Very disappointing for a 5-star hotel, the white house has lost its antan faste .... We arrive on the floors of rooms on unsucked moquettes for months certainly so dirty, The room is spacious (which is the 5-star criterion), but which is vetus and needs refreshment, the bathroom is spacious but without comfort and especially with toilet articles already used .... The bed remains comfortable. The breakfast is a nightmare ....no worthwhile of a 5-star . We need to ask for a winehouse, we need to pick up the thermos funds to have it because they don't recharge, the cheese that dates is not known when and the dry and dehydrated charcuterie. Very strongly that the responsible people realize what is a real 5 stars and even in Tunisia .... Open your eyes!!!

This hotel is such a great find in Tunis! Not only if the location superb, literally at the entrance to the Medina where shops and food vendors are steps away, but it’s also such a pretty and unique hotel. The decor is gorgeous and the views overlooking the Medina square is great for people watching. Service is great as well! The staff is very helpful. Everything felt very safe as well. I highly recommend this unique stay while in Tunis!

I lived twice for a total of four days. The first time the quilt was already used, the other bird's hair was above, and it was good to go to the front desk to clean up. After an hour, I didn't come up, but I found it again. The waiter didn't come for 2 hours before and after. Finally, he found him to remove all of our sheets, quilts, and pillowcases. What a fabulous place to stay. A beautiful Art Deco Building right in the centre with easy access to the Medina, shops, restaurants, railway, etc. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly from the Reception to the dining room staff and housekeeping. On arrival we were allocated a room on the lst floor at the rear of the building. There was a small block of flats not far from the hotel building where unfortunately there was a dog that barked a lot of the time which included late into the night and very early morning. It appeared to be left out on the balcony. I don't know what the hotel can do about this but it is a problem. The next day we were given a room on the 3rd floor at the front of the building. So thank you to the gentleman at reception who arranged this. It was perfect, no noise and like the first room was of a decent size and comfortable. The breakfast spread was great with hot and cold dishes and a lovely selection of cheeses, breads, pastries and much much more. A true feast. A well deserved Excellent rating (despite the barking dog) and we will definitely stay again.

We had booked a triple room instead just arrived we received a up grade in small suites ! Very gentle!! Room with double bed, kitchen room and bed sofa and bathroom in modern style. I felt home.The place is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We asked for the missing covers for the bed sofa and immediately served us with coats and covers just out of the washing machine. It is a pity that there is no restaurant that serves for dinner, because there are no fast food or restaurants with local kitchen, but only a room next to the hotel Maia that serves coffee and sandwich/sweet sandwiches. We went down for breakfast the morning and I must say that the whole thing was delicious, especially fresh bean juice and bread. We stayed for a night all in quiet ... Hotel Maia is excellent price and pleasant stay. The only negative side is the lack of availability of dinner in hotels and the distance from the center of the capital for the rest is all excellent!

In Tunis for one night, our manager reserved us to the diplomat.. and what error!!! This pseudo 4 stars is 15 minutes from Carthage Airport. Vesty decor, smell of cracked walls ...a hotel over time. The rooms are a valid copy of the hall and the rest of the hotel, with a 70's brine where everything is refreshed, used...Even the TV channels were in fashion.. analogical!! The only positive note, the kindness of the staff who prepared a late dinner despite the closure of the rest.
