"Nice and clean spacious room. Location is a bit far off from the town centre, not too bad for us cuz we drove, about 5-10min. Good for those who are looking for somewhere quieter."
"Booked a total of 6 rooms. 3pax per room.
Check in was tad slow, still need to fill up forms etc when all booking were done online.
Rooms were good size, there's washer/dryer in laundry room for guests to use. A big kitchen near laundry room where you can prep your meals.
Ample parking."
"The location is on the edge of the town, but you can walk to the center, shopping and dining are very convenient. The room itself is relatively small. It is said to have a garden view, but in fact it is just some flowers behind the kitchen. There is a flower outside the French window. You can't see the outside view after the car is parked. But if you are staying for one night, you don't care much. The kitchen is a bit small, you need to bring your own oil and salt, but a microwave is enough. The hotel requires cleaning of kitchen utensils"

"The room is very big, with one bedroom, one living room, one kitchen and one bathroom.
The stream at the door is really clear, I took a picture under the water.
The kitchenware is complete.
Sitting in the living room and dining room, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance."
"Smooth checkin with very warm welcome greet. Everything works great and the small washing machine was free! I love the fact that salt and pepper is provided in the kitchenette made my cooking more complete. Great Location only 10 minutes walk to the beach and town centre , great vibe! Leisure centre is 5 minutes drive away with great swimming pool and jacuzzi."
"The room was clean and well equipped.
Parking is very convenient and it’s great not to have to pay😀
We stored a lot of luggage and the landlord helped us move it all the time. Thank you very much.
If you have any questions, the landlord will respond quickly👍"
"The room is on the second floor, there is no stove, only microwave and refrigerator, plates, forks and knives, etc. The space is not big, but it is a 3-5 minute walk from restaurants and supermarkets, and 5 minutes from Lake Wanaka. I recommend the lakeside Chinese restaurant, the Chinese taste is very good. The lonely tree has been exposed because of the drop in the water level, and there are always many people around there."
"The room is very clean, the location is also very good, it is very convenient to go to the supermarket and shopping, it is also very close to the lake for a walk, that is, the boss is not very good, we do not know where to park, he seems to be very unhappy"
"The hotel is very close to the town. After checking in, I walked 5 kilometers according to other people's guides. I couldn't find the observation deck to see the glacier. I couldn't find the trace of the snowy mountains. Think about it maybe because of spring!"
"The location is very good, very close to Lake Wanaka. Even I don’t understand, this house made entirely of wood keeps beeping. When I booked the room, I saw netizens mentioning this problem and didn't pay much attention to it. However, when I moved in, it felt very loud. Friends who need quiet sleep at night should be careful.
And the Motel feels a bit old, and I didn’t take any pictures😅"

Outstanding
HHeidouxiaolaodaIt is definitely a wise choice to choose this hotel! The view from the balcony is amazing, and the living room and dining room are very large. It makes me want to cook a meal with my friends. It's a pity that we only stayed for one night and the weather changed suddenly in the evening, otherwise we could enjoy such a wonderful hotel.
GGuest UserKind receptionist and decent living environment with good facilities; easy to park in the yard for free. We have a great experience here. There may be also some children play facilities in the yard but we arrived in the evening and didn’t explore the space a lot. All in all, a good place to live in WĀNAKA and highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe hotel is about 30 minutes' walk from the town center, which is a bit far. It is not very convenient to eat and buy things without driving. There is only one bathroom for three bedrooms. The quilt is not covered with a quilt cover, but wrapped with two layers of sheets. I think it is very unhygienic because it is easy to sleep directly on the quilt when sleeping. Although other hotels also do this, I used a regular quilt cover in the hotel in Queenstown. Moreover, the quilt of one bed may be carelessly wrong, and it was actually wrapped with a mattress cover, which made it impossible to sleep. But because we didn't use that bed, it didn't affect us. The service staff was very friendly, but this hotel is mainly for people who drive RVs, and the service staff will go off work after 8pm. The room is quite large and the facilities are also OK.
GGuest UserGreat location and service. Every bed has a curtain, a light and a shelf to put little things.
There was wind from nowhere blowing in the room and making it very cold to sleep even though the window was closed.
CChun2After 10 days, the leaves of the trees by the lake have fallen a lot, but because there is snow on the mountain, it is still beautiful. The next morning, I sat on the balcony and saw the sunset. Wanaka never seems to disappoint you and always brings you surprises. All of this is due to the choice of Edgewater Hotel, because it has the best view.
GGuest UserThe environment is so beautiful, opposite the mountain, the backyard is very large, about four acres! The boss is Chinese and very nice.
The room is better than the pictures on the Internet! Forgot to take it.
You will never be disappointed!
XXuannyBooked a last minute stay in Oakridge and was not disappointed! :) Studio was clean and incredibly functional (came with a washer + dryer and laundry detergent)! Finally had a good rest since arriving in New Zealand. Hot tubs by the pool were gr8 after a long hike! Would recommend!! :)

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but the bathroom and shower were clean.
There was a family shower room, but there were no instructions on how to use it, so I couldn't use it. I could see pretty stars at night, and at night
I was able to rest comfortably because it was quiet. Parking was convenient because I could park right in front of the room.
MMatthew LimEnjoyed a lovely stay at Te Wanaka during our stop over at Wanaka. Staff took the initiative to facilitate a late check-in when we arrived late from our travel over from Mt Cook. We loved that our room had a balcony, but shame that we couldn't open it at night due to all the river flies that get attracted to the light. Of note, the room does not have fan nor aircon, but wasn't too much of a hassle as it was rather cold during our stay here. Otherwise, the room was really comfortable and toilets were clean. Plenty of good food choices too that are just a short walk away from our accommodation! Great stay for anyone planning to stop over in Wanaka
EEddielimThe hotel room is nice, the cleaning and the coffee, tea and chocolate drinks in the room are all very good. All the services in the hotel are OK. The overall cost performance is good.
