Although the small bar next to the entrance is very unique, it is a bit intimidating because of its small size. "Nice little hotel. Not far from Paddy's Market at the top of town. Breakfast was just fine. Barista Coffee was very good. The staff was nice and friendly. Clean and tidy, but probably due for a lick of paint. Recommended."

"Location is good - close to China town and 20 min walk to Central Station. Cleanliness is ok - the place is a bit old so there are stains on the sofa but it does not impact the overall experience much. The room is quite spacious as well as the bathroom. Could be a bit noisy though cause insulation is not very good - you can hear someone cough/ close the door/ speaking outside."

"Rarely write hotel reviews, but the old Clare Hotel is a very satisfying hotel. From the location to the hotel facilities to the service and price/performance ratio, I feel that it is a particularly good experience. If I go to Sydney next time, I will choose here. Location: Located in the center of Sydney, there is a very characteristic street below, and it is very lively on weekend nights. You can go to the supermarket in less than three minutes on foot. On the surface, they are trying to please the company because they save compensation and will get more bonuses at the end of the year. Maybe they can get a March 8th Red Flag Bearer next year... They have lost the trust of the guests in the platform at a deep level. They are not good birds if they don't know how to cherish their feathers!"
