"We liked the King Room (Accessible) which had a bathtub and a working refrigerator and heater but mistakenly reserved the regular King Room on the trip back which had no heat or working refrigerator, but we made do for a couple of days. The Hilton Garden Inn is less expensive than the regular Hilton next door so some inconveniences should be expected when staying here. The Hilton Garden Inn did allow me to use the fully equipped fitness center at the regular Hilton since theirs wasn't functioning. The hotel shuttle to the airport was a bit pricey and we ended up using our own transportation to/from the Windhoek airport. Overall, it could have been better."
"This is the most satisfactory hotel among the three hotels we stayed in Windhoek! We booked a family villa, which is very cost-effective and has complete kitchen supplies. As guests, we also invited friends to our home for dinner. There are two swimming pools in the hotel, which the children also like. The hygiene services are good. If I come again, I will come to Allebush without hesitation!"
"The property was so beautiful! My husband and I really loved the amenities and location of the hotel, BUT we were not treated very nice by quite a few hotel staff. We observed on multiple occasions white or colored guests being treated with A+ service while we were treated with C+ service. When we first arrived, we went to the rooftop and were ignored by 2 attendants at the bar. When we did get service, it was mediocre and almost as if we were doing the hotel a favor by being there. Other than those unfortunate instances, we enjoyed our stay."
"We had a wonderful experience at the Mercure Hotel Windhoek. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you! Will recommend to my colleagues!"
"Good location in the city center, free parking in the parking lot of the mall property, and security guards on each floor. You can walk directly to the hotel through the mall.
The room is spacious and quiet.
The supermarket downstairs closes very early. There is also a cafe on the first floor."
"The location of the hotel is very good, only a few minutes away from the shopping center.
Excellent service, first-class restaurant, delicious food.
The size is good and the room is clean.
The biggest black spot is the brightness of the room all night, this is because the outside light of the hotel enters through the windows, there are no blinds. So there are lights..."
"The overall stay experience was not bad, give it 80 points. The location of the hotel is quite convenient and the surrounding facilities are relatively complete. The cleanliness of the room is average and the sanitary conditions need to be improved. The bed comfort is medium and the quality of sleep is OK. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK, but there is room for improvement."
Aautumn titaniumThis place is a gem - convenient location in a safe/quiet neighborhood close to the city centre, clean and spacious room with kitchen and cooking utensils, free and secured parking, helpful and friendly owner, affordable rates. The place has no reception counter. To check-in, the guest has to arrange with the owner via phone or email prior to arrival. As I was on a long flight and I had no phone/data roaming in Namibia, I didn't see the owner's email and I was stuck outside the place without a way to get in. Luckily I drove to a nearby hotel and borrowed the phone to call the owner, and the owner (who actually lives elsewhere) came to open the door for me within 10-15 minutes. Next time if I come here again, I should contact the owner 1 day before arrival, so that the owner knows my arrival time and sends me the check-in instructions in time.
GGuest UserThe environment is very good, retro and modern, a bit like the big hall in Hong Kong. The room is large, 35 square meters, the balcony connects the courtyard, and the trees are shaded. The staff is also very helpful. Nearby is the consulate area, opposite the Japanese consulate.
YYaoyaoThis is the first hotel I stayed in in Namibia. It is located in the downtown area of Windhoek. Although it is not a bustling street, it is not far from the National Museum and Lutheran Gospel Church. It is more convenient to go out. The hotel is not big, but there is free parking. The hotel's house is a bungalow, the room is moderate, there is a big bed, the furniture is simple, but practical, and there are shower facilities in the bathroom. The hotel staff is kind and attentive, patiently explaining the various facilities in the room and the service time of breakfast. I am warmhearted that the hostess at the front desk learned that my passport was lost at the foreign currency exchange office at the airport. I immediately contacted the airport and helped me find the passport. I was excited and burst into tears. This is the mistake I made on the first day of my trip to Africa. If it is really lost, It will cause a lot of trouble for the subsequent trip. Thanks again to the front desk hostess, God will bless you!
RRobert PateliusStandard facility. Great location. Near to the international airport road. Breakfast was disappointing. Not advisable to include breakfast when booking. Otherwise, all other facilities were okay.
金金Breakfast is very good, a wide variety, most like hot milk and cereals, the hotel's environment is superb, the location is next to a golf course, the environment is very good, the hotel has ATM machines can directly use the credit card to pick up the local currency, but there is a fee This is also more cost-effective than changing the US dollar at the counter. A cash withdrawal fee is about 3 knives, but you can basically buy the card and use less cash. There is a Chinese restaurant in the hotel, it tastes good.
FFourie MiekeWhat a lovely experience! The rooms were large and very clean with nice balconies and seating areas. Good wifi, good water pressure, good breakfast, good service and very comfy beds. Not to mention the excellent restaurant and bar downstairs. I seriously recommend the owambo chicken - delicious.
GGuest UserMy stay at Safari Court Hotel Managed by Accor was nothing short of spectacular. The hotel's elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. The attentive and courteous staff catered to my every need, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
GGuest UserWir haben mehrere Nächte in Tillas Guesthouse verbracht. Der Eigentümer war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück für den Preis sehr umfänglich und lecker. Sehr gerne wieder!
