We also prepared Rhodiola tea to prevent us from high reaction. The next day we went to Qinghai Lake. The scenery was really beautiful. The downside was that it was indeed surrounded. 😅 and then went to Chaka Salt. The lake went back today. In short, this Qinghai tour impressed me the most. Qinghai Hotel is really good. Excellent simple hotel! Really friendly staff. Next to supermarket, shops and restaurants. Beach and city centre about 10 mins away by taxi. Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Air conditioning is great. Definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Pros: 1) Location right beside train station and bus station. 2) Many eateries around the hotel 3) Room is clean and spacious Cons: 1) No aircon. I know it is cool during summer in Xining as well but i think it is a basic requirement for aircon in a hotel. A fan is provided but i think it is not a welcome sight for a hotel with a fan.

We were impressed by the front desk staff n grateful for Celine the manager. She helped us to get transport to go to Qinghai lake. She was able to speak English and make communication easier for us. We had a wonderful and memorable time in Xining. We hope to come back again.

The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is plentiful. Suitable for children. Free parking. The bed is comfortable and belongs to a slightly soft mattress.
