in the executive lounge. Executive rooms are available at any time. Overall it's very good, from service to hardware and software! Unless you particularly like drinking and having afternoon tea, you can choose an executive room. If you want to have a good rest, choose a deluxe room~"

"The location is the absolute best… right across the tram, few minutes walk to the train station and within walking distance to multiple parts of Helsinki city centre. The way to the room was an odd one, spooky, but as a Halloween lover I preferred it. My room was on the 5th floor, but to get to it you had to take the lift to the 3rd floor. THEN walk to a different part of the Marski building (it looked like the original perhaps before it expanded) to go to the 5th floor. There was a vintage style lift with the gate you had to close and everything. I quite enjoyed that. There is a mini fridge, a TV and the bed was comfortable. The AC was brilliant, especially on hot days and the shower was great as well. I accidentally booked on two separate ones and the desk helped me stay in one room with ease, though I understandably had to pay a bit of a fee as my current room was an upgrade from the other. My critique would be that I wish there was more attention to detail for the room service. It seems they don’t vacuum or replace the sheets/used cups, or properly clean, they only take out the bins. Also my room tag tore apart from previous stays overuse but it was never replaced — the one that says Do Not Disturb. I would absolutely stay here again, however. The Finns are great."

"This hostel is super close to the ferry terminal (though only one of the three operators) and within walking distance of the city center, with a tram running every 10 minutes. It's clean, tidy, and quiet, and the attic sauna is a great bonus for those who use it. The front desk staff speak good English and are helpful with various requests. The rooms are decent enough, though you have to make your own bed, and the bedside lamp is too bright, illuminating both beds instead of just one. There's one kitchen and one bathroom (separate for men and women, of course) per floor. The optional breakfast is very poor – I can't recall such a meager menu, and I visit several places a year. For instance, there's practically nothing for vegans, only one coffee from a thermos, tea, and what I think was some kind of compote (forget about juice), and only one hot item. The unmade beds and poor breakfast really detract from the overall impression, in my opinion. If these things don't bother you, you'll be happy, especially considering the prices of other accommodations in the area..."
