Hilton Fiji Beach Resort and Spa

Denarau Island|0.58km from Captain Cook Cruises Fiji
Overall a poor experience. Customer service. Most of the staff are nice and friendly and have the bula spirit, however our stay was tainted by some unfriendly staff at the main restaurant by the pool, which some of the staff don’t want to help providing baby chair and just forgot about the requests after all. The restaurant staff just simply looks very unhappy or tired for some reasons. We have met some very friendly face and lovely staff, but it was unfortunate the restaurant customer service is consistently horrible. Front desk staff shows don’t show the same level of hospitality as to other hotels we stay in Fiji. Room: It’s showing it’s aged but the view is fantastic and room is well equipped and spacious, it suits well for family with a plan to cook. We notified the staff that two of the pendant lights aren’t working on day one. Yet nothing is fixed until check out. Food: We try buffet breakfast and dinners at the main restaurant and also take away from the red Buddha restaurant. Breakfast is pretty standard and average considering it’s Hilton, we stay at many Hilton hotels before, the food is one of the worst experience we had, in particular the buffet dinner, choices are very limited, it’s pretty much just a corner of food , pretty subpar comparing to Sofitel or Sheraton. Overall. With similar price it is hard to recommend this hotel to family especially with kids, the staff seems to have too much trouble to handle the demand of young kids and didn’t stand up to the great Hilton branding which is a bit of a shame. Rooms got beautiful view, foods aren’t great. The only bright spot would be the spacious hotel room.

Club Wyndham Denarau Island, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Denarau Island|1.45km from Captain Cook Cruises Fiji
I had read reviews on this hotel and these days don’t pay too much attention to them as they don’t always feel genuine, so I had an open mind going to club Wyndham. We had been staying in the Great Pacific Hotel in Suva just before which is very premium so expected a bit of a downgrade in experience but actually Wyndham was really nice. We have stayed at the Wyndham in Torquay which needed some tlc so we were relieved to have such a great experience at this hotel. We arrived just as the friday fire act was in full swing which was very atmospheric. Our room was a garden one-bed and was tucked away at the side but did benefit from a grass area and hammocks which was nice - the rooms seem to have been refurbished but ours was a little dark and off the beaten track. We asked if we could be moved to a different room and they were really kind and found one which was in the top floor overlooking the gardens which was significantly better, brighter, views and higher ceilings. The staff did everything in their power to make this a great stay and were so cheerful and friendly. The other guests were also super friendly so the holiday vibe was fantastic. I think the resort is actually nicer than the photos and handy to be close to the harbour as we did a boat trip with Crusin Fiji which was outstanding. We couldn’t get the late check out we had hoped for on our flight day but they did let us stay and extra half an hour in the room and shower at their gym after using the pool in the afternoon. I would 100% recommend. Great for families and those after a relaxed but vibrant stay.

Ramada Suites by Wyndham Wailoaloa Beach Fiji
4.3/555 Reviews
Its business suites - includes kitchen and laundry in room. Always great to have these services. Beach isnt much, think walk along rather than swim. This is one of 3-4 hotels in a row beachfront. Guests primarily those passing thru to islands, backpackers and groups. The hotels’ beachfront bars were quiet during week in May but came alive for weekend. Restaurant on top floor had great views. Service very slow in restaurants of all these hotels. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Leisure City Apartment
4.9/511 Reviews
Because of the transfer, I need to stay in Fiji for one night, a good experience. The house is very clean and tidy, quiet and warm, with two bedrooms, our family of four can easily stay. Furniture and appliances are available, as well as kitchen appliances and tableware that we often use. We don't have time to try cooking. The location is very good, there are Chinese restaurants in the nearby supermarkets, and it is very convenient to be close to the airport. The boss is Chinese, the communication is also very smooth, introduce the surrounding environment and help us contact the rental, very intimate, there is a chance to come again.
The Palms Denarau Fiji
4.3/5101 Reviews
We stayed here for a few nights at the beginning of our trip before heading to a remote island. This is a great spot to stay on Denarau if you are not looking for a resort experience and the price tag that comes with it. The location was great, easily walkable to the marina where you’ll find great dinner spots and a supermarket. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the palms - the cafe there was lovely. When we checked out of the Palms I realised I’d left my phone at the cafe, one of the ladies kept it safe for me and I was able to have our driver go back and get it for us while we checked in for our domestic flight. High praise for the staff, who were all wonderful. Later in our trip we stayed at a villa at the Hilton. Honestly the Palms has the same type of rooms that are in much better condition than the Hilton, for a fraction of the price. Yes it’s not the same type of place, but if you just need a few nights and aren’t after a resort experience, the palms is a great choice. And if you do want a resort experience, choose anywhere but the Hilton.
Sailors Beach Fiji
3.3/536 Reviews
We spent - luckily only - two nights at Sailor's Beach as we were in transit. The room with a balcony and sea view is quite small if both of you have a suitcase and backpack with you. The furniture is cheap, the lighting doesn't glare, the bathroom has no shelves, the bed was sagging. Air conditioning, fridge and shower worked well. You can hear the air conditioning in the neighboring rooms. Overall it is very noisy. The room, bathroom and the entire hallway area were dirty. There was hair in the bed and in the shower that definitely couldn't be ours. The breakfast was delicious and cheap. The dinner and drinks were also great. We arrived on Saturday evening. A nice live band played until 10 p.m., then we went to the room. That's when the party really started. You will hear loud music from your own bar as well as from the neighboring bar. The party people had a good and loud time until daylight the next day. With earplugs that wasn't a problem. Anyone who knows the South Seas will be disappointed, and those who don't know the South Seas and have high expectations will also be disappointed. If you just want to party and don't care about the ambience, you'll have a great time here. The staff were without exception very, very nice, friendly and helpful. The only really pleasant thing about this place.
The Terraces Apartments Denarau
4.2/598 Reviews
The Terraces Just returned again to this wonderful resort with my 2 friends. I can highly recommend this accomodation in either a 1 brm or 2 brm apartment. The apartments are very clean & spacious with all the facilities you need with a kitchen & laundry, with lovely views of either garden or pool & golf course from 1 or 2 of the balconies in the 2 brm apartment. The pool & gardens are highly maintained with plenty of pool loungers. The convenience to Port Denarau is just 5 mins walk away to all the bars & restaurants plus a fully stocked mini mart. All the staff at The Terraces are very friendly & helpful. I’m looking forward to my return again in November.
Nadi Downtown Hotel
2.9/530 Reviews
We arrived at Nadi one day afternoon, tired and quite affected by the wet heat that regained on the island. After dinner, they told us that the cow standards in Fiji, force to test antigens before leaving the street. We do not know this regulation so we don't know how to act, we just arrived in a country unknown, our level of English is very limited and we see everything very black. The hotel manager, when he looked so nervous, offered to solve us through the antigen test and told us that we were not worried, that he was organizing everything for the next day. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. Then I wonder what route we wanted to do and checked all the hotel reservations we made and provided the tickets for the necessary ferries. Without any extra cost. I also facilitate collection transfers at the return of the islands and transfer to the airport ...this if it had an additional cost but it was worth it for the effectiveness with which all the agreed was met. This hotel is a family business and is not only a hotel service, it offers a travel agency service virtually without additional cost and after two weeks and visiting 4 different islands with their corresponding travel we have The last day, before returning to Sidney, and on the way to the airport, they took us to a clinic where they made the anti-antigon test to enter Australia and gave us the official certificate. Better service or you can ask for
