City Comfort Inn - Xi'an Zhonggulou Huimin Street Store

First of all, the hotel is located near the metro and it is easy to find it. Secondly, the process of checking into the hotel was smooth. The receptionists are polite at all times. There is a free flow of hot drinks at the lobby. Near the lobby there is an ironing section, laundry section and gym room. But only two washing machines are provided for hundreds of rooms. But Wang Aunty is good enough to help guests take out the washed clothing out from the washing machines and put them in the dryer. Cao Supervisor helped us to iron out clothes as the old iron was not in function. Our rooms are far away from the lifts but the rooms are in a quiet place. Beds and pillows are good to sleep in. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and the breakfast was provided almost the same everyday but they changed it a little bit. The cleaner aunty in the restaurant is polite. The location is good not really far from the Muslim Quarter. The bus stop is just in front of this hotel. We took didi easily. AI XiaoLe in the room was not helpful. Overall, I still suggest that this hotel is more friendly to guests and we felt warm like at home.

I had a trouble with Internet connection. The WiFi they provided me didn’t work. Probably China has different WiFi system. Hotel WiFi was super slow and didn’t work any apps. Someone was talking all night since it’s facing the busiest street. But overall it was a great stay. They had a good breakfast! staff were friendly and helpful. However they don’t speak English. They have to use translator app.

We stayed four nights at the end of April, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The room was immaculately clean and the shower excellent. Breakfast choices varied every day, mostly Chinese but some toast & pastries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our only complaints are lack of a proper window which meant using A/C to ventilate the room, and no remote control for the smart toilet.
