Beach Hotels in Yokohama

Perfect stay in yokohama, location is good, closed to the train station and in front of Nippon maru. Great service, room and facilities. Sky bar is very nice. We also can see Mt.Fuji from the window (62 th floor, city view).

A bit dingier than usual rooms at this price point, and missing some of the extra touches (such as paper cups instead of real cups, and only a single packet of coffee in the room), but was suitable and had everything I needed. I would stay again, but would prefer to stay in a little brighter room with the extra touches.

■ View bus Luxury Ocean twin Bay View Room The room with a clean can has a large window and a balcony. The view from the room, the balcony is the bay bridge, the Ferris wheel is visible. The bathtub and shower room are separate 々, so you can take a bath time slowly. The night view of the Ferris wheel with the bathroom was also very beautiful. Breakfast is surrounded by palm trees and a buffet style restaurant with a southern atmosphere. There were many items and it was delicious. This time, the prefectural people were applied and we were able to stay at a reasonable price. At the top of a downtown tower is the Oakwood Suites Yokohama. Upon arrival; after parking in the hotel's underground car park, we arrived at the reception with a breathtaking view of the city of Yokohama and Mount Fuji in the distance. Our rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. They were very large with a large, very well-equipped kitchen, a magnificent bathroom, a washing machine and a breathtaking view of the harbour. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was exemplary. We had a very pleasant stay and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Check in was smooth. The hotel clerk who checked us in was friendly. Check out is self serviced. There are check out kiosks on the ground flr and the 20th flr. The hotel staff told us to check out on the ground flr. But if you planned on storing your luggage at the hotel after check out, you should use the check out kiosk on the 20th. The hotel has WiFi coverage in the entire premises. No telephone in the room (not really necessary anyway), but there is a telephone to the reception on each flr by the elevators. The room itself is new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower. There is a stand shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good at this price point. 7-11 is on the ground flr right next to the hotel entrance.

The Regency Club staff at this hotel are some of the best in the industry. Staff that made our 15 night stay feel like home: Shoko, Risako, Chiaki, Shelley, Futoshi, Bianca, Mizuki, Hsegawa and some others but unfortunately I didn't get their names. They helped me with all me needs and questions including helping me with reservations and travel plans. They all speak English and are super patient with families. The rooms are super clean and modern. Housekeeping is amazing and made sure our baby diaper pail was changed each day and every inch of our room was clean. I opted for a suite which had an amazing bathroom with a super big tub. The blinds are automatic and the views are great. Breakfast buffet had so many choices and was so good. Hotel is 2 blocks from an amazing waterfront park and a 10 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium. 5 minute walk to Chinatown as well. The train is also less than a 5 minute walk and there is a 24 hour Lawson right across the street. Oh yea, a really special thanks to the bell-woman who waited with my luggage across the street in front of Lawson with the taxi while I ran back to my room after realizing I forgot my phone in the room after checking out.

The Intercontinental Yokohama Pier 8 is part of the Cruise Terminal Complex ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. If you are familiar with Cup Noodle museum, then it's right behind it. It's also a short 10 minute walk from the other Intercontinental: Yokohama Grand. The closest stations for both these hotels is the Minatomirai station on the Minatomirai line. If you are coming by JR, the closet station is Sakuragi-cho on the Keihin-Touhoku line and from there about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Yokohama Grand and a further 10 minutes to Pier 8. From the Hammerhead, you can clearly see the iconic fin shaped Intercontinental Yokohama Grand. It's in a good location with shops and restaurants in Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk and the famous Red Brick warehouse. The hotel is a rectangle building with an open area in the middle (garden) of the building from level 3. The ”outside” rooms are the City and Bay View rooms while the ”inside” rooms are the Garden View rooms. There's also a rooftop garden where you have a great view overlooking the bay and can just sit and relax in the sun. The staff were exceptional and the rooms amazing. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

The location is good which is near to the train station Shopping & dining nearby Parking nearby commercial building but the charge is high (2800 yen per night during weekends) However the price was a bit high (maybe it is near Christmas time) Lobby is small & there is a restaurant in the hotel However the restaurant is crowded during rush hours (after 9 am) Visitors need to wait over 15 mins

It’s been over a year since our family of four travelled to Yokohama due to COVID. We were quite impressed with the lobby and friendly service upon arrival. Check-in at 2pm is nice and allows time to check out the city and eat your way through Chinatown (couple minutes walk!). It was our children’s nap time so we got settled into the room. In Japan there are hotels at which the a/c only blows warm/hot air during the winter months. We’ve been through this once before at a hotel in Karuizawa and had a horrible night’s sleep. After almost 2 hours of not being able to nap and the kids getting cranky due to the heated stuffiness of the room, we decided to just check out, cut our trip short to return home, and likely eat the cost of the room. However upon hearing of our wish to check out, the front desk was more than accommodating and offered two separate rooms to choose from - both with actual cool air conditioning. Deputy Director Mr. Takaki Seto especially was beyond helpful and understanding of the need for our two small children to be comfortable. The new room was perfect and the a/c worked great. After the nice stay on the day of check-out, we were about to leave our room, but my wife discovered she had misplaced a very important sentimental ring. We spent an hour looking in the room for it to no avail. Our son had the brilliant idea to check the other room we were in for the two hours the day before. Mr. Takaki Seto not only let us back in the room but personally helped us search for 20 minutes. When we couldn’t find it, he called the front desk to check if the cleaning staff had found anything. They had! Only in Japan. The irreplaceable ring was returned. We gave our effusive apologies to Mr. Takaki Seto for his troubles yet he apologized for our worry. His kindness was amazing and we thank him again. Can’t say enough great things about the quality of hotel and the superb location. More importantly, the staff went well above and beyond. 5/5 and would definitely recommend!

I was finally able to stay at the Kahara Hotel, which I had always wanted to stay at ( ∀｀) Check-in was guided to the lobby floor on the 14th floor. The interior is different from Kahara in Hawaii, and I was excited to feel like Hawaii, as the staff 々 was wearing an Aloha shirt depending on the day of the week ♪ Breakfast is I had it at the Italian restaurant OZIO. Breakfast is a course meal, and the taste and quantity are perfect! Of course, it was delicious, but everything was brought on a historical plate and I enjoyed it with my eyes ♪ The Shin pancake I was looking forward to at the end was very delicious. Above all, the staff were very kind and comfortable. I would definitely like to use it again. Thank you very much.
