We stayed here for 3 nights & it was one of our best choices ever! We stayed in the Sky View Room, located at the 13th floor. It was pretty spacious as we opted for the Twin Room, so you can open up your luggages rather easily. Comfort wise - beds were pretty comfy in our opinion! The pillow has both a soft & hard side. Toilet wise - clean and pretty spacious. We wowed when we first saw it. Bathtub was nice & shower head flow was good. Plenty of essentials provided. Towels were refreshed daily. Location wise - it's rather nicely located at Asakusa & with a fantastic view of Tokyo Skytree & Senso-Ji temple right from our window. The only downside about the location was that it was quite a walk from the train stations, hence you might often get lost around the neighbourhood as there are many different stations, streets and turns. So if possible, do use Luggage Forwarding service if you can as there are many staircases at the train station. The only main irk for us during the stay was that there were only 3 washer+dryers in the laundry room, so we did have to wait for a pretty long time to do our laundry as most cycles were at least 2hrs long - so if you didn't manage to snag one, you might have to wait for a long time or worst - wake up at an odd hour to do your laundry to avoid the crowd. But other than that, we did enjoy our stay at The Kanzashi! Will definitely consider staying here again when the price is right! 😊

The location is very good, very close to Sensoji Temple and the shopping street, it is convenient to go to the Skytree, but it is a little far from Asakusa Station. It is more difficult to pull the suitcase from the station. This time I lived in a Japanese-style room. Three tatami mats can be tiled in a room. It is very comfortable. You can see the Skytree when you open the curtains. There is a small bar on the tenth floor for free to drink juice and watch the night view outside. The only downside is the front desk service. Whether it is a problem with self-check in, a problem with swiping the card or an unsuccessful elevator swiping the card upstairs, the front desk staff did not take the initiative to help.

If you are a newbie westerner in Japan (tourist or just started working), I really recommend to stay your first days/months in Sakura hostel. They provide many cultural events and meetups which helped me to immerse into Japaneese culture. They are the best boost for the first days of your trip. During my 6-month stay in Japan, I lived in Shinjuku and also in Sakura Asakusa hostel. I liked Asakusa hostel's location more because it has a traditional vibe which I enjoyed. The best option for me was the fact that I could work remotely in the lobby and have my online meetings with access to coffee and tea. Toilets and bath are super clean. Our room's view was outstanding with a balcony. It was so nice they included breakfast. don't expect a fancy one. But we bought our own cereal or honey to complement it. Then you can say their breakfast is a time saver. I recommend staying at Sakura Hostel and I actually plan to go back there in the next year.

I saw good reviews from other branches, so I booked this one. The hotel is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats. There are hot springs where you can take a bath. The breakfast is Japanese-style and rich in variety. I go back to the hotel every day to take a bath. After eating the hotel breakfast in the morning, I am full of energy for the day. It is really good.

Excellent location! I wanted to visit Sky tree in Tokyo and Asakusa hotel was in in a prime location. Not to mention the view was absolutely fantastic. We could see the Sky tree in all its glory right from the window of our hotel. The hotel itself was spacious which is a luxury in Japan. I mean, the whole experience was just amazing! Anytime I want to return to Tokyo, Asakusa hotel will definitely be at the top of my list.

This time I stayed at the Lotte Residences Asakusa in Tokyo. I loved it because of the panda room (hahaha). What shocked me was that when I got up on the first morning, I found that there was a temple in my room (right next to it?) , there are actually (one after another tombstones) inside. Although I said ”I'm not afraid! It's a lie”, it was still a quite interesting experience! Because in Taiwan, there is no such custom of ”getting along day and night” with the tombstones~

Panda themed hotel in a very convenient location in Ueno. It is just a few minutes away by foot to the subway lines, and it is a great place as your final hotel in Japan since the Keisei Ueno station (Skyliner to Narita) is nearby as well. Check-in was easy using a self-service kiosk with the guidance of staff. We were also given a panda themed tote bag which contained stickers and two file folders. In the hallway leading to the hotel rooms there were also edits of famous art pieces with pandas, and in the room, panda sheets, cushions and a huge plush. The hotel was refurbished just a few months back so everything was spotless. Would stay here again.

This location is good, the hotel is old, it feels like KTV changed. The bed has control equipment and the sound is not bad. There is a free drink in the fridge. The room is quite large. Smoking is available indoors. The bathtub is good and the bed is very comfortable. The big air conditioner is a bit dirty. In the morning, the old man downstairs will call to check out. Check in on Saturday, check in at 11 o'clock on Sunday. Usually it is 12 o'clock. The overall hotel is old but the location is really good. Toiletries are very easy to use. There is also a microwave.

Very close to the Asakusa's attractions. Miki (the staff) was very helpful during check-in. We had the bunkbed with the mini balcony. The room was nice and clean. The size was good for the Tokyo's room size standard. It was easy to go to from Narita. Our train ride did not require a transfer. It is a 10 min walk to the subway station. There are less number of subway lines going to Asakusa. I would stay at Shinjuku next time, Shinjuku has more subway and rail lines which make it more convenient. We used the Tsukuba Express line because it was closer to the hostel and transferred at Akihabara.
