Sonder Georgetown C&O

Announced a furniture check the day of and left my door open and unlocked the entire day afterward. Will never use Sonder again.

The washcloth in a photo welcomed us as soon as we walked in, which made me have no trust regarding cleanness. The electric outlet of one side of bed (toward kitchen) was not working at all. The round table was wobbly. Sorry it was not a great stay.

Great location, a block up from the Potomac River, a block over from the best coffee and cupcakes on the east coast (Baked & Wired), and across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel, Georgetown. Nice to have a kitchen, TV offers links to own subscribed streaming services, there’s laundry onsite,…Only snafu was I had booked one room for our son for just the first night we were there and then we stayed two more nights, but I got a text at 9am to get ready for our checkout on the day of his checkout. Called the customer service line and only explanation was that it was for our son’s room sent late from last night (?). Because you are reliant on the codes working for the duration of your stay, this is a very concerning snafu. Then I got another text, 90 mins later, with the same message-other than those, we would stay there again if they keep the pricing reasonable and commensurate with it being a place to stay with no services.

My stay was great. I just needed it for a business trip for the week. The location was perfect. The only thing that could have made it even better was if the air was a little colder. I set it on 65 but it remained 71-77 throughout my stay. Probably would have been an issue if the weather outside was hotter.

The room didn't seem entirely clean, though the linens were all clearly fresh. It just hasn't been deep cleaned. They also were painting the hallways and the fumes were pretty awful - I had migraines for a couple of days from the fumes. Great location, comfortable beds.

There was no Shower curtain and bathroom wasn’t cleaned that well. They did end up dropping off a shower curtain in the middle of night The place also smelt like **** when we got there… It was in a great location and everything else was good! Not sure if I’d stay here again

The hotel was comfortable and convenient. Easy parking in the neighborhood. It was great to have a full kitchen with the room. The heating was a bit difficult to adjust, so were the shades. Check-in and communications were all online but easy to understand. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
