"Excellent stay at this cute little place.
Loved everything about this hotel including the breakfast, location, and scenic views. You can't beat this place for the price.
It's also so close (within walking distance) to the Tasch railway station and parking is free. They even let me park for 3-4 hours for free after checking out while I visited Zermatt. The front desk girl (I forgot her name) was so nice and helpful giving me some great tips while I visited Zermatt.
Wonderful experience overall."
"Select no others than this!!
You will not regret it. For they have the amazing view of the mountains from their balcony, and a great access even for the disabled.
The room i stayed were located at the ground floor, thus they have wheelchair accessible spaces and even a sitting area for the shower which i think is a lovely touch to either elderly or disabled.
Cleanliness is top notch and breakfast is great with variety. Pick the window seat like the lovely lady at the restaurant suggested us to as we are the first to arrive for breakfast every morning 😆
If you come during the winter, the room have direct access to the snow outside (check out my new outdoor fridge 🙈) and the bathroom floor is well heated for you too.
I’d definitely recommend this if this is your first time visiting."
"Newly opened hotel. You don't have to stay in Zermatt to go to the Matterhorn. It's very convenient to stay here directly. It's next to the train station and you can reach Zermatt in 12 minutes."

"The hotel is on the edge of the train station. There are three rooms, which are reasonably priced. There is a coop supermarket next to it. There is also a fast food restaurant opposite the hotel. It is open late, has many types, tastes good, and has a large amount. Our mother and daughter order one. Very full. To the town of Zermatt, you need to take a shuttle train, you can use the Swiss Pass, the train is a few minutes away, the running time is very short, and there are cars late at night, with beautiful scenery along the way. The hotel has a complimentary breakfast, which is very tasty and can be eaten more satisfactorily."
"The experience is good, the room is clean and new. There is a coffee machine, which is free of charge for the people living. Hot water also provided 24/7. The location is a bit far comparing with the other hotel, and it is close to the river, it is a bit noise in the summer time as the heavy flow of the river. But I will still recommend it to my friend if they want a budget choice in Zermatt."
"Location is a bit remote. Apart from this, the hotel is excellent. The balcony of my room could durectly see Mt. Matterhon. The breakfast was excellent."
"Trip.com did not state the linen fee charges per person on their website. When I arrived I was shocked that a 4CHF per person per night has turned in a 78 CHF payment which is a huge discrepancy. However, it took me about 2 hours and I resolved this with the service reception of Alpen. There is no main reception in this lobby but the service providers were superb. The room is amazingly spacious and clean and it was an overall lovely stay thanks to the great service and comfort of the room."
"The hotel is one of the most satisfying hotels I have stayed in in Switzerland these days.
The first day I came to Zermatt was snowy and I went up the mountain but didn’t see the Matterhorn.
Unexpectedly, I saw the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain from the hotel balcony the next morning.
so lucky
Hotel service is very good
There are outdoor hot springs, etc.
I don’t know if it’s because of my diamond membership. They upgraded me to a room upstairs. Very good. Thank you."
"Location was really convenient and was just a 5-8 min walk from the main train station with a supermarket just 3 min away. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful too! The hotel provides free laundry and dryer for all guests and that was really helpful as it was the last few days of our holiday and we had a bunch of clothes to wash 😮💨"
