Hotel Wing International Tokyo Akabane Reviews

The hotel is closely located to Akabane JR station, which can provide quick, cheap and convenient transfers to local points of interest like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and more. Akabane itself is quite nice and has a shopping mall with chain retailers, plenty of convenience stores and places to eat/drink. The room was slightly larger than the APA hotel we stayed in after this one. Rooms this size are typical for Tokyo so this is to be expected. There is about enough room to store two large luggage’s, two smaller luggage’s and to open one luggage at a time. One thing to note is the bathrooms can be a challenge for taller people like me, try not to bang your head! Our booking included breakfast, which was nice. There is a choice of Japanese and western option and drinks are self serve. We tried both and preferred the Japanese option. We didn’t have breakfast every day though as we were quite busy. Luggage can be stored for free before check in and/or after check out. Overall very happy with the stay here. While I don’t have any room pictures, I’ve posted a picture of the view from the room we had with a really nice sunset.

Extremely near to the metro. It is like 1 min walk. Beside the hotel is full of restaurants and shoppings. Extremely convenient. Only downside is the power socket in the hotel room is limited, it only provide 2.

The hotel is very close to Akabane Station. Exit from the west exit, cross the road and walk to the right for a while. There is a good Chinese restaurant at the door. The fried chicken there is especially delicious. Hotel: Clean and tidy. Although it is not cleaned, used towels and garbage can be placed at the door. When you come back, clean towels will be hung on the door handle. There are various toiletries in the hotel lobby. Transportation: It is very convenient to travel. Akabane Station has Saikyo Line, Shonan Shinjuku Line, Keihin Tohoku Line, etc. to Ueno, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Tokyo Station. Shinkansen 🚄 just passes through the elevated station without stopping. Shopping: There are two depar**ent stores across the road on the left side of the west exit of the station. There is a supermarket in the basement where you can buy a lot of food. Lawson 24-hour store is right in front of the hotel. In short, this is a very good hotel and I will go there again in the future.

The hotel is very new, has good facilities and is very modern. Completely meet various travel life requirements. The hotel service is super good and the service staff is very friendly. The hotel has an excellent transportation location, 240 meters from the JR station and only 3 minutes to arrive. Take public transportation from the hotel to Shinjuku Station in 19 minutes and Tokyo Station in 25 minutes. The hotel room is well soundproofed and you won't feel noisy because it's close to the station. There are various shops and restaurants around the hotel, and shopping, dining and drinking are just a few minutes away. Cosmeceuticals, mid-to-high-end outdoor products, etc. can all be found in one place. Close to Akabane Ichiban Street, you can enjoy all kinds of drinks. One thing worth mentioning about Wing's Akabane store is that there is a large fresh food restaurant - Fuji Garden Bean Akabane - right in front of it. This food hall can satisfy all your requirements for Japanese raw and cooked food, and the sashimi and sushi inside are fresh and cheap as compared to the fishing boat wharf. Fruits and vegetables, instant noodles, tempura fried octopus, and desserts are all there. There are many local old men and women rushing to buy sashimi. Does the hotel have any shortcomings? Yes, it is a common shortcoming of Japanese hotels that ordinary tourists face, and that is the room area. But it must be said that the cost-effectiveness of Wing room size is almost the highest in Tokyo. The 14-square-meter single and double rooms basically allow you to lay two suitcases flat and don't open them normally. The 1.4-meter-wide double bed is good for two people. If you are not rich, then coming here is definitely the best choice.

First of all, turn right after exiting the West Exit of JR Akabane Station and you will be there within 5 minutes. There is Lawson downstairs and a supermarket opposite. There is a shopping street behind the supermarket with cheap haircuts, massage parlors and can dos (¥100) stores, sports stores, department stores. There are GU, Muji, Uniqlo, and Donki around the station. You can find skewers, ramen, and grilled meats. Hotel rooms in Japan are all small, but the two 29-inch cabinets can be opened, but there is no room for them. The hotel lobby provides self-service daily necessities for free use, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, slippers, cotton buds, cotton pads, toner, facial cleanser, and cleansing oil. There are even earplugs and mouthwash. My favorite is the hair tie provided, which is very convenient. Although it is only cleaned once every three days, new towels are placed at the door every morning, and garbage can also be placed at the door for them to clean up. The only disadvantage is that if you are a foreigner and buy a 24, 48, 72-hour subway flight, you have to transfer to JR before you can go out or return to the hotel.

Akabane is always my treasured place. Although it is my first time to visit this hotel, it is easy to find. It is not far from the subway station. There are convenience stores, McDonald's, KFC and Starbucks nearby. The location is so convenient. There are even local specialty food stores. There are discounts at night. The service at the front desk is also very good. Check-in is very smooth.

The hotel is very nice and clean. I stayed there for ten days. It is only 3 minutes away from the tram station, and 2 minutes away if you walk faster. It is quieter, there is no nightlife, it is safer, and there are no uncomfortable drunk people. The hotel staff is very good, very patient, and some are good at English. I am not good at English or Japanese, and they can use translation software. I lost something and they took the initiative to keep it for me. I had forgotten it. Thank you. This tram station is very convenient to go anywhere. There is a review that is too good, so I won't repeat it. It is a good choice. The size of this room is a little bigger than that of the same price.

I stayed here for two days to refresh myself. It was very close to the station and there were lots of shops nearby so it was very convenient. However, the breakfast was only one plate so I had breakfast nearby. I'm sure it must be a struggle with so many restaurants around, but it would be even more fun if they offered breakfast in some other way.

Very nice hotel. There is everything you need. Nearby is a cool Fuji garden supermarket, we got mega delicious sashimi and cooking there one evening when we were tired and didn’t want to go anywhere. The location is great. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Shibuya, and a 3-minute walk from the station.

The single room is not too small. The self-service is very convenient. The hotel is in an excellent location. A few hundred meters to the south is Akabane Station; about a thousand meters to the north is Arakawa. The surrounding commercial facilities are complete, and there are many choices for dining. This is my second stay and I feel at home.

The room I booked was very clean. I was impressed that they used environmentally friendly materials. thank you very much. Also, when going to Tokyo I would like to use it.
