We arrived early and let in room early, no greeting and asked if I could leave my case whilst I went into town until room was ready(not a problem)young lad told me just to leave my case in foyer, I said it’s full of valuables, so I asked yo put in reception? Which he did. Bearing in mind it’s our 4th stay here and we came to check in and pay and didn’t realise you had changed your policy to a £25 deposit card policy to cover room damage,we hadn’t bought our card with sufficient funds, we offered cash, the lady on reception was so rude , miserable and so condescending whilst I panicked and my partner had to go in to town and put money into said account, Our room was tiny and not the usual standard, our food was lovely room spotless but surely the attitude of the miserable receptionist should be a real concern because she made me feel terrible
