AHS Awake Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street Store)

Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn't like that I got a room on ground floor with windows directly facing breakfast area. Nevertheless I cannot complain much taking into consideration the price that I paid this night. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Room was in very good condition with comfortable bed. Few minutes walking distance to main attractions and next to metro.

Cleanliness is acceptable. Near subway. There’s noise every morning. The cleaning staff start working very early, and the walls don’t block sound well — I can even hear people sneezing. Receptionist is nice.

I like the location and design of hotel. However the view from the room was to the wall so its not worthy to take a room with the window. The stuff was friendly and attentive. But I was disappointed with restaurant and breakfast. Firstly there was no tea or coffee or even hot water: only soy milk and juice. There are only 2 tables in the warm room, others were in the lobby where the temperature was like outside (its not very comfortable at the end of Oktober). We didn't take off our jackets. So I hardly can name this a restaurant. Didn't recommend to take room with breakfast here. Everything else was good.

Location is perfect. Breakfast costs 28 Yuan per person , mostly vegetarian. Some rooms have smoking smell.
