"The seaside hotel in remote areas of Scotland is quiet and peaceful, free from the hustle and bustle of the world. Pure Scottish cuisine. Although the hotel is small, the staff is warm and cheerful, and the Scottish style room is warm and comfortable, suitable for slow taste."
"Strong WiFi in the room and the owners are both very approachable. Nice bed to sleep 😘"

"Room was cramped, felt like a travel lodge bolted to a nice old building. The curtains did not block much light, the pole being very wonky. The bathroom was not of a very good standard. For the price we expected more than just a basic stay.
Breakfast service was unusual to say the least - we arrived early to the restaurant and asked if it would be OK. The waiter responded with ”well, I can hardly kick you out can I?”."
"Nice old school hotel.
Good place for a one night stay over.
Only problem was that people on floor above us came in after midnight and made a racket stomping around and playing music till 2 the morning.
That's the drawback of wooden floors in old buildings.
Breakfast was decent."

"We had a sea view room which had a great view, but the windows were so dirty and cobwebs in the corners that it actually spoiled that for us. The staff and service they provided was excellent, but however I expected a wider variety of meals but the menu was very limited. It was nice to sit at the tables provided outside when having drinks, but again the metal railings at the tables had a lot of chipped and flaked paint and made the hotel look rather run down. The dining rooms and all the seating areas with lovely leather chairs was very nice on the ground floor, but moving up the stairs there was black tape holding the red tartan carpet together, our room actually had small nails holding the wallpaper on the walls. It all looked great online ,but close up it was rather tired."
