A traditional onsen hotel, recently renovated and facilities modernised. The twin bed room is large - about 50 sq m in size. In addition, there is a balcony overlooking an excellent view. The breakfast and dinner buffet are fine, though not very special. I like the Japanese style dinner better. The hotel is situated inside the mountain. Access is not easy. There are no shops nearby.

As Takachiho Gorge is comparatively hard to get to we felt much better staying in Takachiho for a night. And it's great to find a modern hotel in Takachiho, the front desk was nice and helpful, note that it is such a small town and dining options are not a lot so I would recommend have dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Hotel has a large parking lot and breakfast is great (a bit wait in the morning during peak time)

The room was large and stayed with 4 families, but the cospa is too good. During the Obon festival, it was crowded and some of the front desk staff were not accustomed to the beginner mark, so there was a part that was not explained enough. I went down to the front desk several times in another time zone and asked a lot, but I was very happy to teach you carefully. I was grateful that I could lend my children's pillows and towels, and there was a welcome drink and shaved ice service. When it was crowded, the washing machine was not empty, so I went to the coin laundry only for drying. Please note that the parking lot will be full depending on the time of day. A remote entrance like an old private house. There is an atmosphere. Stay in the desired type. There was an open-air bath and an inner bath, and the open-air bath overlooking Mt. Aso was the best, and there was an enclosure, so I can't see it. The room is two-way and wide 々, and the amenities are also substantial. The whole room is clean as a new building. In the morning and evening, you will be given a private room in front of Kagura dono. The coldest time in February, the air conditioner was not very effective, and the foot was very cold, so I asked you to lend me a knee hanger, but it was thin, so I felt grateful to prepare a thick one. I did. The remote control of the air conditioner was not shared or in the private room. Because Nakai is older, it took time every time I asked for something. Before dinner, there was a Japanese drum dance at Kagura dono. It was splendid. It was cold, but it is worth a look. (It is better to confirm only on Saturdays and days.) The dishes were usually delicious. There was a long slope to go to the room away from the mother shop. Drinking around and flapping down! Watch out. It was an inn I wanted to stay again.
