Hotels in Huishan Scenic Spot, Wuxi

The hotel is right inside the scenic area, making it incredibly convenient to visit Jichang Garden, the ancestral temple, Yingyue Pavilion, and more! The hotel is newly opened with a thoughtful design. Rooms in Building 9 are relatively larger, and the bedding is especially comfortable! All the hotel staff have excellent service attitudes; they proactively greet guests. The front desk lady even helped us upgrade our room, which we greatly appreciate! All in all, it was a very pleasant stay! We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The first room on the 8th floor had a noisy water heater right above it, constantly buzzing. We switched to a second room, but the bedroom light couldn't be turned off with the smart assistant or the switch unless we pulled out the key card. The third room we got had a window that wouldn't close properly, and the main door couldn't be double-locked. Also, the shower water wasn't consistently hot; it would suddenly get a bit cold. Breakfast selection was limited, typical of a budget hotel. Overall, a poor experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

First of all, the staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me directions. The cleaning lady greeted me warmly, and the young lady at the restaurant proactively came to collect my meal ticket. Overall, the service was excellent! However, the cleanliness was just so-so. There was a clump of hair from a previous guest (judging by the amount of hair, it belonged to a woman) on the bathroom drain—not just a few strands, but a whole roll. There was also clutter in the locker. Secondly, after showering, there was a constant dripping sound from the bathroom for over half an hour, making it impossible for me to sleep. The breakfast, as shown in the picture, frankly, didn't offer a very extensive selection.

The room was incredibly comfortable, and the staff, especially the young lady, was super enthusiastic. She not only upgraded our room but also brought us some delicious, sweet fruit. The room itself was clean and tidy. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip. The young lady was incredibly thoughtful; when my friend wasn't feeling well, she helped us arrange a late check-out. Our four-day stay was absolutely fantastic.

Friendly front desk staffs, ordered delivery and was sent to my room via a robot, when I fell asleep, they took good care of my belongings and passed it to me. Front desk would also give a simple greeting whenever you walk across the lobby. Convenient location, delicious food and near the shopping mall. Hot water was instantaneous and does not require any waiting time, overall a very good experience.

Multiple stays, Facilities are OK. Next time you come here, it will be the first. The light is good, you can hear birds chirping in the morning, the bed is moderately soft and hard, the air conditioning is very powerful, and the overall quality is good. The service is very good, the attitude is also very good, and there is a diffuser for me to use, I am happy🥰

The hotel has a great location, right across the street from the ancient town, and it's right next to subway station number 4. There seem to be plenty of parking spaces next time I drive, making it convenient to return after exploring in the evening. The facilities are a bit old, but that's not a big problem. The shower water pressure is great, and the service is quite friendly. There's also a restaurant downstairs where you can order à la carte.

I actually forgot to take photos, so I'll just use a Wuxi scenery picture instead. I was quite apprehensive about this hotel, costing 599 for two nights during the Chinese New Year. But since it's a new hotel and part of the Accor group, I figured, for that price, what more could I ask for? And honestly, for that price point, I'd give it six stars! During Chinese New Year, staffing was minimal, so the service was just okay. However, the hardware and software facilities are comparable to an IHG Holiday Inn. It feels like it was converted from an old state-owned four-star or five-star hotel. The basic decor is quite old-fashioned, but all the electronics have been updated to the latest models, and the room even has a smart Baidu system. For the price, it's incredible value. The breakfast was a letdown, just something to tide you over. There were a lot of elderly people. If that bothers you, there's a good *xiaolongbao* (soup dumpling) place across the street. The location is convenient if you're driving, but I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have a car. It's about 10 kilometers from both Yuantouzhu and Huishan Ancient Town.
