I recently stayed at the Eklo Lyon hotel and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is incredibly clean and well-maintained, with a modern and stylish decor that creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. But what really stood out to me was the friendly and accommodating staff. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely welcoming and eager to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Lyon, with the Tram conveniently located right in front of the hotel. This makes it incredibly easy to get to the city center and explore all that Lyon has to offer. Additionally, the hotel has a great vibe, with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The breakfast at the hotel was also a highlight. There were plenty of options available, with something to suit every taste. From fresh pastries to eggs, everything was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, I highly recommend the Eklo Lyon hotel. The combination of its clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast make it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Lyon.

The hotel is a very good hotel and is a good hotel. The rooms are sparate in the 1970s, which is more glacial despite the heat in the ground. Traces of humidity at the ceiling just above the bed head. Let au matlas défoncé, certainly we feel well the resorts. The bathroom is very date with the washing spots, black traces on the walls left by a wall accessory (hair dry?) missing, mosquito shower joints, hair and hair in the washing and shower! ... And it was the same for my 4 colleagues who had also booked. To avoid absolutely. And it is a 3 stars!!! ???

I am 5ft3, 55 kgs and felt claustrophobic in that bathroom, you could hardly move around. Awful. We, as a family, are used to staying in basic hotels when we are only having a stop over during our journeys but this one was beyond basic. As said before tiny bathroom, the mattress on our bed was terrible (collapsing on one side). We booked a family room for the 4 of us and once all the beds were made we literally could not moved around the room, no space to sit or walk around. Dreadful. It was clean though so that is one thing. The parking was gated and you could walk in 15 mins to a McDonald's, the area felt safe enough. The staff was very pleasant but the evening staff could not speak English properly. Only one towel per person no hand towel or floor mat.

After 3 nights (payed in advance)passed at the hotel from 5 to 8 July 2023 I extended one night from 8 to 9 in agreement with the hosts paying initially with breakfasts In this night from 8 to 9 while I was sleeping, I receive a call at midnight and half of the night watcher to specify that: as I wasn't here, I should go and set the room. I tell him he wakes me up and I'm in my bedroom. He intimates me to go down to pay my room immediately. I remind him that he just wakes up and that I will fix before I leave, as agreed on the request for extension. He replies: ”If you don't go down to pay next, I go up.” Twenty minutes later, he came to my door and I woke up again and after opening, I tell him that it is not a question that I'm going down to pay now. Following these repeated incidents, I don't find my sleep because of the surprise and anger related to her attitude I talk about this morning to the host employee who is surprised by such behavior. I don't think I'm guilty of this night of hotel, but the employee tells me that if I don't pay it is to her to pay. I'm still waiting for his call despite two calls from me.

Hotel basic avec le juste nécessaire pour une nuit d'hôtel. Literie moyenne on s'est levé tout les 2 avec le mal au dos. Petit déjeuner sympas ainsi que son personnel. Secteur de l'hôtel pas très bien fréquenté ainsi que certains occupants. En famille ou en couplé privilégié un autre B&B sûrement. Parking plein extérieur donc compliqué de se garer et on a essayer le parking souterrain de l'hôtel mais on a jamais réussi à y accéder.

very good!!!! except for air conditioning in the rooms, and the nausea smell of the moquette, ( foot smell) the cliff is badly located ( no freshness ) the dirty swimming pool, breakfast at the top!!!

This very new building is easy to spot whilst walking (10 minutes) from Bron airport.The foyer and staff are smart, although the electric revolving door is a menace after dark- the curved side panels are invisible . We had a third floor room; although there is only one small lift, inadequate for the size of hotel, the stairs are very easy.There was an excellent view,and no sound from adjacent rooms or outside.Basic comfort was good,with a rather soft bed,but excellent aircon,and a window which both opened fully and had opaque curtains.There was light and space for writing,and a sort of wall mounted seat at which two people could eat on an article like a hospital bed table.The stowage was the usual budget type fixed shelf and coat rail, without a drawer or a safe. Again at budget level ,there was no fridge,but the coffee machine could be used to make tea. The complicated modern bathroom arrangements required three sliding doors,and one hinged, to enclose a space large enough to provide a bath,but instead there was the trendy walk in shower and almost useless shallow basin with no plug.I suppose I should be grateful that the shower did not flood the room. Breakfast was in a rather small room ,with very basic furniture, but as good as the 4 star hotel I am at present occupying in Nice!

The guy in charge of the night shift (Eliman or something like this?) can teach hotels around Lyon how to manage walk-in clients. He is excellent and talked me into booking his facility when my plane was cancelled. Rarely saw such customer attention. This was the opportunity to discover the hotel and the location. Excellent bedding quality and bathroom amenities. Highly recommended.

A quality ratio well below our expectations. € 139 per night for a couple and a child. Minor: Most basic bathroom without hair dryer Furry TV window with French channels that work very badly TV that s s lights the night without reason (the need to deconnect it) More: Big room Near Metro Station Untested Breakfast Conclusion : We will look elsewhere
