Hotel located not far from Zhangye south station. There are restaurants and shops in a walking distance. Check in was ok. Room is rather big but bathroom and toilet were not so clean. Most importance the wet and dry area in the bath room is not seperated. make it difficult when using. mate did not clean our room well on the second day the we stay. no refrigirator.

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English.
