I arrived at noon to check in. The front desk asked if I had booked through the platform. I said yes, and they told me I would receive a check-in verification SMS. During this time, I asked if the room was fully booked for the day and if I could upgrade. They said no! Then I received a message about registering as a member. I asked why it was a registration message. I told the front desk I had already registered as a member and gave them my phone number. They replied that I wasn't a member. I considered showing them my Atour app login screen, but decided it was pointless. The front desk asked if I had booked a room without breakfast. They said yes, because my family member is also an Atour member and has a complimentary breakfast voucher in their account. I gave them my phone number, but they still said I wasn't a member (how could I have a complimentary breakfast voucher if I wasn't a member?). I thought it was pointless to waste time arguing about breakfast and asked to check in directly. However, they completely refused to meet my requirements when I booked through the platform. The room is next to the elevator, the fire escape, and faces the cleaning staff's work area. Fine! Since they discriminate against customers who book through Ctrip, why don't they just leave the platform? There are many ways to complete the registration task; you chose the lowest way to humiliate customers who book through the platform. Ridiculous! I've stayed at Atour hotels in more than ten cities, and this one is definitely unique!
Excluding the front desk issue, the cleanliness of Atour's rooms is generally reliable. Although there is construction nearby and constant noise, it is understandable and I would give it a good review. However, I would definitely give it a bad review if I focused on the front desk!
This hotel was a very cheap price which is why I stayed here. 24 US Dollars!! For the price I wasn't expecting much and really can't complain. I had an okay stay. The bed was pleasant and clean, shower was okay enough, TV was fine. Floor was quiet enough. Some kids were being a bit crazy and making a lot of noise but was all good. A drinking party perhaps but they did not bother me. I woke up late and did not try the breakfast so I cannot speak to that. All in all I had a pleasant enough stay and really enjoyed my day in the area. The fantastic Wanda mall is walking distance away and has tons of great shops and a huge IMAX theater. Lots of good food, coffee, ice cream etc. If you are looking for somewhere cheap to crash in Wuxi I can recommend it. The manager was very sweet and even stopped me to give me a couple cans of Pepsi on the way out as a gift haha. Would stay again if I needed to be in this area.
The hotel is a former office building renovation, next to the construction, facilities and equipment are very complete, the location is very good, the traffic is very convenient, the breakfast is very rich, the front desk service is very good
My kids are grown up now, so I specifically booked a family room for this trip. The hotel started off great, but then I noticed the attention to detail was lacking! First, the single bed in the room was a spring bed, and the mattress was clearly old and deeply sunken in the middle, making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. My child didn't complain, but as a parent, I felt quite uneasy. Since it's a family room, why wouldn't they provide a standard single bed? Secondly, the restaurant service. The coffee machine needed cleaning, and I even told a staff member, but by the time we finished our meal, the coffee still hadn't been served. Breakfast in the restaurant goes until 10 AM, but when we went at 9:30 AM, some dishes and drinks were no longer being refilled. I don't think this is right. They don't offer a discount for eating after 9:30 AM, so shouldn't all food items be fully stocked?
The hotel has a great location, and most importantly, it's well-insulated. There are also many restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Wuxi. Highly recommended!
The location of the hotel is very good, in the subway line 2, the river, Lukou station, the 3rd exit, the hotel is newly renovated, clean, hygienic, quiet, even if there is a window facing the street, it is not noisy, because there is a distance from the roadside, it is convenient to go anywhere, the boss is very enthusiastic, it is worth staying, like 👍
The downsides are that the location is a bit hard to find; it's about 30 meters past the China Construction Bank, going down an alley. Parking can be a problem if you go at the wrong time of day, and there's no toilet paper in the restrooms. The upsides are that it's clean, quiet, has hot water that comes out in a couple of seconds, and the air conditioning is great; even at -5 degrees Celsius at night, a single blanket keeps you warm. There's a lively farmers' market nearby with lots of food stalls, and the owners are a nice, helpful couple. Unfortunately, I went at the wrong time of year and missed the peak bloom in the courtyard, but the fallen ginkgo leaves still had their own charm.
I was visiting Wuxi and after looking around nearby hotels, I chose the newly renovated Hanting. I originally booked two nights, but ended up staying just one. Located on Taihu Avenue, it's conveniently located. The front desk staff was generally friendly, though they were a bit overly helpful when asking guests to scan a QR code on their phones during check-in. The room, with its easy-to-care-for plastic, looked very clean. The soundproofing was poor, and as a light sleeper, I could clearly hear my neighbors talking in the middle of the night. The couple upstairs weren't arguing, but they were crying until 2 or 3 a.m.
The hotel is conveniently located near the subway.
Amenities: A self-service washing machine and dryer are provided, which is very convenient. The room was very quiet; you couldn't hear traffic outside, which was quite nice. However, the air conditioner in the room was in serious need of maintenance. It was loud and noisy all night long, making it impossible to sleep. It was so noisy and disruptive to our sleep. We arrived late at night, so we didn't notice it at first, even when talking. But by the time we got to bed, the noise was incredibly noticeable.
Environment: The room was very clean.
Service: The front desk lady was very helpful and promptly addressed any needs. One night, for some reason, the door kept beeping when I closed it. I tried several times but it didn't work. I called front desk, and they told me to fix it, so we sent for engineering. After several attempts, it fixed it, so I called back. They said they'd still send for engineering. When the engineer arrived, perhaps because it was too late, he was very rude and gave us a lecture. Seriously, we paid for it. Even if you're angry about making a wasted trip during business hours, you should still be polite. It really disrupts your mood. Let me tell you about the air conditioner. It's really loud.
The hotel is a bit old, but the rooms are very spacious. The style is reminiscent of a state-run guesthouse, focusing on affordability. The surrounding snack options are decent, and since I was traveling with elders, they were quite satisfied. It's a good fit for seniors who aren't too particular about modern decor. From the outside, it looks unassuming, but it's actually quite large inside, with several buildings and even robot room service. If the hotel could upgrade its facilities and ambiance, it would be even more popular. For younger guests, it might feel like a blast from the 90s. It's also conveniently located for sightseeing. I recommend visiting Huishan Ancient Town; the night view is stunning, and the old houses in the daytime have their own unique charm.

1. The e-sports hotel experience was top-notch! The graphics card ran smoothly without any lag, the peripherals felt amazing, the room was clean and odor-free, the front desk was responsive, and playing games with friends was incredibly fun. I'll definitely come back next time!
2. The internet speed was incredibly stable with no lag, the keyboard and mouse were from top brands, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the attention to detail was excellent (there were even snacks provided). The price-performance ratio was incredible; I have to give it five stars!
Finding this hidden gem hotel near Taihu College was such a pleasant surprise! For just over 160 RMB, I got a king-size bed room with smart home technology and a 50-inch screen-projecting TV. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the separate shower and toilet was a welcome relief. The public areas also have a gym and a complimentary hot drink area. The New Year decorations were also very festive, and the front desk staff were warm and attentive. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Wuxi!
The room was very satisfied, the front desk service was particularly good, and the breakfast was delicious.

From check-in to providing various travel suggestions, they are all like spring breezes and the service is particularly good. And the breakfast is rich in variety and tastes very good, opening a full day. I highly recommend everyone to come to this hotel!
