Excellent location with Zhonglou Metro Station right in front of hotel. Convenient hop on spot to Terracotta warriors as well. Walking distance to Bell Tower, Muslim Street and Luomashi Street with multiple food options. Can be noisy. Not much amenities in the hotel but check out the robot delivering your 外卖 to your room.

The hotel room is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Daily breakfast at the hotel cafeteria is good. Lots of varieties, from steamed buns, stirred fried food, live noodle section to fresh fruits and beverages. Our kids and family thoroughly enjoy our breakfast every morning with the warm and friendly services provided by the ladies at the cafeteria. Their manager Yi Guo Li was exceptionally nice. Receptionist - Star was also very pleasant and helpful. Downside of the hotel is that the bathroom is rather old but in working condition and there is only 1 lift working during our stay at the hotel. Overall, the

The staff were very nice, well trained for service-mind. The room is quite big, clean and also I booked city view which was very nice. All high-tech staff in the room such as open the curtain, turn on the light which I loved that. The television was quite big. Amenities are fully provided. Location is great, at night you could just walk to the walking street. I have had a great night here. Highly recommended.

Our 3 night stay here was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful and welcoming each day. The location is right next to the old wall, which you get a great view of from the outdoor terrace. Just be mindful that the reception is on an upper level via lifts, so the entrance from outside isn't immediately obvious. Look for glass sliding doors with lifts behind it and small black plaque stating Mehood Elegant Hotel. The hotel decor is lovely Chinese style. Our Tang Dynasty room was excellent, decent size and facilities. Twin beds were spacious, each with bedside tables. Wash basin is behind a half partition within the bedroom. Then the toilet and shower are each in their own cubicle, behind the wash basin. So be mindful that you can see the bathroom area from the beds area but it was fine for us. Air con worked great. Robes and slippers provided. Self service laundry area was a welcome addition, with 3 washer dryers, detergent, hanging rail and clothes steamer. Breakfast was really excellent, mostly Chinese cuisine with some continental western options. Overall, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Easy walking distance of metro, shops and old wall.

The hotel is modern, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The rooms are comfortable, and the overall design creates a relaxing and stylish atmosphere. However, if you don’t speak Chinese, be aware that communication at the front desk can be very difficult. None of the staff do not speak English, and while some try their best to help, others are not only unhelpful but actually quite rude. Unfortunately, I had a particularly stressful experience with one of the male receptionists on the night shift, whose attitude towards non-Chinese speakers was shockingly unpleasant. It’s a real shame because the hotel itself is lovely, but the lack of basic communication and courtesy from some staff members really affected my stay.

The OrangeHao Hotel is a solid mid-range option with a great location near Line 2 metro, the South Gate entrance, and the Bell Tower area. The staff were helpful, and the service was excellent. They even provide free bottled water at the front desk if you run out! Like another user mentioned, the hotel name isn’t obvious since it shares a lobby with another business, but just trust your Apple Maps location—it’s easy enough to find from the roadside. The only thing I missing was a fridge; I like my water chilled 😎. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The hotel is just perfect, as it is just by the exit from the subway. The staff is friendly and does the job well. But there are a number of problems in the hotel: 1. The ceiling and the walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbours perfectly. It’s terrible, because you cannot get asleep when they are talking or….. :) 2. Besides, there is a smell of smoking that comes from the toilet. When the neighbours above or under smoke, the smell comes to your room. The ventilation system works awfully. But breakfast was tasty! And the view of the Bell tower is magnificent, when you are outside. Well, to tell the truth, I won’t stay here anymore.

Regarding accommodation, I am generally satisfied with the environment and facilities. The staff's attitude during check-in and check-out was very friendly. However, laundry services present a significant limitation: staff informed me that laundry cannot be processed after 8:00 PM. If I happen to return late from outings and need to catch a flight the next day, this restriction becomes inconvenient. I had to request assistance to wash my clothes in advance and then ask them to dry them, which might delay the process until the next morning. I believe there is room for improvement here. Notably, I had already communicated this concern to the staff two days ago, but the issue persisted the following night, indicating potential gaps in inter-shift communication or system handovers .

First of all, the hotel is located near the metro and it is easy to find it. Secondly, the process of checking into the hotel was smooth. The receptionists are polite at all times. There is a free flow of hot drinks at the lobby. Near the lobby there is an ironing section, laundry section and gym room. But only two washing machines are provided for hundreds of rooms. But Wang Aunty is good enough to help guests take out the washed clothing out from the washing machines and put them in the dryer. Cao Supervisor helped us to iron out clothes as the old iron was not in function. Our rooms are far away from the lifts but the rooms are in a quiet place. Beds and pillows are good to sleep in. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel and the breakfast was provided almost the same everyday but they changed it a little bit. The cleaner aunty in the restaurant is polite. The location is good not really far from the Muslim Quarter. The bus stop is just in front of this hotel. We took didi easily. AI XiaoLe in the room was not helpful. Overall, I still suggest that this hotel is more friendly to guests and we felt warm like at home.

There were squashed dead mosquitoes all over the ceiling. The pictures are just an example, there were more in the room. Gross. There's no screen on the small window, which I assume housekeeping opens. We got other random small flying bugs that came in through there. The beds were extremely hard. Way harder than any mattress I've ever been on in China or Korea. You may as well sleep on a yoga mat on the floor. The entire mattress also bounced a lot with any movement, so the bed is TERRIBLE if you are trying to share with someone. There's a small bench in the room that looks like it's for putting on shoes, but it's really unstable. The location is listed as Bell and Drum Tower, but it's actually pretty far from those. It's along a metro station, but not in the most convenient area. There's a lot of construction (open dirt ditches that you have to cross with flimsy wood panels) right next to the hotel. It's not their fault, but walking from the metro with luggage, it was hard to cross. If you're coming at night, you might break an ankle. The room was non-smoking, though expect a lot of smoke in the hallway outside. The staff were nice and gave some snacks at checkout.
