I really loved this hotel. It was a stones throw away from the Shinjuku train station. The room, although very small was very comfortable and cosy. I'd recommend getting breakfast from the top floor. The food was delicious and a great start to the day, also the view from the top floor would just motivate you to go out and get ready to explore. When I am back in Tokyo I will be staying in this hotel again

location ok. 5 mins walk to H line exit 3. Room a bit small. Voice isolation not that good. Can request for inner side room not face to the street when booking or at check in counter. Within 30 mins can reach any popular area in Tokyo overall recommend to stay.

- The receptionist kindly let me check in earlier even though I didn’t ask. - The blanket is just heavy enough to get a good sleep. The capsule walls are very thin, though, and the snoring person below me deprived me of some sleep. I guess this is why they sell earplugs at the reception :) An iron is available for 100 yen, but it is not too strong, and they don't provide an ironing board. The ladder to the top bunk capsule is extremely inconvenient, to the extent that one should be very sober and concentrated to climb it up or down without getting hurt. Or maybe it's just that I'm too big. Overall, a rather good stay, and for quite an affordable price, will be keeping this place in mind for my next time.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and checked out & left our bigger luggages at the hotel conceige as we would like to travel light to other city to visit our friend (staying in Japan) for 2 nights. We came back to stay again with Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku after the short trip. There are also storages at Subway/train station with fee charges apply to store your luggage according to the sizes and storage duration. Great hotel. Excellent customer service. Near the train station. Room is clean and new. WiFi is good. If you are staying in the superior room, do ask for the Mt Fuji view. We stayed on the 19th floor and we can view the beautiful Mt Fuji from our room.

Great area with lots to do around, plus a two minute walk to the nearest train station! I loved it so much that I extended my stay here for a couple days more because I really enjoyed it. It also has a couple of good restaurants and cafe inside the hotel not to mention a convenient store so you literally never have to leave the area if you need anything!

Situated nicely between two subway stations and a few convenience store options (one directly opposite). Extremely pleasant environment next to a middle school, and room was very comfortable. Minor caveat is the tv didn't have many channels or non Japanese options.

its our 2nd time to stay here in this hotel . we loved the location its very near to affordable foods like yoshinoya,sukiya,ramen hidakaya and mcdonalds and a 14mins walk only to ameyoko ueno
