"Best choice for this price. Room was small but cozy, the best budget hotel we had during this trip in Phillipines (we had three ones before). Rooftop terrace is perfect, we take once our meal to eat it in the evening and we enjoy it. The location was comfortable for our needs as well."
"The room was worth the price. Quite clean and neat. The bed is comfortable though the sheets are pretty thin so would suggest bringing extra blankets if you get cold easily. It was a good stay for just a night and it’s quite close to the port, just a 15 min walking distance. The front desk person was kind too."
"This is the best place to stay in Bohol. Everything is superb specially the FRONT DESK guy who is very helpful and friendly and will taking care of you if anything you need. His like working in a five star hotel. The food preparation is superb. It’s very recommendable place to stay trust me. Will be going back there. We check in 8/8/22 and check out 8/10/22. "
"The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. But it's a bit far from downtown maybe 10 mins away. And the front desk very knowledgeable about the tourist spot here."
"The hotel is well situated, but the design is outdated. Bathroom for example doesn’t have the curtain so when you shower all the water will flow out and will make it slippery and dangerous for kids. Lack of enough towels. Outside room is nice as it has big space for kids to run."
"Have been very flexible with me on weird transport situations. Invited me in their family for new year. Very, very close to the port.
A bit aging, could benefit from some investments.
Overall, a great place to stay when arriving and leaving Bohol. But maybe wait to see in person before booking a long stay in the place, many great hostels in very nice settings all around the island."
"I recently stayed at Soledad Hotel and had a pleasant experience. The location is convenient, close to key spots in the city, and easy to access. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities I needed. I especially liked the comfortable bed and the quiet environment, which made for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with fresh options each morning.
Overall, I had a great stay at Soledad Hotel. It’s a good choice for both business and leisure travelers. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others."
"Our room is near in the road my husband doesn't sleep because of the sound of motorcycle and etc. From 3rd floor we change our room to 6floor. the locations its great malls, restaurants, massage etc. Are near.
Hotel staffs are nice and foods also are delicious ."
"Convenient location if you're taking the ferry.
We stayed at Wregent for one night before catching the ferry, and the location was perfect—super close to the port. The place is definitely old and could use some updates, but it works fine for a short stay.
The room was surprisingly spacious, which was nice, but the beds were a bit too firm for our taste. Nothing fancy, but if you're just passing through, it does the job."
"The service is very good, praise the patience of the front desk manager, the breakfast is very good, American breakfast, a variety of choices, ready to cook. The front desk can call a special car, which is more convenient. There is also a restaurant downstairs, which is cheap and delicious. Many locals and students go there. You can add meals for free and you can eat all you need. Stayed here for two days and felt very comfortable. That is, some rooms are not sufficiently ventilated.
The location is good, 20 minutes walk to the city."

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hostel staff were welcoming. There is a cat that is very friendly. It is close to the city center. There are many cafes and restaurants with local cuisine. Taxi is hit and miss as the address was hard to find when we hailed a taxi from the airport. The staff were very good at welcoming us
JJoyRzThe location is the main reason I booked this hotel (just 5mins walk from the port). But their awesome service made my stay even more pleasant - all smiles from all the staff!👍🏻👏🏻
The room is clean, with just enough space for you to move around and the thing I like most is their full-length mirror. They also have a hot/cold shower with good water supply, however they just don’t have bidet in the rest room. But then overall, it’s a fabulous stay. I would definitely stay here again😊
GGuest UserTwo single beds, much like the type of Super 8 Hotel in our country, there is a shopping mall nearby, you can eat and go shopping, the first floor is a supermarket! The front desk helped me introduce a driver guide, chartered for a long time to go to the Chocolate Hills Eye Monkey, etc. It feels very good, you need to introduce it to you.
FFemmy SaragaAn awesome place to get! The place is very peaceful. The staff were super nice!
Kudos to Kuya JR he's been very nice and helpful to us. Great service and very friendly. The location is very accessible to all our needs. Will stay here again if we visit BOHOL again.
QQixingThe room is quite decent. I saw a few small ants on the first day. It's harmless. The hotel is very close to the port, is that okay?
The best thing is that the service is great and the Filipino staff are friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserAmenities, do not expect much, they only provide water dispenser downstairs with reusable mugs; bedsheets are thin & a bit old but tolerable, looks clean and smells good, & blankets are ok; with 1 pillow only each bed; inside bathroom has 2 pcs small soap (though I saw 1 tiny cockroach inside, hu hu hu!). We enjoyed their TV with netflix. Staffs are kind & very approachable, & helpful as well. With limited parking (2-3 cars).
RRobert J KerrWoken up at 06:45am by owner playing music. Who then had a loud telephone conversation under my window.
They offer a budget room - no kettle, no coffee, no bottled water, no toiletries, but charge a higher price.
Breakfast is advertised as included, but it is only partly. You are allowed 200 pesos free (1 coffee is 100, 1 French toast is 100), after that, you have to pay for anything additional.
On arrival, I informed staff that my toilet was broken as the flush did not work. They told me they'd look into it. When I returned, I was informed that I was right, it was broken, and I was given a bucket to flush.
MMaricelIts always been my apartelle everytime I go to Bohol. The receptionists are accommodating♥️.It's clean . But I kinda hear some noise from people staying even late hours but that's fine. The price is good. But there was an incident I went back at 11 something in the evening from Alona Panglao for a night out and the apartelle is close. I knocked until Tatay finally open the door for me😂.I will be back there again soon!! And by the way you can order them a very cheap and yummy breakfast served right in your room. Thank you Mellow! The nearest mall by the way is Island city mall. If i were you book now! And explore amazing Bohol!
GGuest UserSo I went to bohol for a wedding and then after the wedding we stayed here in OYO 499. I did not set my expectations high because it was cheapest I can find. When I went inside the guy carried my things upstairs which is a plus since we are on the 3rd floor even without me telling him. The check out was also good and fast. What I did not like was the fact that the backup generators went on and off. So it went on for 1 to 2 hours then turned off and then went again for an hour then turned on again. Overall I know it was not their fault there is no electricity but would have been good if the generators were kept always on.
GGuest UserI have stayed many times at Red Doorz calcetta street
Same room every time...but needs completely redecorating and maintenance work..management very friendly.needs life...pictures on walls..Eat.
